Sorry couldn't think of a better name for it.

Who were the origional creator/s for this program & if you are one of them, how did you come up with the idea?

Oh, you mean the site...

Well, wait for Krang and Shredder (those are their usernames) to reply to this...

Who were the origional creator/s for this program & if you are one of them, how did you come up with the idea?Shredder and I are the creators of this site (and these forums). We came up with the idea of a TMNT site after visiting other cartoon-based sites that existed at the time (such as Dimension X and KC and Samus's site) and participating in Yahoo clubs. Actually, this Thursday will be The Technodrome's 3rd anniversary!

KC..
Oh yah KC's Totaly Tubular TMNT Site! :D I loved that site...i wish it'd still be online.
I liked the card game the most :D i even emailed him and he was kind enough to mail me back and send me the cards i was missing :anime:
Anyways the technodrome's an awesome site...i'm doing my own site now but it's not complete yet :P
I don't think i've ever seen samus' site, or dimension x tho..

Spike The Xenomorph
10-29-2002, 12:12 PM
they have a tmnt card game?

Kameko
10-29-2002, 01:19 PM
:trolleye: Uh, no, dude, I don't think so. I could be wrong, but I've never seen one. And anymore, card games remind me too much of Pokemon and the various Pokemon rip-offs* (Yu-Gi-Oh, Card-Captors, etc).

*Digimon not included in that statement -- I do actually kinda like that one.

Spike The Xenomorph
10-29-2002, 01:28 PM
As long as the game plays kinda like Magic the Gathering, it's ok by me!

Kameko
10-29-2002, 01:31 PM
'Magic the Gathering'? Never heard of it.

Spike The Xenomorph
10-29-2002, 01:33 PM
It's fun!

Kameko
10-29-2002, 01:34 PM
 Never got much into the themed card games myself.

Spike The Xenomorph
10-29-2002, 01:39 PM
Is it THAT popular?

Kameko
10-29-2002, 01:42 PM
:-? I just meant that you've got the 'pokemon' card game, the 'digimon' card game, the 'magic the gathering' card game.... Just gimme an old fashioned poker deck and I'll be occupied for hours!

Spike The Xenomorph
10-29-2002, 01:47 PM
Yeah but old-fashioned card games can't entertain people for very long, not to be insulting or anything.

Skeletoncrew
10-29-2002, 01:48 PM
Yeah, I like regular card games too! But my friends and I use to play Magic: The Gathering. I have the distinct honor of being "Strip Magic Champion" amongst our little group.

Spike The Xenomorph
10-29-2002, 01:50 PM
You are sooooooo lucky!

I have only won 3 games in my entire life!

Skeletoncrew
10-29-2002, 01:54 PM
Well, I just played with 3 of my friends mostly. We'd play multiplayer. I didn't always win, but I was usually one of the last two left. It was a lot of fun.

Kali
10-29-2002, 01:54 PM
*shakes her head* I never even got a full deck for Magic: the Gathering. But I used to beat my brothers all the time with the beginners decks I got in my started kit.

Someone was trying to make a TMNT type card game like Magic, but he only managed a few cards and kinda dropped away.

"Strip Magic Champion"? No, I don't wanna know.

Spike The Xenomorph
10-29-2002, 01:57 PM
Strip Magic Champoin: There are Magic tournaments called Strip Tournaments for you could only use the deck that they give you to play with.

The cards had a funky border that put them apart from the other cards so people couldn't cheat for the cards with these borders are EXTREMELY hard to come by.

I hope that was what he was referring to, at least.

Skeletoncrew
10-29-2002, 01:58 PM
Strip Magic: Each player starts with 5 life points. When you run out, you can either lose the game, or turn in a piece of clothing for 5 more points.

Spike The Xenomorph
10-29-2002, 01:59 PM
Gross!

Skeletoncrew
10-29-2002, 02:01 PM
What? I played with one cute guy and two cute girls!

For that matter, I'M a cute girl too. My guy friend we played with was one lucky boy!

Spike The Xenomorph
10-29-2002, 02:02 PM
oh.

Kali
10-29-2002, 02:02 PM
I thought so, SC. See, I KNOW SC too well. LOL!

