Munkustrap, the black and grey stripped Jellicle leader followed after Old Dueteronomy as he carried the new born kitten who had black, red, orange and grey stripped fur. On her forehead was a white star birthbark. "She's too young to venture in the World of Humans," Munk argued.
Demeter stepped up to her mate, placing a paw on his arm. "Munk..."
"I'm sorry, Munkustrap, I wish to have Starlight see the Human World for herself while she's at an early age," Dueteronomy spoke softly. Here, he handed the kitten to Skimbleshanks, wrapping a baby blue blanket he'd found in the junkyard one day around the kitten.
"Take her to the abandoned warehouse 51 in New York, Skimble."
Skimble bowed, taking in the young kitten and slinked away.

Meanwhile, Michelangelo and Leonardo are out on patrol and they're nearing warehouse 51. "Hey, I thought I heard a mewling noise..." Mike announced.
"Mike, you're crazy...You're thinking of Klunk everywhere we go!" Leo groaned.
Mike shoke his head and followed the mewling noise and soon found the baby kitten. "Awww...she's so cute..." he picks her up in his arms and turns to Leonardo. "Can we keep her, Leo?"

Three years later, Starlight is still just a kitten, but she's almost the same hieght as Leonardo. Strange stuff starts happening to the turtle brothers as it nears the night of the Jellicle Moon and Starlight wishes to find her way home.

Off in the junkyard somewhere, a female queen with red, black, and white tiger striped fur yawned as she stretched on the wall that she'd curled up on and then leapt down off of it and landed flawlessly on her paws. She then heaved a great yawn and then strolled off toward Munkstrap when a male tom with tiger spotted black fur then crept up behind the she-kat slowly. "RAWR!!!!!" Rum Tum Tugger playfully roared, as he tackled his queen to the floor with a yelp. "....hiya, Rose." "HELLO, Tug..." The queen said, as her brown eye then irritatedly twitched and she then looked up at him. Where was Munk when she needed him?

Munk looked off to the side, watching Rosemary and Tugger while he lay beside his sleeping mate, Demeter. "Tug...please, not right now..." the leader muttered, still a bit groggy.
Demeter's eyes fluttered open and she looked from Tugger, to Rosemary, then to Munk. "Is she back, yet?" she yawned.
"No...not yet..."

"Get off...GET OFF!!" Rose hissed, as she then gently pushed her mate aside and then stretched her legs. "...I spent all night avoiding Mcavaity at the railroad tracks with Skimbleshanks..." "What are you talking about, Ro?" Tug said, as the queen then leapt up onto teh rail behind Munk and Demeter and then looked at him. "You heard me." Rosemary said. "...I was down at the railroad tracks with Skimble, recalling tales of many places he visited, when Mcavaity appeared out of nowhere and scratched the living daylights out of my tail!" She then nodded to her tail, where a deep gash was then seen and she then sighed. "It was only by the grace of my maker and my quick movements did I avoid him..." She sighed, grimmacing at the lingering pain that still hung around.

"Are you okay, Rosemary?" Jemima asked, crawling out of her hiding spot atop of the tires.
Demeter let out a sigh. "At least she's nowhere near where Macavity can get her..."
"It's okay, Dem...Starlight's safe...I just know it," Munk let out a sigh of his own and hugged her tightly.

Starlight grumbled slightly as Michelangelo's snoring woke her. "Ugh...Mikey!!" the young cat crawled out of bed and walked over towards Mikey's hammock. "Michelangelo...." she whispered, snickering slightly as she shook him with her paws.
"Hrm....I don't wanna go to...hrm...school...." he mumbled.

"I'll be fine, Jem." Rose said, accenting her words with a wave of her paw to accent her words, as Tug then curled up next to his queen. "...don't worry about it. I'm quick. He can't lay a paw on me if I have someone with me..."

"Mike..." A female voice rang out, as Mars entered the room, looking a might bit peeved, having her tone match her peeved attitude. "....oh, Mikey? Michaelangelo....WAKE UP, YOU LAZY, GOOD-FOR-NOTHING BROTHER!!!"

Michelangelo's eyes fluttered open upon hearing his sister's annoyed voice. "Good for nothing brother? What, me??" he asked innocently, then noticed Starlight staring at him.

"Hey, Star...did you sleep well?" he asked, giving her a smile.

