This image took 12 years to be done, I have draw it in 2000 and was colored now in 2012, what do you think?

Wait a sec... Maybe I'm reading into this, but the figures you posted a link to, did you design those?

Just helped the design process, they are some kind of REMCO knock-offs, and they were designed by Zoloworld, I just helped in some design choices.

Some examples of art commissions made for local newspapers, I would like to know your opinions:

in 2004 (is part of a series of 25)


Salesman -"Take this dress, its color fits very well with your pale skin tone..."
Costumer -"I´m black, only went pale when I saw how much you ask for it."

Yes from 1998 to 2004 I worked as a cartoonist for 3 different Local newspapers in Portugal, also made some exhibitions in art galleries.

Then in 2005 I stopped, got many request to work in Marketing and Sales developing for some brands.

Since 2005 to 2011 I worked for brands like Era Real State, Portuguese Yellow Pages, Mafirol, Peugeot, Coffee News, Ticket Achats, Veigas Real State, and some other local brands but never done comics or cartoons again.

Now I´m unemployed (yes economics got really bad here) and I have to do some freelance work to pay the bills.

So now I have time to get back to fan projects, comics, cartoons and any work I get.

Loving to make these, and I hope that my life now will be more about this geek stuff than going back to suit/office work

Well just for you (because here no one cares for these threads so only you will know about it lol) I can reveal that the minicomics will be sold also online via comixology, comixpress or a similar site/application for less than 3$ I believe it will less than 2$ but I´m not sure, I don´t market them I just draw make them

They will be first available carded with a weapons pack, that will have the minicomic and some weapons, limbs for customize the figures, clothes and pelts. When they get sold out (they will be a limited edition, but not so scarce so they will not be numbered) only then they will be available online.

I´m also working on more commissions but the client don´t let me reveal and share the art, but are just coloring commissions, not my actual draw "art" we just have to wait to have it published I can just say it is a revamp of some Golden Age characters that are now public domain

Something fun about these minicomics is that this is my re-learning to draw process, I was so much time without really drawing that this was an on the job process, is like some kind of athlete that was injured and now is coming back to competition.

Who ever read them will see progressive changes on each panel, is a fun journey that the concerned reader will appreciate, and because this is a collectible line of toys there is something fun to have this artistic rebirth of an author.

Also asking....the only female draw is Sybil the oracle? I request more female examples! Maybe any princess???

OK the 2000 is the when it was done, and it is Flor da Rosa, check here: http://pt.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flor_da_Rosa

About more females... well there is one more but her end is tragic and she will not have a figure... I also I´m making an effort to get ZOLO to produce females, lets see if the line sells wave 2 and 3 and then some will be done because we need to cast a female body...

Wave 5 is being planed to have Amazons and Valkyries, lets see if we get there
