Terror in the streets

[Storm Wolf]

The setting is New York city. Murders have been occurring out of nowhere. People who have been confirmed as dead, are sometimes reported walking the streets at night. The bodies are sometimes mutilated, while others are drained of blood, while still yet others come into the morgue half eaten. The NYPD has been paid by government agents to pretend it’s a single killer, a sort of Jack the Ripper, wreaking havoc on the city. Things will only get worse by the day…..

Kylie stared at the front page of the New York Daily. She read the title once again “Maniac killer strikes again!” She scanned the Column “ Police say killer uses many different methods……..bite wounds on the neck……or innards strewn across the scene…” Kylie sighed heavily, her brother wasn’t gonna like this very much. A loud thud from behind made her jump, Kylie turned to see a large gray wolf. “DAMON!” She shouted “how many times have I told you not to sneak up on me like that!” The wolf gave a grin “Come on sis….how could I resist? Besides you should be paying more attention, especially of late.”

Kylie frowned “I suppose you’ve already read the front pager then?” Damon nodded “And you know exactly what that means… this city will be crawling with government agents, looking for us…”

Kylie and her brother had a mutual agreement with the government. They could remain in the city, the country, as long as they took no innocent or important lives…. As long as they caused no trouble for the law.

Kylie looked at her brother, concerned “What are we going to do Damon?” Damon shook his head “I’m not quite sure Kylie…thinking is your area…I just make it happen.”

Caset turned off his TV and threw the remote on the ground in a fir of rage. "That ack the Ripper wanna be is gonna get a taste of justice tonight..." Casey grabbed his golf club bag and his mask. ".....In the for of Casey Jones!" Casey ran out of his apartment and started his patrol.

[Mars-Chan]

As Mars pulled her trenchcoat closer to her as she crossed the street, comming home from the movie she saw, and adjusting the hat on her head, she then spotted an good old friend of hers. "Case!" She called out, jogging over to meet him. "...yo, Jones! Where you at, Crazy-man!?"

((OCC: "Crazy-Man" is her nickname for him. Just thought I'd give you a heads up. :D))

"So....did you happen to get anything to eat?" Kylie glanced over at her brother, who had taken his human form. "Uhhh.....no?" He answered her "I thought you were supposed to..."

Kylie growled in frustration "Well i guess we don't get food tonight....so then what were you doing then?"

Damon smiled sheepishly.

"What did you do?" Kylie crossed her arms "Please tell me you weren't touring the town in your wolf form...."

Damon scratched the back of his hea "Well actually i just visited the murder scene to see if.....you know...maybe it was another wolf..."

Kylie slapped her forhead "great. Lets leave our pawprints and fur at the scene....they definatly won't suspect us now..."

[Jo Dawn]

April set the paper down, and shivered slightly. She didn't like this, not one bit. And, she hated to admit it, but it made her more than a little nervous. She hated being scared.

Maybe... maybe she'd have one of the guys stay overnight... or she could go down to the lair, of course... But she didn't want them to suspect she was scared. Then they'd get all over-preotective, and... then they'd know she was scared.

Leonardo flipped off the TV, and sat back more in the couch. He didn't like this. They'd been patrolling more often now that this killer had begun striking, but they never seemed to come close to even seeing him. He sighed heavily.

How could they keep missing him like that??

(I will play Randi and Raph until someone else claims him... and because I'm lazy, Randi will already be a friend of the turtles)

Scared? Maybe a little.

Not that she had anything to really worry about. The 'Ripper' wanna-be wasn't out to kill female turtles, he was after humans. All the same, Randi had opted to stay at the guys' place for a while. She leaned on the back of the couch, directly to Leonardo's left.

"Want me to come during the next patrol?" She asked, "I may not be a ninja, but I could help in other ways." She tapped her head.

"No." Raphael grunted, walking over an plopping down on the other side of Leonardo, "You ain't comin'."

"Says you." Randi frowned at him, looking back to Leo. "Dude, you know I could be of help."

Casey looked behind him at Mars. "Oh, hey Mars. hwat are you doing out now?"

Kylie and Damon walked down the street, side by side. "So...while you were there did you find anything?" Kylie asked him.

"Well....it's definatly NOT human....I don't think any human would have the power to make such a mess, there were still blood stains everywhere." Damon answered. "Icouldn't get a scent either...to many distractions."

Kylie shook her head "I hate to say this, but were gonna have to find the killer....weather we like it or not we are involved now..."

Damon noded "So what do you suggest?" he knew his sister was beginning to form a plan. "Well to start with, we should prolly patrol the area....you know....see if we can finad anything out of the ordinary...then i'll have to go from there."

"Ok..." Damon agreed "Lets split up and meet back at the park?"

