Ive had a netspend card for awhile now. And Ive bouth alot of things with it and never had a problem. Recently I ordered a CD and the order appeared to have not gone through. I looked and it never posted to my account. I also never got an email confirming the order. So I ordered it again. I got the email this time and everything went fine. Well now I go to check my account today and I come to find that they charged me for both orders both of which cost 30 bucks and I only had 36 on my card. So now Im 28 dollars over drawn because of it. Stupid netspend card! Grrr Im not sure what happens when you over draw with it but it cant be good *In case you dont know a netspend card is a online credit card that acts like a ATM card, for people not old enough to have a creadit card*

This ever happened to anyone?

Depending on who you ordered the CD from and whether or not its been shipped yet, you could have the order cancelled and the charges will be reversed. Problem solved. You'll no longer be in debt.

But if that doesn't go through and Netspend doesn't reject the second CD purchase because of lack of funds, usually when you're overdrawn with a bank/debit card you'll receive a notification from the bank demanding immediate payment of the balance owed, plus a fee. So long as you pay up quickly, all's well.

Credit cards are big brother's way of spying on what you do. Alas, I don't use them.

Well, there's some things you gotta use them for such as ebay or CDJapan, so I opt to use a debit card. That way, it's coming directly out of my account and I don't feel like I can overdraw. I hate those things too, so otherwise I just use cash. It's only for online purchases that you can't get elsewhere and such. Credit Cards are evil.

Credit cards are great, especially since it's not even mine. Plus, it's tied to a Paypal account, and I have access to that whenever I want. So if I want something, I don't even have to ask, I just get it.

Yeah Im stuck paying a fee because I cant cancel the order. Maybe I can sell the CD to someone so in the end I dont lose to much money

Credit cards are a mixed bag, I got one, and I've only used it once, and paid it off already. I'm very edgy about being screwed by CC companies.

Be careful.

I don't have one... don't need one... when I buy something from Ebay I drive to my friends house and use their paypal account.. then give them the money... if they don't use it to pay the bill, then it's not my problem :D

I try to use MOney Orders for domestic things, but imports are so damn expensive, you kinda have to use Paypal.
