The first comic book I've bought when I spent my time in Toronto. Also one of the greatest Wolverine Stories there are. It brings his sort of "lone wolf" attitude out pretty well and it has that Nihei-ish way of telling stories.

This was I think the most emotional issue of YJ... I felt so sad after reading it. The team who did YJ for over 50 issues just finishes it all off within these 20 pages.

The story is pretty lame, YJ messing around with time. But the cover is great. It has a sort of sad atmosphere.
There's many more left, I'll post them as soon as I remember what they were.

Whoa, what's that all about? "the punish-Spider"?
 Good one. Heh.
If you really wanted to know, though, Spider-Man 2099 is about a man named Miguel O'Hara, a genetic scientist who tried to cleanse his body of a dangerous and highly addicting drug. In the process, one of his co-workers tampered with the machine Miguel was using, resulting in the proportionate abilities of a spider to be fused with his DNA. After the experiment, O'Hara discovered that he had all of the 20th century Spider-Man's powers -- with a twist. The webshooters were organic and he had small talons on his fingertips and toes to help in his wall-crawling.
Pretty good series.

HAHAHA! Those are hilarious. I have some Jimmy Olson comics somewhere, one I remember is about Jimmy and Superman being cavemen.
In other words, he was just like the movie Spider-Man. Am I wrong?
No, you're right, basically. But those are the only similarities. Miguel had his own apartment, girlfriend, steady job, and no annoying relatives to worry about. Except for his brother, who was the Green Goblin.

I love these old WWII era Submariner covers. He pretty much defeated the entire German and Japanese naval fleets by himself according to these comics...
http://img41.exs.cx/img41/950/19ta.jpg http://img41.exs.cx/img41/8205/26cv.jpg
And then after the war when there were no more Nazis or Japs to knock around, he decided to go after the Soviets...

He sure did. It didn't last for long though. The symbiote just used him to get back to Cassidy I think. I haven't read that issue in a long time.

There are very few WWII ones that I like, most from that era are dumb as hell. Even though the Submariner karate chopping Japanese aircraft carriers is pretty dumb, it's nowhere near as bad as seeing Batman and Robin in the middle of a jungle on some Pacific island, handing a rifle to a Marine while telling him to "shoot a jap for the folks back home".

Uhhh yeah. I think we're having a healthy laugh AT the word, no one here is advocating slapping Japanese people. Anyone who'd get horribly offended by wartime propaganda like that is way too sensetive.
BTW, one of my college classes is labeled "JAP 202". I don't see anybody crying their eyes out over an abbreviation.

The Collector's Packs can be found at Affordable Treasures for 4 bucks a pack. The Fatal Attractions pack is the only one that I know of that has three comics. The other Collector's Packs have four.