" ten four Bro..." Kylie turned and trotted off in the opposite direction of her brother.

Hanzo stuck to the rooftops as always,haunted about his discovery. "What could've done such a horrible thing?" "It surely couldn't have been human." Just as he concluded his thoughts he heard an unusual sound coming from the streets below.

Looking down he saw a werewolf in the alley below,thinking this was the creature that was responsible for the slain human,he drew his sword and proceeded to jump down to the alley. He landed behind the creature and whispered "you made quite a mess..."

[Storm Wolf]

Kylie spun around her fur rising on her nape "who the hell are you?" Her teeth flashed as she spoke "and what "mess do you speak of?" Kylie didn't like this creature....how many things would dare to sneak up behind a werewolf?

[Wingnut]

Hanzo was startled by the wolfs reaction. Backing away he said "I found a mutilated body behind a store" He put his sword away and removed his mask to show his reptilian skin and face...pausing he said quietly "If you didn't do this...what did?"

[Storm Wolf]

"I dunno..." Kylie said cautiously "thats what i'm out here to find out..." she wasn't quite sure if she could trust this strange creature "so when did you find this body? Just recently?" She was a curious creature by nature.

[Wingnut]

"About 5 minutes ago...." Hanzo said,his toungue slithered out on "s" in "minutes" he rushed to put his mask back on. He was uncomfortable about his appearence. He asked "Are you searching for the same creature?"

[Storm Wolf]

"hmmm..."kylie arched a furry brow "I've heard nothing all night...not one sound..." She looked at the masked lizard creature "Well yes...i'm hoping to find it...and perhaps turn it in, before..." she paused "I get accused of the crime." Kylie didn't want this new arrival to know about her brother just yet.

[Wingnut]

"Oh" Hanzo knew the Wolf was leaving out something. He kept off the subject and said "Im gonna search the park" he then walked off.

[Storm Wolf]

Kylie cocked her head slightly, how could he just walk off like that? "Wait..." she called after him "Aren't you going to show me to the body or something?" kylie wasn't quite sure if he had heard her of not.

[Wingnut]

Hanzo heard the voice,he walked back. "I didn't intend on showing you,but i guess you should see." "Follow me..."

[Storm Wolf]

Kylie started after him "Good call...umm...what did you say your name was?" She hoped maybe she could make at least a temporary alliance with this creature, he could be of some use later.


--------------------------Meanwhile------------------

Damon crept along the shadowed streets, nothing was abnormal. In fact it was eerily quiet for New York. "Everyone must be scared senseless....the thugs aren't even out." Damon headed to a more densly populated area. If the killer preferred humans he was bound to be lurking in such a place.

"Hanzo...Hattori Hanzo" Hanzo led the wolf to the store where he'd found the body. There it lie,in a pool of blood. Hanzo glanced over at the creature and saw the look of disgust on its face. "What do you suppose we do?"

[Storm Wolf]

"I'm Kylie...." She paused "Kylie Yareni."

Kylie wrinkled her lips at the sight of the body "Wow thats jus awful...." she scented the air "Well judging by the smell and the fact that the blood hasn't coagulated yet...our victim has only been dead for about a couple minutes..." Kylie looked at Hanzo "Now i've seen a lot worse, but this doesn't look like a humans doins to me." She noticed how the body was mauled a bit. "the undead? but they wouldn't appear in the city..." She looked to Hanzo "We should leave, and scout the immediate area...perhaps the perpatraitor is still nearby...but be on your guard."

[Wingnut]

"OK" Hanzo wasn't sure if he like taking orders,but Kylie sounded like she knew what she was talking about. "Wait" Hanzo said. He saw something out of the corner of his eye..."Did you just see that?"

[Storm Wolf]

Kylie crouched low to the ground and stared in the direction that Hanzo had indicated, she had been to busy studying the body to notice anything else. "Did you see what it was?" she whispered. Kylie suddenly got a bad feeling and a low growl rose up in her throat.

"Over there" Hanzo whispered. He saw a shadowy figure running into a nearby store. He drew his sword and concentrated all his energy into it,it burst into flames...he looked to Kylie. "Well why don't find out what this thing is?"

Deacon stood on the rooftop above the latest murder. "Damn lycans think they rule the town. Think they can kill whoever, whenever they want. Eventually, the cops are gonna found out about us, too. I have to put s stop to this NOW." Deacon grabbed his dula blades and jumped down to stret level staying in the darkness.

Unbeknownst to Deacon, he himself was being watched...

Michelangelo Hamato, mutant ninja turtle, watched the entire spectacle from a short distance. He was pondering whether he should take action or not. Then he say the fellow on the rooftop hop down towards the wolf and the other one. With blades in hand, no less.

Geez. That's just peachy...