Spike The Xenomorph
10-29-2002, 02:03 PM
That is STILL wierd!

Skeletoncrew
10-29-2002, 02:07 PM
 Ahhh...the sweet sensation of knowing I've shocked someone!

We only played two or three times. I won every time, but it was darn close!

Spike The Xenomorph
10-29-2002, 02:13 PM
That is still too sick for words

Skeletoncrew
10-29-2002, 02:16 PM
Okay...so I didn't shock you. What about disturbed? Have I inserted a concept into your brain that you'd have never come up with on your own?

Spike The Xenomorph
10-29-2002, 02:17 PM
Not really, Xenomorphs don't get shocked easily, that's all.

Skeletoncrew
10-29-2002, 02:22 PM
Oh, okay. Neither do I.

Kali
10-29-2002, 02:25 PM
Well I do! At some things. Just saying it wasn't bad, but heaven help me if I ever had to watch or participate. *covers her head* I had to go through Sean's pics when they came through my mailbox. Talk about shocking.

Skeletoncrew
10-29-2002, 02:27 PM
:) That's all my fault! (Well, not the first one...but all of the subsequent ones...)

Hey, you didn't have to look at them.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I must watch the thrilling conclusion of Killer Condoms so I can return it to the rental place before I go to work.

Spike The Xenomorph
10-29-2002, 02:29 PM
Thank God I have no idea what you all are talking about.

Kameko
10-29-2002, 02:30 PM
...'killer condoms'...?

Spike The Xenomorph
10-29-2002, 02:33 PM
*In a joking way*
I didn't know you were the new side-kick for batman, kameko!

Kali
10-29-2002, 02:35 PM
Hey, you didn't have to look at them. *grumbles* The thumbnail preview was bad enough.

Yes, be very glad you have no idea what we're talking about Spike. *blinks* I'm not sure if you're even old enough TO know.

Spike The Xenomorph
10-29-2002, 02:39 PM
I'm 18, in human years!

Kali
10-29-2002, 02:40 PM
*raises eyebrows in shock* I guess you are old enough. But if Strip Magic shocked you, you still probably don't wanna know.

Spike The Xenomorph
10-29-2002, 02:42 PM
It didn't shock me but I just don't like hearing about that kind of stuff.

Kameko
10-29-2002, 02:42 PM
And yet he continues to come here... And what's up with the killer condoms, SC?

Spike The Xenomorph
10-29-2002, 02:43 PM
Yeah!

azure turtle
10-29-2002, 07:32 PM
Yer lair's cool!
Wow... Well thank you! I know it's not the coziest of places, but thanks for dropping by. LOL!! I see you've met SC... :D

Aww... I loved playing Magic. My cousins and I used to have battle royales with every person for his/herself. Often we'd play in a big group of six. The game ends up being long, but we had plenty of fun forming alliances and quickly breaking them.

Spike The Xenomorph
10-29-2002, 07:35 PM
By the way, Luv the ROBOTIC TURTLE!

azure turtle
10-29-2002, 07:38 PM
Thank you. :) That robotic turtle is eight months old. Would you believe it?

Spike The Xenomorph
10-29-2002, 07:44 PM
Cool!

Skeletoncrew
10-29-2002, 07:48 PM
And yet he continues to come here... And what's up with the killer condoms, SC?

Its a movie I rented. Killer Condom featuring living condoms that bite off..well...*ahem* Very cheesy, filmed in NYC, in German with English subtitles.

Spike The Xenomorph
10-29-2002, 07:49 PM
You are joking, aren't you?

Skeletoncrew
10-29-2002, 07:55 PM
Nope. Though I did joke as we were watching it that maybe it was Donatello unleashing them on the city! (Some of them came crawling up out of a sewer grate.)

Spike The Xenomorph
10-29-2002, 07:58 PM
hahaha!

Skeletoncrew
10-29-2002, 08:01 PM
Much to my suprise, H.R. Giger was listed as the creature consultant!

Spike The Xenomorph
10-29-2002, 08:05 PM
Who?

Skeletoncrew
10-30-2002, 01:33 AM
The artist who designed that lovely alien you use as a avatar Spike!

Spike The Xenomorph
