Ok has anyone noticed how Dregg DIED in 2 episodes?

First of all "The Day The Earth Disappeared" The ship got destroyed by a black hole so he would have died!

Then "Divide and Conquer" Krang's android body was going to explode and Don and Mike pushed Dregg into a portal with the body.

So exactly HOW could Dregg die twice? Did he really die one of those or what? I was soo confused!

In the day the earth disappeared the did not show anything happen to dregg when the ship got destroyed, they just showed the outside of the ship as he was screaming no(From what I remember). he could have teleported himself out.

I CANNOT ANSWER YOU FOR DIVIDE AND CONQUER SINCE I NEVER SAW THE EP.

True True...just the ship was falling apart because it got too close to the black hole. But I mean..a lot of the times it shows him like he's dead and he's not! LOL

They didnt air "The Day The Earth Disappeared" so even if it looked like he died he didnt anyways. And Divide and Conquer was the last episode of the show so he can die all he wants in taht episode. What Im wondering is what happend to Shredder and Krang in the old show. I mean what was the last episode they were in and did they die or what? I was just wondering because I never really watched that season of the show

-->> i don't think it was ever clear what happened to Krang and Shredder..

..It did look like Dregg died tho.. as don and the TMNTs had pushed Krang's body and Dregg into that vortex thing.. you heard like a boom and screwming..

..if Krang and Shredder did come back.. i'm pretty sure they would have got a chilly reception so i figure they just gave up conquoring the world and went out for that 'ICED CREAM'..

Shredder and Krang were trapped in Dimension X at the conclusion of "Turtle Trek", the Technodrome was also ripped apart by a Sarlac Pit wannabe after the Turtles destroyed it's engines.

Dregg rescued Shredder and Krang from Dimnesion X during the Tenth Season (the five part "Turtles to the Second Power"), after the Turtles from the past and present defeated him, Krang and Shredder were sent back to Dimension X alongside Dregg.

I saw that scene several times to be sure, and he could not have survived nor teleported, since the Turtles used the portal right before he did, and he jumped too late on an ineffective portal (that reminds me of an episode in the new show..)
After that he started to scream, and it took 2 seconds for the ship to explode meaning that there is no way he could have escaped..

But this "death" is better than in Divide and Conquer, I must say, since there was acutally suspense and tension, with Dregg saying, as the ship was aiming to the black hole: "At least I'll have the satisfaction of knowing I took you with me!"

I realize that its hard to know how dregg survived. This is just like the utrom shredder surviving the implosion.

Yes they did air this episode, they aired all of them, but Divide and Conqure is really did die, since the turtles became full ninjas, I guess I can make a clip if it, but not anytime soon, I am busy making clips of Big Brawl saga!!

The last time I saw the Shredder was in the episode where he was working for Dregg not by choice but he escaped so I dunno what happened to him and Krang. I think they were still lurking around somewhere. Though the spotlight was always on Dregg for episodes after that.

Dregg was turned into a fly by the Neutrinos and eaten by a giant spider from Dimension X. Mung was mutilated by Shredder. The rest of Dregg's troops were massacred by Krang's rock soldiers.

Jeez, Shredder spent the rest of his life trapped in Dimension X? Wonder what that was like.

Rocksteady: So what do ya want to do tonight, Shredder?

Shredder: Same thing we do every night. NOTHING.

Rocksteady: Yeah, this dimension sucks.

Well, it's weird. According to the Neutrinos Dimension X is a technically advance universe, where people play astro-pinball and drive flying hotrods around futuristic cities.

But all we ever got to see were floating rocks.

KROW

That's the same thing with Apokolips in the DC universe. High-tech world in a desolate dimension. I think that can be said about Dimension X.

Kazari

Whatever happened to the Neutrinos? I mean there were a lot of them supposedly almost like a city.

KROW

Who cares? The Neutrinos were annoying. I like to think they were killed in battle by Krang and his rock soldiers. Why the hell they didn't leave Dimension X permanently is beyond me. So what if it's their home? Doesn't mean they had to stay there. Who would want to live in a place where the sky is always red and filled with smoke?