"Over there" Hanzo whispered. He saw a shadowy figure running into a nearby store. He drew his sword and concentrated all his energy into it,it burst into flames...he looked to Kylie. "Well why don't find out what this thing is?"

Kylie nodded slightly, but then shook her head "Umm...if your sure, but you know...it could be something way more powerful...or it could just be a regular human...either way...we must be cautious." She whispered to Hanzo. Kylie didn't like to fight, she also hated heated confrontations. Damon usually took care of her verbal and physical despuits.

Hanzo went around to the back of the building and twisted the handle,it was unlocked...Hanzo and Kylie went into the the dark building,as they crept inside they realized it was a grocery store. Hanzo heard nothing and leaned over to Kylie and said " I guess nothing is here..." Hanzo was proceeding to search the building when he saw a dripping substance coming from the ceiling. He stood totally still and whispered "Over here..."

[Storm Wolf]

Kylie scented the air "what is that smell?" she moved up next to Hanzo "she looked at the substance froming a puddle on the floor "Gross...that stuff smell like a three week old corpse..." Kylie scanned the room. Nothing.

An orange rolled across the market floor and bumped into the back of Kylie's foot. She jumped and spun around, then gave a nervous laugh as she noticed what it was "Maybe we should find backup?" She looked to Hanzo, if he was afraid he was good at hiding it. Kylie wasn't used to being in this type of situation with a stranger, and that made her all the more jumpy.

Deacon watched as the two creatures snuch into the back of the grocery store. Finally, a werewolf. I've been waiting for this all night long. Deacon slid his blades into the scabbards on the inside of his coat, so they were out of sight. He walked up behind Kylie and Hanzo. "may I help you two things with something?" He stressed the word "things".

Hanzo turned around and leaped back,thinking someone was going to attack him,he stood still,scoping the figure,ready to stirke with his sword. He thought to himself "This just isn't my day."

[Storm Wolf]

Kylie turned and looked strait into the face of what seemed to be a human. Kylies nose caught a smell of damp, clammy skin...the smell of something that wasn't alive, but not quite dead either. All of Kylies fur was standing "State your buisness Vampire!" She growled. damn bloodsuckers, Kylie thought always thinking they can do whatever they want when they want

Deacon smiled and with a quick movement of his amrs he drew his blades. He lunged at Kylie, transforming into his full vampire form on the way.

((When I say transform to his vampire form, he turns into a vampire and looks like the ones from Buffy/Angel and From dusk till dawn.))

Kylie wasn't ready for a Vampire opponent, she was totally unprepared. She quickly engaged the blades on her metal arm bands, and launched herself towards the vampire to meet his attack. Kylie didn't have time to send a call to her brother...Vampires were quick and she doubted he'd giver her a chance to call for reinforcements, so at the current moment her only chance was Hanzo, unless he was with the vampire.

Damon watched the last of the humans filter out of a late night movie from the shadows. "Well...nothing to suspicious..." He crouched low on all fours, crawling so that his belly dragged the ground slightly, and continued down the street.

[Mars-Chan]

"Meh...why not." Mars shrugged, as she then chuckled. "...not like I was going to do anything else tonight anyways. I haven't seen April in a long time. I think it'd be nice to see her again."

Kylie landed on her side, but quickly bounced and regained her feet. "grrr...what do you want bloodsucker?" she growled, trying to stall him.

Damon watched from across the street as two figures approached the fire escape of a building. This intrested him and he watched them closesly. from what he knew of humans they usually used a front or back door to gain entrance, only thieves and killers used other means.

Hanzo lept on the the wall to his left and crawled to the side of the vampire. Then pushing himself off the wall he flew through the air,tackling the vampire. He looked to Kylie,trying to keep the vampire restrained he yelled "Go on,what the hell are you waiting for?!"

Using his feet for leverage, Deacon threw Hanzo off of him and into a wall(Remember, vampires have super strength). He then leapt up and stared Kylie down. "I want to know why your kind has to go around killing humans for no good reason. Not to mention depleting or food supply."

Hanzo got up and charged the vampire,but when he got within striking distance the vampire turned around. Hanzo hit him with a full head of steam and managed to knok him over. He was on top of the vampire trying to hold him he screamed "I CANNOT HOLD HIM DOWN MUCH LONGER...GO AND GET HELP!!!"

Kylie opened her mouth to say something, then quickly closed it. She stared at the Vampire for a long while "Well hell...i was gonna say just about the same thing...." She was still in a fighting stance "You know....I am under the goverment...i'm not allowed to touch a human in any way that is harmful....thats the rules i live by...."

"********!" Deacon spat in Hanzo's face.

