Well, one time I drove home from my workplace on a street I hadn't previously taken, and wound up going through some rough neighborhood. I stopped and parked my car behind an old convenience store, went in and made a purchase, and went out again to find my car gone. I walked along several streets to look for it but couldn't find it, and then I was hoping the whole thing was just a dream.

A moment later I woke right up. (I was in bed and my car was safely in my garage.)

That awkward moment, when you're Old People racing down a hallway in a hotel, and then a group of people come around the corner and make WTF faces at your hunched over self, and you turn around to realize that the person you were old people racing with has betrayed you and is walking normally...yeaaaah awkward.

That awkward moment when you realize you just made a really long run-on sentence.
