Fox Kids UK airing the Power Rangers Crossover tonight

Fox Kids UK are airing the Ninja Turtles/Power Rangers crossover episodes tonight. This will probably be last chance to see this episode in the UK until 2005 at the earliest (since it's takes ages to cycle though 500 episodes of reruns).

Times are as follows:

00:00 Power Rangers In Space (Save Our Ship) - Turtles appear at the end.
00:30 Power Rangers In Space (Shell Shocked) - main Turtles episode

Then a rerun:

04:30 Power Rangers In Space (Save Our Ship)
05:00 Power Rangers In Space (Shell Shocked)

Remember this is for UK viewers and is not to be confused with the other thread which is about the US airing.

wait was that a dino thunder ep? if so gahh! i fell back alseep on sat right b4 it came on and i missed it. and if its an older PR series i dont remember it. but now i wanna see it/

anyways back on topic i bel;ive either next week or some time soon the US will air the crossover episode w/ several other crossover PR eps or what ever. i barely rem,ember a commercial for it during my few times i woke up to see what was playing on sat morning. i liked the ep but my big beef about it was they didnt have the voice actos fro the TMNT show. they had the the costumes but not the same voice actors!!! it ruined it just a bit.

Agreed. I watched the first and second seasons of it, but after that, it just got ridiculous.

As Zarius mentioned the picture he posted was from this weeks new episode of Power Rangers (aired exactly 11 years since the first ever PR episode was aired !) where Tommy has to face (or fight) his past. Best Power Rangers episode in years.....

Anyway back on topic:

I made another thread about the Turtles Crossover airing in the US but it lost the vote and will sadly not be airing in the US anytime soon.
The reason they changed the Ninja Turtles voices from the Next Mutation ones to different ones in PR is because Next Mutation was filmed in Canada and PR was filmed in the US and there are different unions etc.
The Ninja Turtles team up wasn't that bad, it's a shame there wasn't an actual fight between the Turtles and Power Rangers but seeing them working together was cool. Worst bit was that they had to put 'the 5th turtle' in the episode but I guess they needed Venus so the Turtle/Ranger count matched.

I used to watch the Power Rangers as a kid, and although i have grown out of it (I'm 19 now), I would like to see that episode where Tommy fights his three past selves. I love the way they don't forget occurrences from years ago, even if the majority of the viewers don't know about Green Ranger/ White ranger etc.!

How are they saying it in a biased way? What's biased about it?

Do you really get offended if somebody else says it's ridiculous? I listen to music which my friends tell me they think is complete rubbish, but it doesn't bother me. Do you get offended if people insult your favourite music/ T.V. programmes, etc.?

I went through many different phases watching the Power Rangers when I was growing up...

I remember the very first Saturday morning when the very first Power Rangers episode ever aired on TV, and I watched it, and I absolutely LOVED it!! I continued to watch the other seasons underway.

Somewhere down the line, I started to hate the Power Rangers, for a reason that I cannot remember, actually. Then, when the Power Rangers movie came out, I went to go see it, and I LOVED it!! So, then I loved Power Rangers again. Then they started doing all of the new different stuff like Zeo and Ninja Rangers and stuff and I simply lost interest at that point.

I've always loved the TMNT, but for Power Rangers for some reason it just never stayed in my heart like the turtles did.

I gotta say though, I would LOVE to see the new Power Rangers episodes with the turtle cameos in them. That would be too much fun to see, and I can't miss that. Any idea when they air in the US? Or am I gonna have to buy the DVDs on ebay?? :P

I'm basically sticking with Super Sentai. I.E. the Japanese Power Rangers, I.E. original Power Rangers. Every power rangers made is from the Sentai from the year before in Japan. We started with Zyuranger, I.E. Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. Now we're on Arbaranger and going to Dekaranger. If I were you, you should give Sentai a try, it never seems to get old even after 28 years. Yeah, it's that old.

Japans version is much different. It's not one of those contenuing story series, it's a different story for each Sentai. Diffrences in Zyuranger to the U.S. Mighty Morphin Power Rangers are pretty big. One thing is that the Dragon Ranger (green ranger) is the brother of the Tyranno Ranger (Red Ranger). Also, he doesn't just lose his powers later in the series, he also dies! Also, the Yellow Ranger (Tiger Ranger) is a boy. His name is even Boi. Much different, and that's only a bit of the story.

Anyways, after MMPR I just didn't seem to like it anymore. I watched the show ocasionally but not as much. TMNT stuck with me alot better then after power rangers. Cause it was just getting to complex. But I don't want to get off topic here. Still, gotta see these episodes.

That's a matter of opinion, I love Sentai as much as you probably do, (Zyuranger , for some reason, I've barly seen ANY of) and I love Ohranger and Megaranger, but it's been sucking for two years straight

Yeah that's true. There are some that seem to suck. Dairanger had a pretty crappy theme song. I may want to see it but probaly won't like it much. The white ranger is an 8 year old kid for God sakes! I've seen all of Zyuranger, great series. It's about trust really, like a drama and thriller thing.