"Yeah...until I was woken up by your snoring!" the cat threw a pillow at the orange clad turtle.

Jemima nodded to her friend and looked up at the sky. "Wonder what Victoria's doing..." she murmured, then silently left the cats to find Victoria.

"I could hear your snoring all the way down the sewers to MY HOME..." Mars irritatedly said, as she then looked at Starlight. "...and you woke Star out of a deep sleep! How do you sleep at night?"

Rosemary then settled down to sleep, ears twitching as she slept, all the while having her mate sit glancing up at the stars, deep in thought. Where was he when Rose was attacked? Why didn't he hear her call? How can he call himself a tom if he couldn't save his own queen? So many thoughts ran through Tugger's mind, as he then shook his head and stroked his mate's back gently.

"I've tried to figure that out for years," Raphael smirked in the doorway, looking at the others.

Both Starlight and Michelangelo turned towards the doorway to look at Raphael. "Hey, Raphy," Star smiled.
"Very funny, Raph..." Mike muttered. "Can't help I have a snoring problem..."
This was when Leo decided to pop his head in the doorway. "Guys, dojo, now..." he noticed Starlight was awake. "Oh...hey, Star...sleep well?"

Starlight nodded, walking past Raph in order to see Leo. "Yeah, until Mike's snoring woke me up..." she muttered.
Leo gave a short smile and handed her a pair of earmuffs. "I use them...they work for me," he smirked, patting her on the shoulder. He looked more into Mike's room to see Mars. "Hey, sis..."

While Demeter lay back down for a few hours more sleep, Munkustrap stared up at the night sky. only three more days until the Jellicle Moon...maybe then our daughter will return to us, Demy... he looked back at his mate and heaved a sigh.

"Hi, Leo." Mars grinned at her brother, as she then glared at Mike. "...it's a wonder you didn't wake MUNK up. If he's awoken out of his deep sleep...well...let's just say he isn't a morning type of dog.... :evilgrin:"

TMNT Randi, as always. I think in this one she'll live with 'em on and off.)

Well, at least one person hadn't been awakened by Mikey's snoring. Randi still lay in her bed, her head between two pillows sound alseep. Of course, she had to sleep through worse things then the nasal problems of a single turtle... try twenty nine other mutants.

"Mcavity..." The black queen stepped close to the sleeping bully of a cat. "Mcavity..." All she got in reply was a snore. The queen narrowed her green eyes at him, raising her voice a little. "Mcavity..." She extended her claws and put them in his backside, "MCAVITY!"

"Yow!" He jumped up in obviously surprise but quickly regained his frightening demeanor. His hair on end, he hissed at her. "What was that for?"

"For a lot of things," She sat down, wagging her tail back and forth, "Where would you like me to begin? Oh, yes, where were you last night."

He hissed at her again and walked over to a pile of crates. "Why do you ask questions you already know the answer to?" He leapt up onto one of the crates, making for the window of the warehouse

"Because..." She followed, moving him to block his path. "I want to hear it from you."

"Then you'll be sorely disapointed." He snorted and stood on the window seal. "Ah, the sweet smell of fish and smoke in the morning..."

As Rose awoke from her restless sleep, due to the nightmares she had, she yawned and then stretched and glanced up and spotted Tug sleeping beside her, curled up in a ball, purring softly. -What a goof..- She thought with a smile, as she then got up off of the rail and then strolled off to find Jemima. -...wonder where Jem is at...-

Raph frowned at Leo, getting away from the door and headed for the dojo.

"Alright, but there better be double breakfast..."

Jemima looked around for Victoria and sighed. "Come on, Victoria...where ARE you?" she moaned. When she couldn't find her, she slunk back to where Munk, Rose, Tugger and Dem where.
"What's wrong, Jemima?" Munk asked.
"Nothing...it's boring without everyone being awake..." she grumbled.

"Hmph!" Blitz stood on the window cell with him, "I think I'm going to explore of my own today..." Mcavity gave her a bored look and she piffed at him, "I'm allowed, I'm still relatively new to this area, and besides, I want to see the other cats."

"No point in seeing them unless I'm around." He followed her down the fire escape to the trash bin.

"What," she gave him a coy look, "Don't want them taking your Queen?"

"My Queen?" He snorted, landing on the ground, "I don't need one."

"Then you don't mind me going." She turned on her paws and started towards the other Jellicles. Mcavity sneered after her but went the other way.

