Ok, so Kevin isnt involved with the turtles anymore, blah, we all know that. But how does he react when fans come over and flock his booth for turtle autographs and tmnt questions, when he's really there to try and promote Heavy Metal?
I dont plan on having him sign a huge run of comics or anything or ask him a 1,000 questions, but I would like to get about a dozen things or so signed, and if possible a sketch.
I mean if you look at it from his point of view, yes he has the sucess of the turtles to thank for, which gave him nice finacial means, and connections, but something being as huge as it was/is, you cant escape it, good or bad. I mean it probably has gotten in the way of his personal life, etc. And he's tried to do many other things besides the turtles, but hardly anyone (perhaps besides Heavy Metal fans) would talk to him too much about his other work. There's not a huge "Melting Pot" forum like here, I would think that years later, he would hope to try and get away from the tmnt world (at least so pubically) but cant.
I dont know what his reasonings were for deciding not to play an active role in the TMNT universe, but i'm sure what I suggested above may have something to do with it?

Are there a lot of turtle fans at his booth every year?

You need not worry, Kevin is always more than happy to talk Turtles. And he's also more than happy to sign anything you want signed and he seems to be constantly drawing things, so that's no problem either. He's not officially involved with the Turtles anymore, but he has not cast them out of his life.

You'll be able to find him at the Heavy Metal booth. And more than likely they'll be selling his TMNT Artobiography (which if you don't already, is a MUST have).

While most of them don't post here, the group I'll be attending with are all past and present members of TMNT-L (http://www.ninjaturtlesnetwork.com/forums/ikonboard.cgi?s=643ef273644eb00a64e7ce6569373e73;a ct=SF;f=8). The size of our group varies every year (being rather small last year to being the biggest ever this year) and the people who work at the Heavy Metal booth recognize us as "Kevin's Posse." :D

I'm assuming then that you'll be at the con. Check your PMs... I'll feed you some more info.

THanks for the info! :)

What are PM's?
If you know of a certain day/time you'll be at the heavy metal booth, I can plan on being there. I'm pretty excited about seeing kevin, if I can focus, I want to make him my 1st booth, i'm still deciding if that will be during preview night or the next morning. :P

So many comics/creators, so little time!

Does anyone know if Kevin ever goes to Wizard World Chicago convention ? I am going this year since I live about 45mins-1hr. away from Chicago.

I dont think so. I've been to Chicago a couple of times, and no Heavy Metal Booth, and or Kevin, or Peter for that matter.
When I first brought my #1 I asked around on the boards where I can find Peter and Kevin and the responses given to me were:

Kevin: No longer with the TMNT, he works on the publication "Heavy Metal". He lives in CA, and to my knowledge, he only makes it to the San Diego Con.

Peter: Still with Mirage, but being busy at the studios, esp now with his involvement with the new cartoon, he doesn't migrate west at all. The Mirage crew are in MA, but every year they go to the Philly Con. (>I asked if they were going this year, since I noticed they weren't on the guest list, and they didn't even know the answer, it turns out they were there.)
On the website, it says they plan on going to Toronto. They are the only 2 cons i've heard of Peter and the Mirage crew attending.
