I noticed on the write up for the rat:

* Otak the rat (pictured above) - Features a 14" spear, a turtle shell shield, a bone knife, supply pouches, a claw necklace, a collection of bone, real metal earrings and a base.

Seems like a little more than a coincidence...a small nod, maybe?

Did anyone read the SRP on these? It is $59.99. THat is pretty pricy for one figure. Even Sideshow action figures are cheaper than that!

Ya, that's damn expensive. And actually, most of Sideshows figs are priced the same as the mahority of other quality 1:6 scale figures.

No no no you misunderstand. I took the prank to be that those figs are not really Splinter. I know their actual toys but...well, I thought it was a Splinter prank. You know? People would link thinking there's news on a 12" Splinter and instead was shown some weird-ass rat toys. Get it? Huh?
