undefined I am making this topic so that we can all share eachothers unforgetable times on Halo 2... and i shall start

I was on the other night with Elite, and god what a hell of a time i had playing with him. We had a rough start at first, but my luck was starting to change in a assualt match in BM. I had the sniper rifle and sword, and Elite witnessed what i called a "phyz owns other team match". I mean... i had a freakin' rampage goin on, 30 medals were won that match... it was great


oh yeah, and Elite, the night after we played, same map, but 39 medals :D

Changed the thread title because I'm a grammar whore. Peanut and I have some pretty epic stories, but we haven't played in a while. We'll try and play again soon so we can share some.

Funny though, you'd think 'telling videogame moments like they were war stories' would come under some warped game addiction :lol:

My most unforgettable moment was in story mode on one of the later levels I was battling some tough elite who was running all over the place. It reached a point where he'd hidden behind something so I approached slowly ready to kill him. Then he jumped out from behind one of those purple weapon rack/box things and said 'There you are!' in his calm but slightly shocked voice. I had to shoot him while peeing myself with laughter. I love the little dialogue to that game

Sorry if I just wasted your time with a crappy little story so here's a more rewarding one :roll:

I was playing a deathmatch with my friends on that new Blood Gulch map and one of my friends was stopped by one of the bases, standing at the turret of the warthog. He was looking at my screen as I had a rocket launcher and had him in my sights from a long way away. I fired and he muttered some scared exclamation (try 'oh crap') and sat there just waiting for it. A few seconds passed and he figured 'oh maybe it missed' and looks for where it must have gone then he turns and sees this rocket come heading straight for him, which inevitably hits him dead on and kills him :lol:

Sadly the line I hear from my friendly marines most is the taunt 'When I fire I usually try to hit something'

In studyhall, we play 2 on 2 a lot. And I have some stories, seriously, **** that should go on in a movie that Speilberg could direct.

I'm a pretty good player, I won't stroke my ego too much, But I'd say I'm 3rd in my studyhall.

Let's set the scene; I get paired with a crap player, seriously, the cat has played a total of 3 games....This is his third. So we start to go, and I'm up against the 2nd and 1st top players in class. It was gonna suck. 40 seconds into the match, I check the score....The other team had 3 kills, and I hadn't died yet. So I start to pick up the pace, I take on the other two and this is Coagulation, so it's wide open. The game goes on for 15 minutes, and I get spawned at the opposite end of the map. I see my partner is under fire by the other two. So I hop in a 'hog, and haul ass. I've never driven so well. I've never been able to use the E-Brake, but this time, I was coming up, and I see the two, standing next to each other, shooting. I hit the e-brake, and powerslide into them, scoring two kills as they chuck a gernade at my partner and blow the **** out of him.

We lost by 1.

Ai, myself, and JameO have too many good war stories. Like Ai said we haven't played in awhile, but when we do we usually come up with some good stuff.

I have a story that almost ended in tragedy.

I was playing and it was a free-for-all. I had a shot gun, and needed to reload, but someone was trying to run me down with a 'hog. So I faced him and jumped and did the melee attack, to the windshield, did nothing. But I ended up living long enough to get to the driver's side and shoot him with the shotty.

I was pleased.

That reminds me of a crazy king match my friends and I had. I and one of them were running to the hill, fighting, as my other friend was coming after us in a warthog. He tried to run me over but missed and got the other guy as I jumped in the passenger seat. I gave him a friendly 'hello' then as we arrived he got a 'thanks for the ride' and a little plasma grenade stuck to him. Mwaahahahaha :D

Phyzogh and I just totally wasted another team, 50 to 11. I only died 3 times, and Phyzogh only died once.

Damn, that's rough. I played again tonight with some friends, but Ai is a wussy and wouldn't play. We need to all get together at some point and pull off some serious ownage.

I played with 3 friends yesterday. We did an awesome Coagulation - Crazy King singles match and I won.

Then we did a 2-on-2 Team Deathmatch with me and the guy who'd never played before and sucked against my friend who's alright and another friend who owned the game and was as good as my friend. I still managed to win (the sucky guy didn't kill anyone and was an easy target for them) by 3 points or so because I rule. There's nothing like being hunted by 2 guys with rocket launchers and jumping down between them with an energy sword and finishing them both off before they can react :evilgrin:
