Just throw support behind it,the last episode of Power Rangers I ever watched was the Next Mutation crossover for a good reason. Done with the originals by a trusted group this really would be a 90s' kids dream.

That's not something that is really quantifiable, so I have no clue.

I personally don't see much value in it, story-wise. But I don't like crossovers on a whole anyway!

Follow up question. Feel free not to answer but do you have a clear idea or a few story ideas where you would go with Usagi if you were to secure rights to use him?

Now that the Turtles currently fight with the Foot, any chance of seeing them ditch the colored bandanas and go all in with red ones? It would actually make some sense right now for that to happen...

Or even orange because Mikey doesn't want to fight with them during this time... Lol.

Yes, I'm in the minority of fans that dislikes the color coded Turtles. They're bros. Family. They are supposed to be one fighting unit.

For what it's worth, my opinion has always been that it's ridiculous for mutant turtles to wear masks of any kind. For some reason that always gets ignored in the four color vs single color debate.

Did Mateus create Kitsune in the sense that he came up with her out of the blue and his doing so eventually introduced the concept of the Pantheon into the whole ongoing story, or were you already looking to introduce someone along those lines during Secret History and Mateus simply filled in the blanks?

Also, why is Koya named Koya? Is Saki from that region of Japan and chose to honor it that way, or was it picked because it's just a cool-sounding Japanese name? I've had the former as a personal bit of headcanon for quite a while.

Pretty sure Kitsune came completely from Mateus' head. I asked Mateus to do something detailing the origin of the Foot Clan and to get deeper into Shredder's origin and his relationship with Splinter, but never mentioned anything about a character like Kitsune. That's all Mateus, unless Erik had a part in her creation that i'm misremembering.

We didn't have any plans for Pantheon type characters before her. Actually, we came up with Rat King as sort of a mythological character independently, right around the end of City Fall, and then realized we could retcon Kitsune as part of the same group, and Chi You came quickly after.

You'd have to ask Tom about Koya-- I do believe there's a fable or place or something in relation to that name, but I don't recall it.

It's also why the feathers at the ends of her wings are supposed to be like blades. At least in my original design, different artists draw her wings differently.

That's actually quite a revelation. Some day, when the Pantheon arc wraps (hopefully not taking the entire series with it) and we the fans have had a chance to see where all this is going, it'd be interesting to speculate how the absence of such an overarching storyline would have affected the comic and taken it in a different direction. Feels to me like it would be as radically different as GRRM's original plans and what was actually published as A Song of Ice and Fire. Not better or worse, necessarily, just extremely different in an almost alternate universe way.
