yes i got 3 dayes out of school because i don't have 2 go there for those 3 dayes im so happy :P i can play my PC all day and night :)

I've got tonight off so I can go to the Brian Froud booksigning...then I've got Halloween through the 3rd off so I can do everything my heart desires! Party, celebrate Dia De Los Muertos, meet Bruce Campbell again, maybe party some more...

The only reason I have these days off is because I requested them 3 months ago. Now that the holiday shopping season is nearly upon us, my rear is going to be worked off!

you got holiday :( we got half of us in the start of the year... then school(HELL) with no holidays and then some little holidys(some days)school(HELL) a big holiday(3 weeks) but it's near summer so... i reely hate israel :evil:

We don't celebrate haloween here in argentina but in 2 months or so we'll celebrate x-mas :D i love christmas!and most importantly, summer!It's the time of the year im always waiting :D
Hmmmm...donatello it's always school there?No winter vacations or anything? :ohwell:
At least you have a 3 week holiday :D here the winter vacations are like that, only like 2 weeks if i remember right.

Personally, I find it odd that even though when December hits in the Southern Hemisphere, it's summer. Frankly, I associate X-Mas with winter and snow and all that. After all, it DID originate in the British Isles (before the Christians took over the Celts, the Yule was what we consider X-Mas now. Debate with me later on this topic if you want.)

It's hard to explain but Christmas is something special. Of course it was special when iwas a kid and Santa Clause came with presents, but still today It feels good smehow. Peacefull would be one word to describe it.

Well i always associated christmas with summer and vacations...
So yeah it may have originated in the british isles but im not gonna celebrate christmas in the middle of june just for them or anything =P
Besides, i'm in argentina, not in britacensorland, it's not my fault they have winter in december there or whatever :P here it's summer, period :D
I guess i WOULD associate christmas with winter if i lived in one of those places where there's snow in december, but that's not the case...and i could not be happier about it ;) (i for one could not stand 3 seconds of sunshine per day in vacations)
But don't worry so much, in tv here at that time of the year most of the time there's always commercials and tv shows that are christmas specials and they usually have snow and stuff, so i kinda get the idea.

"Santa CLOSE" doesn't come ya genius, my parents just leave the gifts under the tree while im away :P well i used to believe santa was real but that was when i was very, very young...plus i don't think he'd need snow to come since he has his flying mega-thing.
I can imagine a christmas with snow, and i don't like it...it wouldn't be normal. =P

Portland doesn't normally get any snow. We just get rain. Fortunately this doesn't bother the US Postal Service or UPS...and they're the ones who bring me my gifts! :D (Such is life when your family lives all over the country.)