Hanzo's beady eyes began to sting. He tried to keep the vampire down blind and the vampire eventually got loose and flipped over, Hanzo returned the favor. The two rolled around,trading punches,Hanzo grunted "Spitting in my face,don't you fight with honor?"

[Storm Wolf]

Kylie let out a long howl "stop it!" she rushed closer to the fight "Hanzo wait...you two...." She wasn't sure but perhaps the vampire was on the same side, and she didn't want to gain sucha powerful enemy.

[Wingnut]

Hanzo got off the vampire,sword in hand. He wiped his eyes and moved beside Kylie,he stood there silently waiting to see what the vampire had to say.

"I've had enough of this!" Deacon kneed Hanzo in the stomach, flipped him over, and put one foot onto him, holding him down. The strength of the vampire was too muhc for Hanzo to move. "I want some answers. Now!"

Kyliem took another step foreward "Look....i'll answer whatever questions you have....as long as you don't hurt him." She nodded toward Hanzo.

"Look none of us really know whats going on....there is no need for us to rip out each others intrails, when we may be on the same side!" Kylie hoped Vampires would listen to reason...all the stories she had heard suggested otherwise.

Deacon let Hanzo go, and reverted back to his "human" form. He had jet black hair and was very young looking, probably early 20's. "It's funny to hear a Lycan telling someone to not rip out entrails."

Hanzo got up and stood behind the vampire silenty,listening to his conversation with Kylie

"Well....i'm different." she retracted her blades "It's my ass if the governments cronies think a werewolf did this...." Kylie didn't want to seem to much of a threat so she let her wolfish appearence melt away.

A beutiful young female stood in the wolfs place "I didn't know Vampires occupied the city?"

[Wingnut]

"You'd be surprised what lurks in this city..." Hanzo said.

[Storm Wolf]

Kylie glanced at Hanzo momentarily "yeah....especially of late...." she turned her attention back to the vampire.

[Wingnut]

"You know i hate to break up this very important conversation,but do you think we might need any backup?" Hanzo said

[Storm Wolf]

Kylie laughed nervously, she didn't want the vampire to know there was another lycan running around town untill she was completely sure he ment no harm. "Back up?" she said innocently "Hanzo...where would a werewolf get back up?" She put her foot on his and applied some pressure trying to get her message across.

[Wingnut]

"Well I DOOOO" Hanzo knew what she was trying to get across and gave her a look that said "trust me" He continued. " I have some friends of mine that would like to nab whatever is wreaking havoc in the city..."

Kylie nodded "I suppose...but lets see what he has to say first...." she reasoned

"Very well..." Hanzo was also curious to see what the vampire Deacon had to see it had been awhile since he'd encountered a vampire...

"That a fact?" A dark figure seemed to materialize out of the shadows in the midst of the group. It was an eery effect, almost as if the figure had literally been fused with the shadows themselves a mere moment before...

Michelangelo stood there, gazing curiously at the group. "Hi."

Deacon turned to look at Michelangelo. "Oh, you."

"Want me to come during the next patrol?" She asked, "I may not be a ninja, but I could help in other ways." She tapped her head.

April paced her living room, wringing her hands. This is stupid. She thought to herself. Every little noise is making you... She stopped, listening intently to her surroundings.

She frowned. She HATED being scared. Absolutely hated it.

...But she sure wished one of the guys would at least call...

Casey climbed up the fire escape and banged on Aprils living room window. He smiled wiaitng for her reaction...

"...That could take anywhere from a few minutes to a few hours." Randi replied, "Something could happen within that time... like say, another murder?" She pulled off her sunglasses, rubbed her eyes for a moment and put them back on.

All of the turtles, including Mars, had seen her eyes; but this didn't stop the female from still being a little self concious about them. "And from what I can tell from the other murderers... ain't no ordinary person doin' this if you catch my drift."

"All tha more reason yer stay'n here." Raph retorted.

"All the more reason for me to come." She replied back.

Casey climbed up the fire escape and banged on Aprils living room window. He smiled wiaitng for her reaction...

April jumped, as a banging noise suddenly came from her window. She clutched a pillow from the couch. Maybe it was one of the guys... She thought hopefully.

She chanced a peek at the window, then gasped and turned the corner. The shadow outside was definitly not one of them... It was most definitly human!

She contemplated calling the police, but knew that they wouldn't get there in time. She knew someone who could get there quicker. She picked up the phone, and dialed.



"Hello?"

"Donnie?" She stage-whispered. "You on patrol?"

"What's wrong?" He immediatley sounded worried.

"There's someone here... outside my window..."

"Don't do anything. I'll be right there." And then the dial tone sounded.


April chanced another peek at the window. The figure was still there, just... STANDING there... She clutched the pillow tighter, and looked around for something to use to protect herself. This person was NOT going to frighten her anymore.