"Did someone say breakfast?" Randi asked, walking sleepy-eyed into the room. She yawned a bit, "I could go for some food right about now..."

"Well, I'M awake!" Rose said, playfully batting at Jemima's tail as if to say "Hello....". "...so, you have someone to talk to, at least!!"


"If you like, I'd could whip up some of my famous melt-in-your-mouth buttermilk pancakes to go along with whatever Mike's up to in there..." Mars said, straining to see what exactly her brother was cooking.

Jemima blinked at Rose, then giggled. "Sorry, Rosy...I guess I wasn't looking well enough..."
Jem jumped a bit, hearing a crash. Demeter bolted upright, ears twitching ferociously. "Macavity!!" she hissed.
"Dem...it's okay...it's just Mungojerrie and Rumpleteazer..." Munk assured her.

Mikey stood in front of the stove, cooking scrambled eggs and french toast.
Starlight nodded, licking her lips. "That sounds great, Mars," she smiled.

Even Rose had to jump at the crash and she then sent a glare toward the two cats. "For the love of the Jellicle Moon..." She uttered under her breath, as she then turned to Jem. "...you busy today? I'm going to go meet Skimble down at teh old abandoned railroad tracks. Wanna come?"

"All right, All right!" Mars said, as she slunk into the kitchen and started to work. Soon the sweet aroma of her pancakes filled the room and she then smiled. "...who wants some pancakes?"

Rumpleteazer couldn't help but giggle at this. "Sorry, guys!" she waved to them and her and Mungo ran off together. Munk shook his head at the two cats.
"Are you kidding? I'd love to go see Skimble again!" Jemima declared, a huge smile on the young queen's face.

Mikey smiled at Mars. "I'll have some pancakes!" he turned the stove off and got the plates ready.
Starlight stood in the doorway of the kitchen. "I'll take some, too!" she smiled. "Anything I can help with?" she asked.

"Great!" Rose then said, nodding as her ears twitched. "...I swear I keep hearing something! Must be my imagination. We'll go this afternoon to see him, Kay?"

"Well, then get over there and make yourself a plate!" Mars said, playfully thwacking him on the head with her spatula. "...I'm not the one serving them! It's make your own plates!! And, Starlight, you can just be your normal, cute, charming self. :D"

Jemima smiled. "Kay..." she tilted her head at her friend. "What kind of noises have you been hearing?" she asked, ears twitching a little bit.
Munk watched his mate stare up at the sky in silence. "Dem...everything will be okay..."


Starlight blinked at Mars, then smiled brightly. "I'll go get Leo!!" she ran off as Mikey started to make his plate. "Leo!!" the young queen called. She found him in the dojo.
"Hey, Star...where's everyone else?" he asked,a short smile on his face.
"They're in the kitchen...come on, breakfast is ready!" she smiled.

"Dunno..." Rose then said, as Tug then silently crept up behind her. "...it sounds like..." "GRAH!!!" Tug said, as he then tackled the suprised yelping queen to the ground. "It sounds like Tug..." Rose irritatedly said, as he then smiled down at her. "...hi."


"And you better hurry!" Mars called out with a chuckle. "...Mike's filling up his plate!"

At the question of pancakes, Randi smirked, "I'll have some." Said she, wandering into the kitchen. The doors to the cabinets open and seven plates floated out, setting themselves on the table. They were followed by butter knives and forks. Randi sat down and yawned again as the small container of butter from the kitchen landed in the middle of the table. "Am I forgetting something? Oh yea." Seven cups took thier place at each plate. "There..."

Blitz stopped her journey, spotting a tom pounce another queen. "Hmm..." The queen was Rosemary, the one that Macavity had been harassing last night. None of the other Jellicles really knew about her, though they might have spotted her once or twice. She usually stayed at the ware house or wandered around the rail-road junction. The purely black cat sniffered her fur. "Gah, I smell like him too..." She muttered, liking the fur on her arm. "Stupid tom.."

[Mars-Chan]

"Thanks for doin' that for me, Randi." Mars said, as she poked her head around the corner. "...I was JUST about to do that."

Rosemary then giggled like she used to, when she was a kitten, when her nose then caught a waft of a scent. She then brushed it off with a chuckle, pulled free of her Tom's grip and bounced along the narrowest rail she could find, leaping over a sleeping Quaxo. "Excuse me, Quaxo!" She said, as Tug then jumped over the sleeping cat and continued to pursue her. "...gotta keep on the run, you know!"

