I figured I'd post these here.

I'm sure there are some here who have heard these:
The following audios are actual bloopers from the Thunder Cats:
http://www.ebaumsworld.com/thundercats.html

An episode of an old British kids show from the 70's/80's that never aired on tv. Watch and you will see why:

Old Flintstone's Ad for Winston cigs:
http://media.ebaumsworld.com/index.php?e=flintston.wmv
****Imagine the uproar that this kind of advertising would cause in today's world?

This guy has lost his mind:

I'll get more.

That kid's show-thing was just amazing. I've never seen so much "subtile" sex-talk in any show on this planet

I would have run this guy down so fast, maybe ram him between the front bumper of my car and the back bumper of the car ahead. People like this deserve to die.

Taken from an interview with Geoffrey Hayes, a writer on Rainbow:

Andrew: The Christmas tape that Thames produced, the naughty Rainbow which has been featured on TV Offal where Victor Lewis-Smith said it was the "unscreened pilot."

Geoffrey: Victor Lewis-Smith or someone else…

Andrew: Graham Norton?

Geoffrey: You just reminded me, that’s right, yes. The VT department of each ITV company, every Christmas had a competition to enter all the outtakes from their particular companies programme out put, and see which ones were the funniest. But ours wasn’t an outtake, we specially did it. It was specially scripted and we did it and I never saw it! We did it and Thames won it, but what they actually won, I don’t know. But I never saw the video. I can’t remember much about it except for Zippy with a banana.

It indeed was a real kids' show, but that clip was merely an in-joke amongst cast and crew, and never was intended to air.

It's actually romanian. Done by a band called Ozone or Haiducii (the sort of threw that song on the market around the same time). Then there's that stupid german producer who had one of his moronic singers cover it.

We in Germany, Austria and Switzerland had that song as THE summer hit. Unfortunately it ran on heavy rotation. And because the song existed in three versions, we heard that song times three. I hate that song.

But no one, no one beats Eamon.

Reading btw. is a great place. I stayed there at one of my mom's former school friends a couple of years ago. I love the Oracle. and that comic shop near the oracle.

We did. Just not all the time.

And wow, you actually have been to Reading. Awesome.
I don't know which comic shop you're referring too. I guess there is solely a comic shop kinda near The Oracle called 'Escape' and then there's 'Friar Street Bookshop' which became something else but still has some comics and there's this collectors' place which has all sorts of things and some cool older comics

Anarky
01-16-2005, 03:20 PM
Friar Street it was. That's the place where found that shocking TMNT issue (an Image-one as I found out here). And I bought early issues of Young Justice there. Plus lots of books. Maybe I get back to Reading one day...

Wow. That's pretty impressive.

There's a lot of steel-things that even cut a speeding bullet. A good kitchen knife is able to do that too.

And here's my genereal rant about people going "OMG, Katana big magic thing. it being able to cut everything": Just because every other anime character uses one and Samurai/Ninja-kind of guys are usually portrayed unbeatable in the movies (thanks to their swords of course), doesn't mean that they are magic things that you know to operate once you see them. And you can't cut just anything with it. And you are not going to be big-ass master of all the world as soon as you own a Katana. And don't try not to get shot by trying to cut the bullets. Katanas are not magic, they are not special, they are just swords.
