I'm kind of confused with Kitsune's desire to bring back Saki from the dead. It seemed like she wanted him dead for a long time. During City Fall, she was behind Alopex attack on the Shredder and she seemed to manipulate him to fight Splinter during Vengeance.
Why did she seem to want him dead than suddenly care for him enough to try and steal his corpse? Whats her plan with him?

In your opinion who was the more skilled/ better fighter in the IDW series, Saki or Yoshi? I know Splinter was able to deliver the final blow to kill Saki but it seemed like throughout the series, Shredder was the more powerful combatant.

Thanks!

There's some clues sprinkled throughout the series as to what Kitsune's plans are. More will become clear as the series progresses.

I think Shredder was the better fighter, but like all fights, other factors such as preparation, fatigue and emotional state all play a large part. Splinter is close though.

hello

you're probably not the person to ask about this but i take it there's like no chance of a Mutants in manhattan 2, or another IDW TMNT video game for that matter?

Also would you consider the TMNT MiM story canon?

Mutants in Manhattan isn't set in the IDW universe--- highly influenced as the designs are based on Mateus' art, and Tom wrote it-- but it doesn't connect to the overall story and doesn't "fit" anywhere.

I personally have no idea how popular the game was and if it warrants a sequel. I'm sure Mateus and Tom would be interested to return though!

You know, Mirage meeting IDW would be amazing due to how the two have handled both the act of killing and the concept of revenge. That cycle of revenge between the Shredder and Splinter really spiraled out of control in volume one. Would be amazing if the crossover could be done with both Kevin and Peter being the creative driving force.

Though, the mention of Archie and Image (alongside the Nicktoon Comic) makes me want to see a Turtles Forever-style comic crossover. It can be quite interesting for a character to see what could be if things had been different.

Hey Bobby,

Have you given any thought as to how you, Tom and Kevin would end the series? Bear in mind, I absolutely don't want to see this series end any time soon. I'd love to see a TMNT #100, or #200, or even a #300. But you, Tom and Kevin have really made this series yours and it wouldn't be the same book without you guys. And since you probably didn't have a lifetime commitment in mind when you took this book on, I have to ask... Have you given any thought as to how the series will end or where you want these characters to ultimately end up, at least in broad strokes?

Not that I would mind if you haven't. Many comic book writers on a schedule (most?) are just trying to get the next issue out on time. But it wouldn't surprise me if you've given it more than a passing thought considering how methodically plotted the series is.

(And obviously you don't have to be specific )

Don't put ideas in their head to leave - we want more.
In terms of keeping the same crew on a book this is one of the longest running series in modern times i can think of. I think only New 52 has gone longer with the same team (Snyder/Capullo)
Keep up the (Always) great work guys!

They did the same title for 54 issues. Geoff Johns oversaw Green Lantern's main title for 87 (67 pre-New 52,20 post)issues, the two issues that concluded pre-New 52, and the six issue GL: Rebirth before it all totaling at 95 issues. During that course he had Van Sciver and Reis as his artist.

Back on topic, I read that Bebop and Rocksteady were not intended to become a part of the series originally. How did it they come about?

We tend to think out the next two years pretty specifically, and the two years beyond that in broad terms. So we have a pretty good idea how #100 will go down, though some things are being kept flexible. While obviously very different in content, #100 will be akin to #50 in that it will close the door on some long-running plots and open doors on others. So it could be a good ending point, though to be clear I hope we'll continue beyond that! That's about as far as we've thought about it.

For our IDW series? No, we intended to include them from the start. We just knew we wanted to hold off on them for a while.

Any plans to knock off Splinter in the near future? Mirage vol 4 did that and the guys went their separate ways... I know he was wounded recently and all...

Also, will Universe jump around a great deal in the timeline? And will Raph lose an eye?

Thanks for your time.

Never going to discuss the future fate of characters-- too spoiler-y, sorry!

Universe has the potential to jump around in the timeline for the right story, but overall i'd like to keep it as close to the regular ongoing title as possible.

Do you foresee any issues drawn by some of the old Mirage staffers, like Lawson, Dooney, Talbot, Farley, etc.?

Sorry to go outside of your editorial realm here, but I noticed a lack of Ghostbusters in today's solicits. Do you (or maybe Tom would) know if they'll be out of the picture for the near future? Thanks.

I haven't heard anything about Ghostbusters stopping, I feel like I would have heard scuttlebutt about that. But then again, I haven't really been paying attention to that book, so it could be it's on brief hiatus with something else coming later. I'm 99% sure there's more coming at some point though.

Sorry I can't be more helpful!

So in high school Darius was shown to simultaneously be a jock, a nerd and a delinquent, interesting subversion of the high school stereotypes there . So I guess he's not a time traveller then?
