Super Monopoly- TMNT Heroes and Villians
With McDonald's having their Monopoly game back again (a 1 in 4 chance at getting some food and perhaps more!), I came up with this idea. Most Monopoly-themed board games use a single board, but I propose a version where there is the possibility of traveling between two parallel universes. The way to do that is to either land on where the "Just Visiting" space is (dubbed "Portal"), land on where the "Free Parking" space is (dubbed "Transport Module"), or by drawing a card from the "Channel 3/6 News" or the "Pizza Time/Turtle Soup" deck, which includes other reward/penalty cards I'll describe below.
This game can be played either with single or both boards. Of course with single boards, the "Portal" and "Transport Module" spaces will revert to the spaces described below, corresponding with the "Jail/Visiting" and "Free Parking" spaces. Players start with $2000 (instead of $1500 with a single board) when using two boards. Tokens will include the following: Heroes: -Each of the four turtles with weapon -Splinter -April Villains: -Shredder -Foot Soldier -Utrom -Purple Dragon -Mouser -Random hench mutant The layout is as follows (going clockwise): Heroes: Go-Zach-Pizza Time-Carter-Sewer Tax-Cheapskate-Zak-Channel 6 News-Dask-Kala-Portal (Just visiting)-Irma-Electric Company-Vernon-Burne-Channel 6 Van-Mona Lisa-Pizza Time-Ray Fillet-Venus-Transport Module (Free pizza)-Usagi Yojimbo-Channel 6 News-REX-1-Lotus Blossom-Turtle Van-Cody Jones-Casey Jones-Sewer Works-April O'Neil-Go to Jail-Raphael-Michelangelo-Pizza Time-Donatello-Turtle Blimp-Channel 6 News-Leonardo-Ninja Training Tax-Splinter Villains: Go-Mouser-Turtle Soup-Roadkill Rodney-Dimension X Tax-Foot Rover-Triceraton-Channel 3 News-Rock Soldier-Foot Soldier-Portal (preparing Mutagen)-Tokka-Technolectric Co.-Rahzar-Hi-Tech-Foot Motorcycle-Foot Elite-Turtle Soup-Lt. Granitor-General Traag-Transport Module (powering disintegrator unit)-Leatherhead-Channel 3 News-Rat King-Slash-Foot Cruiser-Bebop-Rocksteady-Gravity Controller-Hun-Go to Mutagen Chamber-Karai-Baxter-Turtle Soup-Dregg-The Technodrome-Channel 3 News-Krang-Technodrome Tax-Shredder Property values are the same as in the standard monopoly version, and when using a single board, gameplay is the same. However, when using both boards, here are the rules: 1. There must be an even number of players (2, 4, 6, 8, 10, or 12) in order for fairness. 2. If playing as a hero and you own property of an opponent, rent is DOUBLED if a "villain" token lands upon it, and vice-versa. 3. Trading can only occur with players of the same team, unless the rare occassion occurs when all property is purchased and no monopolies are present. This adds to the "team" element. 4. Bankruptcy: When a hero allows a villain to go Bankrupt, all property thence can be obtained without paying any interest (except for mortgages.), and vice-versa. If an ally causes another ally to go bankrupt, then all property by the defeated ally must be returned to the bank. Finally, the equivalent "Chance and Community Chest" cards are basically the same as their standard counterparts, except that there are four decks instead of two, and 17 instead of 16 in each, with the extra resulting in a teleportation to the alternate universe. I hope you like this twist to Monopoly.