Or, at least, she wouldn't go down without a fight...

Damon crossed the road silently and found a closer view point. now the Human was beating on a window, pehaps trying to break it? Damon waited. even if there was no screaming he would investigate this.

Casey banged on the window again. "Come on April! What's the hold up!"

Kylie folded her arms, this was to much " Alright...look i'd love to see how many more "things" pop out of the shadows like he just did, but i'm on a mission here." She turned on her heel and started walking away.


"Wait" Kylie kept on walking as if Hanzo had said nothing. He walked beside her and eventually got her to stop. He continued "Look,I have no clue whats going on. And this has been the weirdest day of my life,but we need to stick together for now and form a plan,then we can split up..."

Deacon laughed. "Typical of a werewolf to just give up and walk away."

Kylie looked at Hanzo "look...i understand but i really don't like a lot of...err..i don't like crowds." She was going to add something else when she heard the vampires words.

Kylie jumped landing in front of him, her face close to his, her eyes catching his. "You know nothing of what i've been thru vampire...and until then i suggest you keep your racial comment to yourself!" Her long black hair flowed gently in the wind, and her eyes burned green "if your whole intent was to come here just to mock me then i suggest you leave."

Hanzo stood and watched the scrape between the two. He thought to himself "This isn't going well,these two can't get along,and only a two of my students could help me if this doesn't work out..."

Hanzo was about to say something,but decided it was futile. This rivaly between the races could not be solved with a talk. He walked over to the figure that came out of the shadows. "So,whats your story?" he asked quietly.

April jumped when the person yelled. The voice was familiar... She inched closer to the window.

"Casey Jones!" She yelled, looking at him."What in the WORLD are you doing standing outside my window??"

She hit him with the pillow. "You scared me to death!!"

Damon coudn't quite get all of what the humans were saying, partly because he wasn't fully listening. He heard waht seemed to be surprised shouts. "thats it....i'm going to investigate." He started to make his way towards the fire escpae.

"Sorry babe. Just stopped by to see if you were ok." Casey went to step through the window when he saw someone approaching them. "And it looks like I showed up at the right time." Casey reached into his bag and pulled out two baseball bats.

Deacon turned to look at Michelangelo. "Oh, you."

"Oh, me?" Michelangelo smirked. Not quite the reaction he was expecting. "I know you, pal??" Or maybe vice-versa.

Kylie folded her arms, this was to much " Alright...look i'd love to see how many more "things" pop out of the shadows like he just did, but i'm on a mission here." She turned on her heel and started walking away.


"Thing??" Mike mumbled in a mocking tone. "Well, now you've gone and hurted my feelins'." He laughed jovially.

"O' course," He added, "not sure if a 'werewolf' has much room to label a guy like me a 'thing'." He grinned.

Deacon laughed. "Typical of a werewolf to just give up and walk away."

"Uh-oh." Mike sensed a conflict brewing.

Hanzo stood and watched the scrape between the two. He thought to himself "This isn't going well,these two can't get along,and only a two of my students could help me if this doesn't work out..."

Hanzo was about to say something,but decided it was futile. This rivaly between the races could not be solved with a talk. He walked over to the figure that came out of the shadows. "So,whats your story?" he asked quietly.

Like Hanzo, Mike was watching the scuffle between the two of them. He didn't take his eyes off them.

"Name's Michelangelo Hamato," he replied casually. "But, everyone calls me Mike. Or Mikey. Whichever flips your boat, I guess.... To put it simply, I'm a mutant, a turtle, and a ninja. Badda-bing, badda-boom. And stuff."

"Well my name is Hanzo,mutant lizard and ninja,nice to meet you Mike" He paused and then said "This really isn't working out to well..."

Leo looked over at Randi. He frowned. "I..." He began, then sighed. "I wanna talk to Mikey when he gets back. And Don. He went out for patrol not long ago. We'll wait and see what they have to say."

"...That could take anywhere from a few minutes to a few hours." Randi replied, "Something could happen within that time... like say, another murder?" She pulled off her sunglasses, rubbed her eyes for a moment and put them back on.

All of the turtles, including Mars, had seen her eyes; but this didn't stop the female from still being a little self concious about them. "And from what I can tell from the other murderers... ain't no ordinary person doin' this if you catch my drift."

"All tha more reason yer stay'n here." Raph retorted.

"All the more reason for me to come." She replied back.

Raph snorted, "I ain't goanna go out and have to worry about luggin' your sorry slow shell everywhere."

Randi gave him a death glare from over the top rim of her sunglasses. After a long moment of this, she finally spoke. "Then don't." The stood up and went over to where her jacket and guns hung. "I'm going, with or with out you." She told them, putting on her gun straps, "I'll find Mikey and Don and we'll figure this out..."

