Maximum Carnage Resurfaces

In order to celebrate the tenth anniversary of fan favourate symbiote serial killer Carnage (currently making a huge comeback in the Spidy books, includsing the accalimed "Venom vs Caranage" mini-series) Marvel have released Carnages' "finest hour", the plotless Maximum Carnage as a Trade Paperback.

A huge 14-part crossover with every major Marvel character at the time, Maximum Carnage is regarded as one of the worst Marvel stories ever written, even by the very publishers, but hey, Carnage makes money, so they've re-released it, which marks the first time in years that it has been acknowledged.

With all of New York being victimised mentally and physically by Carnage and his posse of Shreik, Carrion, Demogoblin, and the Spider Doppleganger, "Maximum Carnage" also spun off a succesful video game and to this date remains one of Spidy's biggest succeses in the 90s, next to the animated series.

I own every part of this garbage, so I'm not touching it, but if there are any Carnage fans here, it's ideal for ya (although I'd strongly recommend "Savage Genesis" above it, as well as Venom vs Carnage)

Pretty poorly, Venom hurtled Carnage into propane fuel tanks and the explosion knocked Carnage out, Venom managed to escape.

I tried to find all these comics because the game didnt really tell me to much. I only found the first and last issues. They were okay I like Planet of the Symbiotes better and the one where Venom and Carnage fight inside the computer that was really cool!
Anyways Ill probly get this! I havnt bought a comic in awhile but Im intrested. I also need to get the DMC series that supposed to come out in a big book like this

Shriek wasn't a symbiote, she was a fellow inmate who helped Carnage after his escape from jail....Scream was a symbiote and was in the Seperation Anziety (spelled so wrong) game.

Picked up the TPB today. I don't really care how bad it's supposed to be, it's just one of those comics I always wanted to read. I remember it happening way back when but never bothering to pick up any of the issues. So now I'll be able to read it and judge for myself.

See, Maximum Carnage is like a popcorn movie you can read, it does'nt make you think a lot, and if you're a fan of Venom or Carnage, then it's ideal, because all it has is gormless, mindless violence and Spdiy teaming up with hero upon hero (some of them VERY obscure now) to stop it, there are one or two issues which try to enforce that peacful inaction will bring order to chaos, and Part 14 has a good look at Carnages' tortured being, but aside from that, it's all action.

Naturally, I hate it, but it had a huge impact with the mainstream, Marvel, despite making millions off of it, hated the story to such an extent, they neglected it until now.
