Hiya guys! :D

I'm new here and don't really know where to put a question like this, but I hope it's okay to put it here. Ready? Here we go:

Right after the first TMNT motion picture they made a documentary, namely the Making of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Behind the Shells. I'm really keen on getting my hands on a copy of this documentary, but the problem is that the only copies I've found are US VHS, and not viewable in region 2 countries. Norway, my home, is one of these countries.

Suggestions? I would appreciate some assistance here, so if anyone has any suggestions, any at all, I'm all ears.

Thanks in advance! :)

Hee hee. Thanks! I've been told it has a startling resemblance to me... I'm not sure it was meant as a compliment, but I'll take it as such anyway! :D

If i'm thinking about the right one, i own it. In all honesty, its not that great. It has a very kiddish feel to it, consistantly cutting back to 5 -7 year olds shouting out Cowabunga! or Turtle Power!. And it doesnt really elaborate much on the first film. It's pretty much focused on the second.

Hope this can help :)

Yeah, I've found several copies on ebay, but they are US VHS, and not viewable in region 2 countries! And since I live in one of these region 2 countries, I'd have to buy an American TV as well as an American VCR to view it.

The ideal solution would be if there was a good Samaritan out there somewhere who'd be willing to make it into an .avi-file or something that I could download ... but I don't really know it it's even possible...

Is this the same thing that was shown on Showtime with the charities and interviews? They called it the TMNT Spectacular. Was it the same thing? Just wondering because I have that on tape.

I'm not sure. I haven't seen any of them, so I have no way of knowing. But if it's not the same it just got added to my wish list! :)

I dont think it's that great, yer not missin a whole lot...it spends 15 minutes blabbing about the damn fandom and they show all these litle kids going cowabunga all the time...it gets annoying

the good stuff, they just don't focus on enough...the REAL behind the scenes stuff

Yeah. They talk about saving the rain forest and the environment. Then they interview kids who say which turtle is their favorite. Then they go into the history of the merchandise and a karate display with guys dressed up as Foot Soldiers. It's pretty boring except for the actual behind the scenes stuff where the actors are interviewed and the animatronics are displayed. That's about it. It was a sneak peek on TMNT 2 with alot of filler.
