Hello all, been gone for a logn time haven't I? ^.^; Well, I just got back form my vacation, and while on my trip I stopped at an antique store which had like EVERYTHING in it, it was really awesome. They had a huge stack of comics, which I went through and pulled all the TMNT ones I could find. Got em all for about $1-$2 each, check this out-
Archie TMNT Comics-
67- Moon Eyes Saga Part One of Four
62- Cyber Turtles Part One of Five
56- Terracide Part Two of Three
53- The Animus War Part One of Two
13 (August)
12 (July)
TMNT1 Movie Adaptation
Special- Fall 1993 Doomsday Hassle in Banshee Castle
Special- Fall 1994 Fox Trap!
Mutant Universe Sourcebook No.3 (March)
And the one comic I was really impressed about finding in almost perfect condition-
Eastman & Liard TMNT No.9, September 1986
Whatcha think? I think I got a pretty good deal. After reading all of them though, I really wanna find more TMNT issues to read. I used to have most when I was little but gave em all away (kicking myself for it now). Anyone know where to find them other then Ebay? Do you think the Ish No.9 is worth anything? It is rather old for a TMNT comic I suppose...

would have been a better deal if you actually got full arcs and not just parts of each one. I own most of the ones you got but Im not sure what I paid for them. Still a good find none the less. Im not sure if TMNT 9 is worth anything I mean you only paid 2 bucks for it right?

TMNT #9 is a pretty good issue imo, I enjoyed it a lot actually... I dont really care how much my comics are worth I just like reading them and learnnig more about the TMNT's history. Plus theres some pretty nice stories.
lol btw good find, I normally get mine for $3.00 CDN pricing on average although some range as high as $8.00 I think I paid something like that for TMNT # 6 but most can be found for $3.00 or less.... $1.00 US is pretty good imo.

Nice find. Cool a sourcebook, I haven't found those yet.
I love little finds like this! I was in a charity shop when on holidays in Wales, and got 10 British turtles comics for £1! Then when I was on holidays in Northern Ireland, I found a load of Archies, 40p each. I bought 15, all they had. I have 130 Turtles comics now, and I have never spent more than €6 on any issues. What is the most expensive issue anyone here has ever bought?
By the way, when I was on holidays in America I found the "Donatello" one-shot for $1.75. Later on in that trip, I saw it somewhere else for £10. I would have been ripped off!

Try Mile High Comics at www.milehighcomics.com (MY personal fave!) . Or Westfield Comics, addy www.westfieldcomics.com . They both usually have TONS of back issues on anything you could possibly want. Also, I recommend you get an issue of the Comic Buyer's Guide magazine if you can find it in your area. There are usually ads in it for comic shops and such that carry back-issues, as well as new ones.
And, needless to say, try comic shops in your area, flea markets, used book stores, other antique shops; etc. Sometimes it even pays to check out garage and yard sales. I've found some good buys there, and the comics were usually in pretty good condition. Don't leave any stone unturned in your search; I never do! :twink:
Good hunting to you!!!

way to go! The best thing I found outside of a comic con or ebay is an action figure of the Rat King.
