You really do know the way to my heart don't you?
Muchas gracias Azraelito! Me gusto mucho!
Oh man, that rocked! I'm a Jason and the Argonauts fan too. I've been giving my dad the skeleton figures for the holidays.
When I update Ossifiles tonight I'll add that to the links page... :D
BTW, anyone know what language "YMCA" is in?

when i first heard that version of YMCA last year, I was told it was in Japanese. I don't, however, trust my source.
As for the animation itself... my god. i almost peed myself. (and while it's no doubt funnier when you can "sing along", I don't think that was the only reason I was so thrilled...)
I want to do something half as clever as that when I grow up.
the world needs a "Skeletor does Karaoke" application. I'm just gonna be too busy laughing to write it...
thank you. my day is that much better.

Azraelito do you know in what language that song was in?
Cantonese...mandarin maybe?'Cause i couldn't understand a word of it... :-?
I can't understand a word of that song when it's sung in English. Well, I get YMCA, but that's about it.

Vietnamese, perhaps?
Nickokapo
10-16-2002, 09:12 PM
Yeah maybe it was vietnamese!
Or maybe not...We'll never know.
Oh, we'll never know...but that inspired me to make a dregg flash movie...if only i knew how to use flash lol :P but i'd have to re-download it so i guess i'll pass.
Oh and there's even a cameo for bony and berk from the trap door, lol.

*gasp*
Really?! It's all the rage at the local arcades here! I LOVE playing DDR... Granted, I'm not very good at it. But I love it nonetheless! :anime: DDR is short for Dance Dance Revolution. One of the best games every created... And I think it was one of Konami's most creative ideas.

Well domo arigato, mr.kame :P
And i agree, DDR is one of the best best games ever :D
I should get a pad and play it the way it was meant to be, tho... :ohwell:
azure turtle
10-17-2002, 10:09 PM
LOL!! Nicko, don't tell me you play with the controller! :embarass: I've got the game at home, and I made sure to buy a dance pad for it. I still like playing the arcade versions more, though.
Nickokapo
10-17-2002, 10:16 PM
I used to.. :embarass: but it was boring, and since there was no arcades near my home i stopped playing :ohwell:
The only pads i could find were ones that were called ritmomania or something like that...it came with its own cheap-o 8-bit system so i dont think you could also use it with a psx/pc...
I saw the commercial in tv and the music really sucked so i didn't got one of those :blanksta:
But since there are internet stores i guess i could buy a psx pad from there, buy an adapter to plug it in the pc and use it with dwi :D
'Till then ill just listen to the soundtracks...my fave ones are 5th mix, max and max 2.
Hmmmmm...I wonder how many of those 8-bit DDRs were sold :sweatdrop

8-bit DDRs?? That's weird... Never heard of them. I really liked the music in the 3rd mix. :anime: Good luck getting the dance pad! DDR is a lot more fun when you get to use your feet. ;)

I think they were only sold in argentina...I found one here called "crazy dance" which is probably the same ddr ripoff as ritmomania

Crazy Dance?! Woah, how weird... I wish I could see screen shots. I'm interested in what an 8 bit version would look like.
Nickokapo
10-18-2002, 06:38 PM
Screenshots..hmm well the search engines don't come up with much results, but i'm guessing it looks like the gameboy ddr, since gameboy's 8-bit (yes, there are gameboy ddrs...i don't see the point of it tho, 'cause you can't use a pad and even if you could, screen is too small :P )
Here are some screenshots of ddrgb:

Yup yup!
It's pretty much like a NES ddr with lower resolution and no pad :P
Oh and the crazy dance thing is probably a nes with a special controller/game
bleh.

That must be wierd. They must've ysed 1 of those mat pads like you see for the track & field game fer the NES. PS: Which sys had the lowest graphics setting/ bit setting, NES or 1st gameboy?

PS: Which sys had the lowest graphics setting/ bit setting, NES or 1st gameboy?
I'd say the 1st gameboy, because of the bad resolution due to the small screensize.
Plus the nes had color and the old gameboy was only black and white :P
