Good evening everyone, my name is Brian AKA Metal Head. I'm looking for some info on two figures....Scratch the cat and Hot Spot the dalmatian dog.How hard are these figures to come by? Were they released in the US?What's the average going rate for these two figures loose?

I'm starting to rebuild my collection of TMNT stuff......so this time I'd like to add those two figures to my collection. Thanks for any and all help, Brian MH

Here ya go buddy!

figures like the Dalmatian Hot Spot ($55) and the cat Scratch ($290) are especially hard to find.

How's THAT for hard to find!

I'll bring in pics when I find them.

Are those prices you mentioned for loose or carded? Were these released in the US perhaps? I just can't find out why they are so rare...

I believe the prices he gave you are for the carded figures. Yes, Scratch and Hot Spot were released in the US, but only a limited amount was made. Guess that's why they're so rare...

I dont even remember seeing them on store shelves out here where I am. I did purchase a loose HotSpot at the 2nd hand store for $1 though, so it must of been released out here sometime.

On Ebay HotSpot goes for a lot less the Scratch. I hardly see people bidding on a Scratch because the sellers usually want too much money for him.:)

THANKS for the help Azure Turtle.......and thanks to all for the welcome.

I have one other question.....do you guys do trading on this board for figures and parts? I'm a co-owner and administrator at a GI Joe collecting site also and we have a trading section set up for that purpose.....but I didn't see anything like that here, so I was just curious.........because completing a collection takes time....and networking with collectors will definatly help.

Thanks to all, Brian MH

I mentioned this in the Suggestions forum, but I should probably mention it here too so more people will see it: Would anyone else be interested in a Selling/Trading forum here? I'd be willing to make one if there is enough interest.

LOL! No problem, Metal Head! Hmm... I'd be interested in a buying/selling/trading forum. I've received comics from one of the posters here a long time ago (thanks, Nun! ;) ).