Kazari
08-01-2004, 05:54 PM
oh lol I was just wondering! I couldn't stand them at all!! I loved General Traag though.

What is funny is that the Turtles never SOLVED the problem, they just got rid of it by sending Shredder and Krang to another dimension or in a horrible place.

It is true that they corrected their mistakes by destroying the Technodrome, but Krang and Shredder remain loose in Dimension X.. That means they still have the brains and the strengh to come back, starting with conquering Dimension X.

Kazari
08-01-2004, 06:17 PM
So true. It just depends how much firepower they ahve in Dimension X. I mean how many rock soldiers can Krang have?

DrSpengler
08-01-2004, 06:41 PM
In regards to the Rock Soldiers, apparantly he has a lot. An entire army's worth that's capable of waging a successful war on a DIMENSION. Not just a planet or a galaxy but an entire dimension!

The Neutrinos were looked at as pacafists, fence-sitters that refused to choose a side. When they first appeared they were a bunch of annoying little twerps that didn't care about anyone but themselves. At the end of their premiere episode they say they have to go back to Dimension X to fight the war against Krang. So apparantly they chose a side. Wouldn't that mean they're no longer Neutrinos since they aren't neutral any more? I don't remember the other episodes they were in, but I doubt their characters had developed any further.

Krang apparantly had a stranglehold on Dimension X with his Rock Soldiers. Why else would he waste time trying to conquer a back-water planet like Earth?

Well, at first Krang appeared like he was being held captive by Shredder. He had been removed from his body and banished to another dimension. He had to beg Shredder to build him a new body and Shredder constantly ignored his pleas. For that brief period of time he took orders from Shredder. Then he got his body and took control, effectively making Shredder his b*tch (exactly what Shredder feared would happen if he built Krang a body). When he got back to Dimension X at the end of season 1 he seemed genuinely happy and thrilled that he could finally finish conquering his home dimension. In season 2 he didn't seem to to give a crap about Earth. He sent Shredder there all on his lonesome to deal with the turtles, the whole thing was beneath him. Then later on he decided to focus all his attention on Earth.

I think at that point the only reason he kept focusing so much time on Earth was because he hated the TMNT. He had a huge ego and the TMNT defeated him on a weekly basis, usually in the most embarassing ways. He probably thought "I'll just put my hostile take-over of Dimension X on the backburner while I deal with those four turtles. I mean, how long can that take?"

I think by the time he got banished to Dimension X for good and the Technodrome destroyed he had pretty much lost his war over there. He spent so much time trying to kill 4 turtles that he didn't even over see the conquering of his home dimension. What good is an army if it doesn't have a commander in chief to give it orders for the better part of a f*cking decade?

Jeez, this post was longer than I thought it'd be.

KROW

Very good points. The Neutrinos were most likely killed. How many lasers would it take to destroy all those rock soldiers? Too many that they had equipped on those flying cars, that's for sure.

Well, in Four Turtles and a Baby, we see the Neutrinos fighting General Traag's army in Dimension X

Actually I don't think that Krang really hates the TMNT (anyway not as much as Shredder does). I recall many times in the series when SHredder was upset about the Turtles and wanted to destroy them, and Krang saying "oh forget it" and stuff like that. He was quiete practical, except when he was in a giant robot.
A thing ironic about Krang is that he actually saved the TMNT in the first season, and thus everything that happened throughout the following years was because of him.

Not very logical for a talking brain, now is it?

DrSpengler
08-01-2004, 08:17 PM
Well, Krang helped the TMNT in "A Thing About Rats" because it was the only way he'd get himself a body. So I guess at the time it seemed like a good idea. In the end he just got his body destroyed by Dregg anyway.

Didn't he get rid of his android body toward the end of the series and replace it with a bubble-walker?

I guess Krang finally looked in the mirror.

"I look like that? Oh crap, get me outta this thing!"

Kazari

Yeah he was in the bubble walker all the way up to Red Sky