"Fine! See if I care." Raph growled.

Randi shrugged, starting for the entrance to their home, "Oh well, if I die, just let every one know its ya'll's faults." With that, she left.

"...****." Raph growled, standing to grab his sais. If anything happened to Randi, Mike would throw a fit. "I'm followin' her."

Mars then swung herself into the room and greeted April with her usual "Crazy-man-scare-the-shell-offa-ya-again?" smile, as she then pulled her hat and trenchcoat off and tensed her muscles. "Yo, Crazy-Man..." She said, as she then inched up next to him. "...you see anything out there or are we just standin' here for nothing?"

April winced as she watched the two square off. As angry as she was with Casey for scaring her, she sure was glad that she wasn't alone right then. Having he and Mars there definitly helped.

Kylie's voice held mild interest, she didn't want to start a fight, but she wasn't about to let her people become catagorized as "things" either.


"look vampire, either your with me...or your not, either way i care not." She paused for a breath "And if your with me, at least give me something to call you other than Vampire."

My brother is going to kill me Kylie thought to herself.

Randi walked down the sewer tunnel, finding no real need to move quickly... not yet at least. She knew that if not Raphael, Leonardo would feel the need to follow her. Idiots. She thought, they never seemed to trust that she was perfectly capable to take care of herself. Heck, she did so long before she met them.

Sure, she had asked if she could stay at their place during this whole panic, but that was mainly because two of the murders had occured near her where she lived. The female turtle didn't want to wake up or come home to find that the murderer had taken up residence in her home... an abandoned appartment complex. She was a little scared, yes; but that was all the more reason to go out and find this threat and get rid of it.

Finding a secure man hole, she climbed up the ladder and slipped onto the night street. Immediatly, she began a telepathic scan for any sign of either Michelangelo or Leonardo.

Randi had been right. Raphael was indeed following her, being extra careful to keep a still mind and keep his distance lest she took any notice to him. It wasn't that Raphael didn't trust Randi's skills -- well, yes, it was -- but he most definately didn't trust the murderer. From Raph had learned from the female turtle's luck, when she went looking for trouble it was a good bet that she'd find it.

Randi was getting annoyed, the only one of the guys that she could sense was the one trying to secretly follow her; she blatently ignored Raphael and continued to move through the city, scanning for either Donatello or Michelangelo. She could always check that April girl's place, or look for Mars... but what was the fun in that?

Finally, she choose to send out a message, at least to Mike. ~Raphael's annoying me... where are you so I might resist the urge to kill him?~

That was when he noticed that Randi was moving towards main and up into the higher numbered streets.

Out of the dark, a familiar figure leapt on silent feet from rooftop to rooftop until she paused, more like crouched, on one and she sighed. "All right, gang..." Mars sighed, studing the streets below her. "...if you need me, I'll be right here."

"Could you restate the plan for us new comers, just so everything's crystal."

"Most certainly..."Kylie said. "I'm the to bait the creature out into the open, from there it's touch an go." Kylie pushed her raven black hair behind her ears. "The park seems like a perfect place to set this up...it's close, it's open, and there are plenty of trees and plants to conceal the creature."


Kylie stepped away from the crowd "This could become a problem if the demon finds ways to re-produce...so we should get on this pronto." she suggested.

Hanzo proceeded to the park. He was ready to fight but he was unsure of the group he was with,"My life is in the hands of a vampire,turtles,and a werewolf." he thought

He reached the park and positioned himself behind Kylie. "Its only a matter of time" he said to himself quietly.

Michelangelo chuckled. He always found the banter between Raph and Randi amusing --- in large measure because the two of them were far more similar then either would ever admit.

This was also probably one of the reasons he was so close to both of them --- must be the kind of personalities he attracts. Opposites attract, I suppose. He though to himself.

He then noticed Kylie had begun leaving. "Deacon. Hanzo. If you guys don't mind, I'd like a few minutes alone with Raph and Randi. I'll meet up with you later at the park."

With that, he motioned for Raphael and Randi to follow him...

It was beyond Raph's comprehension of how they could have possibly determined that these creatures were demons and that there was more than one of them. All the murders were in manhanttan, and it wasn't that hard to get around New York... was it? At least he wasn't the only one who felt that way.

"Demons?" Randi scoffed as Raphael and she followed Mike, "Jumping the gun a little bit on what it is, aren't they?"

"And there bein hundred of em?" Raph concured. "We would've seen em' already?!"

"Not nessisarily..." Randi replied, "As you guys have proven, there are several places for one to hide." Then, as quickly as the topic was brought up, it was dropped and she turned her attention to Michelangelo.

"Yeah, based on what I've heard," he replied, "these guys don't actually seem to have any reason to believe the killer is a demon --- or anything other than wacked-out human, for that matter. Then again, its prolly best not to just discount anythin' out right...."

"The real reason I wanted you guys here is 'cuz I wanted someone on-hand that I knew I could trust. Somethin' doesn't quite sit right about all this, t'me."

Mike turned to Raph. "I know you got problems with vamps and lycans, bro, but just try and keep your cool until we can figure out what exactly's goin' on... there MAY be a chance that one of them is the killer, and we don't wanna play our hand until all the cards are on the table, y'know?"

"You could say that." Randi sneered, "Though that werewolf apparently had control over her shifting abilities, most that I've met don't. Two minds in one: Human and Beast, order and chaos, fetal fear and feral rage all at once..." Her voice darkened, "Being in the mind of a werewolf at the wrong time is enough to make anyone go insane."

"And what about the Vampire?!" Raph snarled, "Lemme guess, scar-..."

"Shut up! I'm not scared, I just want to protect what little sanity I have left!"

"Any one capable of committing such a crime is a suspect... this includes the unknown as well as the werewolf, the vampire, and that lizard." Randi explained, leaning against the wall. "And as such, we need to prepare accordingly... so yes, silver bullets and 'garlic laced' stakes would be of help...."

Kylie sat on a park bench. She yawned and stretched. Nothing is gonna show she decided in her mind, somewhere she still had doubts that this thing was demon the body was chewed on...demons don't eat people...do they? she thought.

Kylie heard the rustle of bushes down the path a ways. She leaned out from the bench "hanzo?" she questioned. no answer. "deacon?" once again no answer. she held her breath as a human stubled out of the brush.

Kylie cocked her head slightly. The figured smelled of blood and sickness "Sir? Are you ok?" she asked. The man moaned painfully and drug his feet. Kylie walked up to him "sir, do you need a doctor?" she asked him. She looked into his face, but his eyes were void of life.

Kylie backed away slowly, and the creature shuffled forward then made a lunge for her and sunk his teeth into her shoulder. Kylie tipped her head back and let out a painfilled howl. Kylie's eyes burned white as she began to transform.

Across town Damons ears swiveled in the direction of his sisters howl. "Kylie." he growled to himself.

Damon turned to the human male "love to stay and play, but i gotta jet!" He lept over the railing of the fire escape and landed on all fours "sionara." he shouted. As fast as his feet would carry him, Damon rushed in the direction of the howl.

Deacon lept from the Shadows and tackled the creature that was attacking Kylie, trying to pry him off.

The Humans teeth tore her flesh as it was wrentched to the side from Deacons tackle. Kylie let out a growl of rage and sunk her own teeth into the creature. It's blood filtered into her mouth. Sick blood. dieseased blood.

Kylie's wild instinct kicked in from the taste of blood. She grabbed the thing by the nape of the neck and ripped it from her shoulder, then tossed it. Kylie didn't pay attention to if Deacon was still attached, nothing mattered. Kylie roared angrily and started towards the human creature on the ground.

Damon was getting closer, quickly. He raced to the edge of the park, then stopped panting "somethings not right..." he muttered. Kylie's enraged roar confirmed his thoughts.

Deacon was flung with the creture. After landing he got up and started beating the creature. "This isn't no ****ing demon! He yelled!"

Kylie grabbed the creature by it's leg, lifted it off the ground, and brought it down with force. The thing made a sickning crunch when is connected with the cement. Kylie roared and pounced on the thing, she sunk her teeth into it's collar bone and listened to the gratifying crunch.

Damon burst from the trees "Kylie no!" The large gray wolf tackled her with such force that she lost her grip on the human. He pinned her to the ground "Kylie..." he shouted "Come back...stop this blood rage!" Damon pulled his silver dagger and pressed it to the black lycan's throat. The black wolf immediatly ceased it's strugle, recognising the scent and feel of silver.

Damon turned to face the voice, he scented the individual "Vampire." he growled. "I should have let her tear you limb from limb!" Damon said, still holding the black wolf down.

Hanzo could only look on as Kylie and Deacon fought the creature. When he reached there he heard yelling once again,looked like there was a new member in the party. "What's going on?" Hanzo asked

"This doesn't concern you!" Damon spat at Hanzo "Stay back and do not come any closer!" he threatened.

"Damon...they...friends..." Kylie panted. Damon Looked at his sister, then replaced his blade. "A vampire? and a...a...whatever the hell you are!" he glanced at Hanzo "Friends?"

Damon jumped to his feet and moved to the human's body, the creature tried to rise, and was rewarded with a quick decapititaion. Damon tossed the bloody head to the Vampire and scowled "It smells of the plauge." he said more to himself than anyone "We kill it by separating the head from the body."

