Just wondering. And if they did kill someone, do you think it was justified?
Well, in the comics the turtles killed Shredder, a load of Triceratons, foot soldiers, Baxter Stockman (Donnie did this one himself), Fugitoid (Raph did this in his bestial form and so was unaware of what he was doing), The mammal spirit, purple dragon gang members. Any others?
Everytime the TMNT kill someone, it's for a pretty damn good reason. Just ask Raph. :D

That's in the new Mirage TMNT comics. In the current comics Raph got bit by vampires and is turning into a hell of turtle monster... like.. Tokka on crack. He killed Fugitoid and in the upcoming issue he'd gonna duke it out with Leatherhead.

Yeah. They have taken many lives, defeated many threats. And under the circumstances, most of theose deaths were unavoidible. like the demons that wanted to munch them in the Juliet Romero story.

Thanks for the info guys. I guess considering the situations they have no choice. That Raph vs. Leatherhead fight should be promising.

That about nails it. And yes, I believe they were mostly justified.

Aw I like Fugitoid :( He better not kill Leatherhead hes my favorite Ninja Turtles character of all time and I was ticked of when they killed him in Terracide stupid Null and his stupid robot goons. The worst thing about it is Leathhead was the only Muti-mamial that wasnt in the giant picture of them all dieing! I was like WTF!!!
Sorry for ruining it for you, but that issue came out four months ago. I would have assumed that anyone who wanted to read the issue would have done so by now.

I don't think Fugitoid is dead though. Remember, he's an android so I'm sure he can be repaired.

I agree. Also, I don't think Laird would kill off Fugitoid in such a stupid manner.

Oh, well the issue where Leatherhead fought Raph hasn't come out yet, either.

There was 1 episode in season 7 of the old series where Donny had a bad side and he was going to kill Shredder but his brothers prevented him and Donny let his dark side disappear.

Another example of raph killing is in the bodycount mini. in it he gets fed up with all the gunplay so he uses their rules and guns everybody down. he realizes later though that he made the wrong choice

I've made a body count from TMNT's New Cartoon. All characters are considered dead (by me) until proven alive next season:
Johnny, Purple Dragon Leader - Things Change
Triceraton Warrior - Turtles in Space (One that crashed into a rock)
Leatherhead - What a Croc
Zog - Rogue in the House pt 2
All I can think of right now. None of those deaths were caused by the turtles though except the Triceraton who went after them on that X thing in space.

Leatherhead is clearly not dead, as someone said a while ago, he's been confirmed for season 3.... he could get killed off then, who knows.

I've heard that too, actually. But, as far as we know from only watching the show, Leatherhead is dead. As I stated above, these people will be considered dead by me until we see them alive on the show again.

We don't know if Raph killed Raptarr or whatever either
Raph has killed a lowly messenger man by accident, hehe...not sure if that's canon though (the cerebus story)

I have that comic, and Raphael doesn't kill him, Raphael knocks out the messenger (with his fist).

I have it too but I'm sure at one point cerebus says 'make sure you keep the messenger-killer quiet' so I assume he actually killed him. But yeah until then I thought he was just unconscious

You know, something about this has bugged me for a while. So clearly the TMNT have no problem killing people. Why, then, does Raph go in his "you can't just kill people" spiel in Raphael #1/"Meet Casey Jones"? Does he realize the truth in this statement, and that they make him a hypocrite? Or did he never truly believe what he was saying? Anyone? Heretic? Bueller?
As for the new show death count, I'd add...
1) The boat captain in the intro to "Junklantis"
2) The Foot Geneticists on "Notes From the Underground"
3) Hamato Yoshi
...to the definitely dead list, and tons of Foot , Junkies, Federat, and Triceratons to the "People the TMNT kill that we don't care about" list. So yeah, the Turtles kill in the new cartoon; we just don't see it.

I think Raph meant that you shouldn't kill people WHEN you DO have a choice. Casey did it out of anger and vengeance. Not exactly justice...unless you're a Ninja.
Believe it or not, Raphael does have some sense. I know; he's my brother. :D

Actually, that's not justice at all. Especially to a "ninja".
Killing goes against the Laws of Nature, which is the basis of the Ninja's belief system. Unless deemed absolutely necessary, that is.

Duh, how could I have forgotten those. I knew I was leaving some out.
I would have to say they killed some foot soilders and elete when they blew up the ship in rouge in the house part 2 and there is no evidience of leatherhead being dead. THEY KIND OF killed shredder, but the worms regenerated him. It is hard to say if they killed zog because his death was his choice.
