Interesting! Does that cover the entire run of NM then? Odd to see that they have seperate volumes and then two mega disks. Seems to repeat material doesn't it? In any case, thanks for the news.

I kind of wish that, too. They'll make thousands of Power Rangers shows and release those on DVD in the US, they'll make tons of Disney garbage and release those on DVD in the US, but not this? Was it really that bad?

Power Rangers is just as screwed over there as the Next Mutation is as far as DVD releases are concerned, Disney have thirteen seasons at thier disposal, and so far, there has'nt been ONE freaking box set of either the MMPR days (which the mainstream would buy in an instant) or the later seasons for the hardcore fanbase to collect. It's ridiculous, only five DVD volumes of a P.R season are released each year.

Disney can release Gargoyles on DVD, but when it comes to other classics? Nothing.

No, unfortuantly not.
There seems to be only three episodes per DVD, starting with volume two.

I keep meaning to buy the first release with East Meets West 1-5 on it but I keep forgetting. LOL. I'll buy it one of these days just so I can see the first five episodes of the series uncut (I've only ever seen part of EMW Part 2). I do find it odd they are releasing these DVDs...Next Mutation was a such a failure...could it be that kids are liking it and buying it and it's just us diehards who are against that show?

I agree with you Zaries, I would buy MMPR in a HOT second, but Disney sucks, I mean PR: SPD, come on!!! End the power rangers now and release the old on DVD!! I say we get a pettion to get NM on DVD along with MMPR.

1. I happen to like S.P.D, I'm a hardcore fan, I just said the mainstream would buy MMPR-Zeo because that's when the series was accepted worldwide, not just with the current fanbase.

2. Petitions don't work, especially with Disney

No we did'nt, we got the special editions of the original trilogy, something Lucas was going to release anyway.

Petitions don't work. Period.

It's fine, I know P.R is extremly disliked a lot here, (except in 2004, when Tommy breifly came back, for the MMPR days apparently can never do completly wrong, only the later seasons get thrashed for lasting longer than animated shows) I just try and defend it here as much as I can, because it has genually evolved and is right up there with Ninja Turtles.

Maximum Entertainment just released the cover for the second volume:

Looks awesome in my opinion! :o
For some reason I think that Shredder looks a little like Power Rangers SPD's Grumm. :ohwell:
