Do you think the villain figures don't look that menacing?

While I like the sculpt of the turtles, I tend to think the Foot and Shredder is somewhat lacking. Maybe I need to see them altogether, but Shredder and the Foot look to have the same old Playmates stubby crouched legs. I like how the animated designs having Shredder standing straight up. He looks much more threatening. I would've been cool to give Shredder knee, elbow, and ankle joints so at least we could pick the pose. Playmates rely too much on twist articulation instead of ball joints or other bending joints.

Hopefully the new figures will be nicer in person.

I think the new villain action figs look awesome... Can't wait to see them up close. Now that I've seen the designs for the Purple Dragons, I'm wondering if we may see action figures for them in the future...

i hear they are putting in articulation and that those were only like the sculpts with basic articulation....
