Just a heads up guys...

I've always wanted to have a contest on my site, but I didn't have the funds to get a decent enough prize, let alone the sponsors. So, an idea hit me. Why not use a Donate button to help sponsor the fudns for a proper contest?

If 100 people donated as little as $1, we could get one Cold Cast Leonardo Statue a month to give away. Or, get a handfull of the Kevin Eastman Artbiographies as a backup prize for second place. If enough people pitch in, we could even give away Gamecubes's, with whatever new TMNT games will be released for it.

Just an idea, and one that I hope will be a popular one. If anything, it should give us somehting interesting to work for when site updates are at an all time low.

hrmmm....

Though, I be all for the Artobiography. It cost less and it has lots of cool art things in it (so I have heard). It's also easier to order.

Though... how do we donate the money? (I don't have a paypal account... >< )

I think you can set up a donation thing through amazon.com... I think.

And the Leonardo statue should be pretty easy to order. Just go to your local comic shop and tell them that you want it and it should be there in about 2-3 weeks.

Hmm,

Is the Amazon one easy to setup? I could put it underneath the Paypal button for people who don't subscribe to that service.

And if we give away cold cast statues, this is going to be one tough ass contest to win(although obviously not impossible). Something like an art contest, perhaps.

Ooh... Contest for a Leo statue? That'll draw lots of participants. I'd bet it'd be hard to win just from the great number of people who'd enter. :)

Or just have a raffle game. Like have people pay for their entry 'ticket', and then you can have a drawing to get the winner (kinda like the lottery, but the money submitted goes toward the statue).

Art contest sounds good too... but it might leave out some of those who can't draw well, but they also like to have a chance at the statue. :/

Or just have different kinds of contests at different times so all can have a good chance. :)
