I almost bought the PC version, but it's worthless to me without online, and now my 56K is going to dissappear for a few days. I want online.
Anyway, the game looks terifficly fun.

It's a great game, I played it a bit on PS2. Seems like it'd be made much better by online play.

This game is awesome online, getting a group of friends together and it's just pure mayhem. Although Xbox Live is much better and you get a better experience with more people in the game.

I was actually playing the Xbox version with my friend this week. Not online, but either way it's still tons of fun.

I playe both versions alot since my Dad has a Xbox and makes me play his. Their pretty much the same except the Xbox loads way faster. And on Xbox you use the black and white buttons to switch weapons which is kinda outa the way to me so I prefere the PS2 button layout because you just use the trigger buttons
I havnt got to play Xbox online yet how many people in a server? We get 16

I'm pretty sure it's 16. That's what most online games have. Xbox probably doesn't have more than PS2. I think JameO is basing that off the PS2 owners getting shafted with RS3.

Nope, I've been in a 20 man server and I am not sure if 22 is the limit? I am not sure but I have been in one that had 20 people.

Well I have personally never even seen a full 16 man server anyways. Plus most people online suck, atleast on PS2 not sure how Xbox is. And I dont mind 16 since its free to play online. I know you have to pay for Xbox Live so it only makes sense that they give you more people in a server

Is there much slow down during online play on the PS2 version? I've seen a couple PS2 games in action online and the lag is sometimes horrible to the point of being unable to play.

Ive played online tons of time and never had any slow down in this game. I think thats because its broadband only so no 56kers are allowed. I used to have the slow down alot on NFSU and Socom 2 unless I played with broadband people only. Which is rather hard to do actually so Im glad in this game they made it easier for me

Aaah. So it's broadband only? That makes sense, since there's so much crap going on at one time in that game. It's so damn good.

Yeah its great! Theres no feeling greater then sneaking into a enemy camp and jacking one of their tanks or ships and start killing them. The people are so dumb they dont notice that someone not on their team is in it and think someones team killing them its pretty funny. I snuck over to their camp on the Naboo Theed level and took a tank and they were all wondering who was in their tank killing them. I guess they couldnt see my name over the tank or something
