TMNT II could have been better if Bebop and Rocksteady were in it instead of Tokka and Rahzar.

TMNT II could have been better if Casey Jones was in it.

TMNT II could have been better if the building was called TCRI instead of TGRI.

TMNT II could have been better if Prof. Jordan Perry was an Utrom.

TMNT II could have been better if Tatsu got a bigger ass-whoopin'.

TMNT II could have been better if Corey Feldman did Donnie's voice again.

And TMNT II could have been better if Vanilla Ice was replaced by Run DMC.

Personally, TMNT2 is my least favorite of the trilogy. I even liked 3 more.

It tried way too hard to be like the cartoon. And the humour simply wasn't very funny. Tokka and Rahzar, who could've been cool, were wasted by being turned into "babies" solely for the sake of humour. Just not funny. Plus they just dropped Casey. I'd have liked him to have stuck around, he was a much better supporting character than Kino.

And there's no excuse for Vanilla Ice.

Not only would it had been better without Vanilla Ice, but also replacing him with No body. That whole part of the movie was suppost to be funny, but really just ended up bringing it down....

Although....I have to admit. "Go ninja, Go ninja, Go" is one of the most popular things amoung ninja turtle movies when it comes to Non TMNT fans or non obsessed ninja turtle fans..heh... So obviously it made an Impact...feh.

I would have liked to have seen Bebop and Rocksteady in one of the movies as well as a few other characters.

I liked Kino. I thought he was a cool character... a pizza boy who could fight like a ninja. I wanted to be just like him when I was a kid and I first saw the movie lol. :D

I do wish that they had brought back the original April O'Neil though. I thought she did a great job as April in the first movie. The new April just didn't fit the bill, in my opinion.

Putting Casey Jones in the 2nd movie would've been cool, but I think it would've been in the way of introducing Kino as a supporting character. I loved the way Elias Koteas, who is one of my favorite actors, brought Casey Jones to life in the first movie. Nobody else could've done such a great job with that character.

One thing that kinda bothered me though was the way that they never explain what happened between Casey and April. At the end of the first movie they were kissing each other, and supposedly they were going to be together, but in the 2nd movie they just totally ignored what happened between them. They should've at least mentioned something, like one of the turtles saying "Where's Casey?" and April replies with "Oh, he's in Belgum, visiting friends." or something, but oh well.

Another thing that sort of bugged me about the first movie was when the turtles confront Super Shredder at the very end of the movie. They NEVER fought each other! Super Shredder just crashes the docks and the turtles aren't even scratched. He went down way too easy. For a Super Shredder, he sure didn't prove himself. He should've been called Lamer Shredder.

Oh yeah, and the speaker box blowing Shredder outside of the night club? Ummm... right. Yeah, even the cartoon wouldn't have had something that cheesey. That was just pathetic... as if the writers ran out of ideas and just said "Hmm, let's just do what the kids would think is funny!"

Aside from it's sour points, TMNT 2 remains my 2nd favorite turtle movie. Don't even get me started on TMNT 3... ughh...

True. I only said that as an homage of sorts to the original Mirage comic. You could also say what difference does it make for them to change the letter in the first place. What for? Because the word "Global" sounds better?

I agree with NeoBix about the fact that there should've been a fight between Shredder and the Turtles and the boy could've used ther weapons. You know Donatello was the only turtle that used his weopon to actually hit someone. But anyway's see they shoud've not mutated shredder that was just plain stupid but instead they should've had the turtles fight Bebop and rocksteady on top of the dock. They defeat them then they fight normal Shredder. So forget about the whole going thru the window thing that was just plain dumb.

I've just been thinking about Bebop and rocksteady in the movie. Man can you imagine what they would've looked like I mean the job they did with the turtles think of how they could've made them. And if they did the whole Utrom thing with Professor Perry that would've looked creepy. First he would've unveiled the utrom then it would've been cool if he took off the skin suit I can just Imagine what Mike would say.

I read somewhere that in original cuts of the movie Tokka and Rahzar were portrayed as MUCH more fierce than what the final cut of the movie made them seem. The director favored comedy over action, and I think Tokka and Rahzar were cheated because of it. Just imagine how it could have been...

I was really disappointed that Bebop, Rocksteady and Krang never managed to make it into any of the movies. Because my TMNT fandom started with the old cartoon, I was completely unaware of the goings-on in the comic series until much later in my life, so I did become a little distressed with where the trilogy went with their plots. I mean, I'm happy with it now but back when I was a youngster I was very confused.