Hanzo paid no attention to the new werewolf until he heard him say somethng about the plauge. "Wait,what type of plauge are you talking about?"

Damon looked at the two "Zombies?" he chuckled "No...the plauge is worse...it does not damage or liquidate the brain...it will eventually adapt and allow the creatures to use weapons." He twirled his blade "If there is one...there is more...the plague spreads quickly among people."

"Since when do you becom an expert on the plague, brother?" Kylie asked from behind him "Since when did you become a fighter, dear sister?"Damon said "and if they are your friends, why didn't you tell them about your little proble?" Kyl;ie winced at Damon's words.

Kylies wound wasn't healing normally, something in the plagued creatures saliva kept the wound oozing. "Damon is the last of his kind...Hanzo my brother has every reason to hate humans." she tried to explain

STOP IT!" Kylie growled "times have changed Damon...we need to change as well, if we don't adapt, then our kind will be gone forever!"

Damon looked down into his sisters pleading eyes "Kylie...." there was a long pause "I don't want to loose you to humans...I've already lost a mate and pups to humans." he whispered in her ear

"I know..." Kylie said. "I will be fine as long as i taste no human blood." she assured him.

Hanzo went for his ninjato when Damon neared,he let the two talk and then said "Are you in or out?"

"heh heh...actually...there were three i do believe." Kylie said her ears folded submissively to the sides of her head.

Kylie sighed "Don't think he doesn't care about the innocents either, if he didn't, he wouldn't have save you and many others tonite..."

"Well im going to cover the 6th St. area,i have something i must do there." Hanzo said. "We'll meet back here in an hour."

Hanzo darted towards the nearest building and lept on the roof. He jumped from roof to roof until he was no longer visible from the park. "I hope they're alright he thought."

Michelangelo had made his way near the park. He wasn't sure if Raph and Randi were still following. At the moment, he was making his way through some thick bushes...

"Dammit! I hope that stupid lycan didn't get herself killed.." Although Mike didn't outwardly show it, he was a bit worried about Kylie. He knew that, despite here apparent proclinations, she was basically a good soul.

Suddenly, Mike came upon another figure in the bushes. It appeared to be another werewolf. It was Damon.

Mike drew his nunchaku and grimaced. "Hey!! Where's Kylie?! What have you done with here?!"

Damon stood his full height and crossed his arms "Don't tempt me turtle...I'd hate to dissapoint Kylie, by killing you." he growled

"If anything instead of trying to pick fights you should be grateful of my pressence...." Damon showed no fear of the new arrival, he seemed only in defensive mode.

Damon Nodded slightly. "In a way...I come from a long proud line of what humans called Tames...we learned to control our shifts and wolf cravings..."

Damon unfolded his arms "Kylie is half Lunar wild, and half Tamed...she can control her shifts, but unfortunately when she ingests or even gets the taste of human blood, it drives her wild side out." his ears swiveled as he spoke, listening for anymore of the plagued creatures.

Hanzo had made his way to the 6th St. sewers where him and his students had made a temporary residence. When he got into their lair he noticed it was quiet,to quiet. He tore a note off the wall that said in Japanese "Return to Osaka,city is overrun. 4 of us left." Hanzo stomach sunk when he read the last sentence,he knew exactly what it meant. He could only hope the others would make it back.

Suddenly,Hanzo heard an erie noise coming from the back part of the sewer,he drew his sword and continued on. When he came to the back he found one of his students killers. The creature advanced toward Hanzo, but with a quick slash the creatures head slowly slid off. "I have to get back to the park" he said to himself.

Hanzo reached the exit to the sewer,when he climbed out he was greeted by atleast 15 of the creatures. He started attacking with his sword,the street was eventually became a river of blood as the creatures kept coming at Hanzo by the dozen. He fought off as many as he could until he decided it was futile. He scaled the nearest buliding and started leaping from rooftop to rooftop.

He could finally see the park,he lept off the final building and landed on his feet,sword in hand. He dashed towards the group at a lightning pace. After what seemed to be an eternity of running he reached them,out of breath he said "We...must...re-locate,they're all over the 6th Street and i've seen them as close as Elm...and they're coming this way."

Randi had heard the conversation. But why worry about Kylie of she was right there? She was good enough shot and could take care of a number of them in a small amount of time. "Adapt? What are they? the Borg of the Zombie world?!"

"Borg?" Damon cocked his head slightly, not quite understanding what the female had ment. "The plague uses the brain, instead of just disposing of it...as it acesses memories or thoughts, it uses them..." Damon glanced at the human corpse and snorted.

In that case, we need to take care of them as quickly and as effectively as we can -- this can't be a guerilla (sp) war." Already Randi was thinking up a few ideas. "Until we think of such ways, we need to get moving, as the lizard said, they're coming."
