They maybe will when the new show is a success, IT WILL BE A SUCCESS, if you think it won't be then it wont', so think it will be and it will. Everyone post and say it will be a success so that we give support to the new show!

I guess I am just growing a little frustrated, that's all. With all the crap that it on TV and on DVD, why they can't put something out there as worthwhile as the Ninja Turtles cartoon doesn't make sense to me.

Might be the fact that even the creator of TMNT said he thinks the show is boring... I must say that season 4 really was but now watching season 6 im begining to have fate again.

Yes, I liked Season 4 also. Of course, as it's been well documented by now, I like the light-hearted goofiness of the show. Once the show started taking itself too seriously, like Season 8, it sort of turned me off.

I thought David Wise was one of the better writers of the show. But a lot of what he did in 1993 was repetitive. It was a lot of stories about aliens and going to other worlds.

Since when did the show become science fiction? It just seemed that, it this point, Wise was really digging deep for ideas.

There may have been a little science fiction, but in 1993 there was more than usual.
And during Seasons 9 and 10, it was full-blown science fiction. I don't think there's anything wrong with that genre; it's just not my cup of tea. I don't think it fits well with the Turtles' personalities.

I guess what I meant by science fiction is the fact that Dregg came off as more Sci-Fi than Shredder and Krang. I don't know how to explain this better.

Krang and Shredder were hip, and they were a little bit of science fiction. But the Dregg episodes (and some of David Wise's episodes in 1993) were shades of science fiction. There seemed to be a lot of alien stuff going on in 1993: there was the Starchild and the Triceratons and the convicts from Dimension X. It seemed like the Turtles went to Dimension X a lot that season, as slave laborers, or they were traveling to other alien worlds with Kerma. In earlier seasons, the Turtles pretty much stayed on Earth. That is what I mean by science fiction. It's got that whole outer-space element to it.

Same thing with the Dregg episodes in 1995-96. You've got different mutations, the Dreggnaut, all of Dregg's Technogangsters and Batmen. Then Dimension X was brought back in 1996, and there was also some serious science fiction time travel by bouncing messages off stars and giving life-energy transfusions all over the place.

It was too "spacey" and "alien-like" for my tastes. I hope that makes sense.

so tell me....... you are alarmed that a show that had four beings transformed with an alien mutagen into humanoid bestials, had an alien warlord from another dimension that had his body taken from him, that same alien which used to drive around in a sophisticated armored headquarters underground with portals to other dimensions, which involved 'stone warriors' and 'rock soldiers', had 'retromutagen ray guns', had a mad scientist genetically fused with a house fly due to a 'disintegration chamber' malfucntioned........ you are alarmed because said show BEGAN to incorporate sci-fi????