You guys are gonna think I'm freakin crazy for even bringing this up, but I actually heard this from somewhere a LONG time ago, back when TMNT 2 first came out. I can't even remember who told me this, but check this out...

Supposedly, Bebop and Rocksteady were going to be in TMNT 2 INSTEAD of Tokka and Rahzar. The costume designers apparently ran into complications with Bebop and Rocksteady's costume features because they were very elaborate and detailed, unlike the ninja turtles. The turtles were easier because there were 4 of them and they were all very similar, not to mention not as detailed as Bebop and Rocksteady.

When the costume designers were finished with the costumes, they showed them to the director and the producer, and they both thought that the suits looked so horrible that they would just be laughed at instead of taken seriously. Therefor, the costume designers were then assigned to alter both of the costumes. They changed Bebop (who supposedly looked more like a wolf than a warthog) into Rahzar, and they changed Rocksteady (who looked more like a snapping turtle than a rhino) into Tokka.

Parts of the script had been totally cut down and replaced with new stuff for Tokka and Rahzar. Bebop and Rocksteady were going to be stronger and more serious characters, but Tokka and Rahzar, who are babies in the movie, were the replacements, to gear the movie toward the younger audience members. It has actually been rumored, I've heard, that they had 2 actors picked out to play the street thugs who are fused with the warthog and rhino in the movie, but their contracts were released due to the new character concepts.

Now, is that weird, or is that WEIRD?

I love the movie, and actually the Vanilla Ice part is one of my favorite parts because I remember how popular Vanilla Ice was back then when that movie came out. Me and my older brother and all of his friends used to listen to Vanilla Ice. I know it sounds dorky, but that was pop culture back in the early 90s. Eminem wasn't even a whisper back then.

Popular??? Since when was he popular? He was never popular at my high school. He was never popular that's why he was put into the movie to jump start his lame ass career, which it never did and he flopped. He had to rip off the Queen/Bowie tune "Under Pressure" he couldn't do anything original.
Don't get me started on Eminem, he is sick and disgusting. Ice was nothing like that, at least he didn't have to stoop low and use language like Eminem.

Ralph Nader is a politician. I believe (and I could be wrong) he had alot to do with consumer products and the such... or something like that, lol. I'm terrible when it comes to politics...

And, I'm waiting for the flames here, but I really liked the second one. It's my favorite. Yeah, it's a bit too silly... But the costumes were much better than the first, which is what made 2 my favorite. Give me the seriousness of the first movie, with the costumes of the second, and I'd be really happy.

Ralph Nader was a consumer safety advocate, politician and annoyance. So the comment was pretty damn funny when I first heard it. Nader seems to always find some horribly unsafe thing with cars, i think he hates them. He ragged on classic VWs and Corvairs...sure they're not the world's safest, but they're not the worst.

The stuff about products being safe and all that is probably right too, but I was also thinking this...

Since Ralph Nader is a big green peace freak and when it comes to protecting the animals and trees and all of that, he would probably get really mad when he found out that TURTLES couldn't bust out of a net to keep themselves from being impaled on miscellaneous garden utensils.

Remember when you started dancin with that cute girl and she was like "Oooooh Benny I absolutely LOVE your white headband! *SMOOOOOOOOOCH*" and then you just keep dancin and you smack her on her butt and she's like "OOOOH BEN YEAH THAT'S THE STUFF!"

By the way guys, this was in the deleted scenes section of the DVD... you have to put in a secret code to unlock it. You can find the code on google if you look hard enough for it. My favourite part of TMNT II is the actress who plays April struggling to get out "Techno Global Research Industries" in the scene where she's interviewing Prof Perry.

Anyway, I get endless amusement from the fact Perry is played by the guy from Titanic. And from Vanilla Ice. Let's face it, credible rap groups don't do soundtracks to films aimed at audiences that young. I like TMNT2, but it's not 8 Mile, is it?

And leave Nader alone, whatever his faults the alternatives are grimmer.

Will you knock this crap off? Seriously, you've been trolling the forums for ages talking about nothing, posting old news, asking stupid questions, and insulting other members, you're not impressing anyone.

And learn to S-P-E-L-L

Jester, do NOT just stand there and let THIS loser insult you, he's nothing, I found that image pretty funny as well