"No," Randi paused to yawn, "problem." She rested her cheek in her hand and closed her eyes. She had found it hard to sleep last night, and now it was affecting her now. It was funny, she used to be able to go days with out sleep.

Blitz watched the two run about and play, she let out a small sight and layed down. The Queen felt a little jealous. A little? Alright, extremely jealous. Macavity never did such things with her. Her tail swayed to and fro and she closed her eyes slightly, so much for actually meeting the other jellicles. She wasn't in the mood to do so anymore.

"Great," Raph chuckled, watching the plates float through the air and land on the table, "I'm hungry like a wolf."

"Good for you..." Randi muttered, gazing at him lazily through her shades. "Why don't you howl then, that'll really wake me up."

Starlight's ears twitched as she heard Raph say this. The young queen stood behind him with a smirk on her face. "Hungry like a wolf, huh?" she joked and took the empty seat beside him.

It wasn't long after when Leo and Mikey joined the group; Leo taking the seat across from Starlight, while Mikey took the seat beside Randi.

"Macavity...." Demeter hissed again, crawling back behind Munk, a scowl on the queen's face.

"You'd like that, wouldn't you," Raph grinned, sitting down next to Starlight and patted her on the head. He quickly turned back to Randi.

"Then what's with you, you look like one, who have been up all night..."

"Now, now..." Mars said teasingly, as she then sat down beside Leo and took a long swig of her OJ. "...it's not polite to intrude on other's privacy....no matter how juicy it may be..."

Rose then paused suddenly and sniffed the air, causing Tug to pause behind her. "What is it, hon?" He gently said, as the queen continued to scent the air and her fur on her back stood up on end. "It's him!" She hissed, making a bee-line back to the junkyard.

"Now, now..." Mars said teasingly, as she then sat down beside Leo and took a long swig of her OJ. "...it's not polite to intrude on other's privacy....no matter how juicy it may be..."

Rose then paused suddenly and sniffed the air, causing Tug to pause behind her. "What is it, hon?" He gently said, as the queen continued to scent the air and her fur on her back stood up on end. "It's him!" She hissed, making a bee-line back to the junkyard.

"...I, uh, uhm..." Randi rubbed her face. She didn't want to have them know she was begining to have war flashbacks, especially since they didn't she had been in any. "Had a lot on my mind last night is all."

"Eh..." Blitz opened one yellow green eye when the small-framed cat heard her Tom's name spoken. She let out a wide yawn and raised her head, spotting Rosemary hurrying by. "What's the rush?"

"I understand..." Mars said with a nod. "...believe me, I can most assuredly understand what you're going through..."


"Um...THAT'S the problem." Rosemary giggled, jutting a paw over her shoulder in her mate's direction who seemed to be making a hasty run towards her. "...now, if you'll excuse me...GAH!!!" "You cannot escape me that easily, Rosemary!" Tug chuckled, bounding past the she-cat in order to catch up with his mate.

Starlight kept silent as she ate her share. Jellicle Moon is almost here... she thought, staring down at her food.

"Uh, Star?" Leo started. She glanced up at him. "Yeah, Leo?" she asked, her tail twitching about in a playful manner.

Leo shook his head, a smile on his face. "Never mind..." Mike tilted his head at the two and continued to eat.

Jemima's ears twitched a bit as she saw Tugger chasing after Rosemary in the distance. She turned to Demeter and Munk. "See? It's only Tuggy and Rosy..." she smiled.

If the feline could raise an eyebrow, she would but instead she sat up and watched the two run off. She could have sworn they had said Macavity's name. Blitz leapt down form her box and decided to follow, they looked intertaining anyways.

"Oh..." Mars softly said. "...well, I just thought...."


"Must...keep...running..." Rose panted, as she then slowed down to a slow jog. "....must...keep...going..." She then finally gave up and collapsed on the ground in front of her, just as Tug knelt beside her. "You gave me a run for my money, Rose." He panted, as she tehn pant-chuckled. "...you feel like you could go any more?" "NOT ON YOUR LIFE!" She groaned, as she then wiped the sweat off of her face with a paw, as he chuckled.

"Thanks for tryin' but you honestly don't know what goes on in my head." Randi grumbled, "And lets just say it's safer if you don't."

Blitz followed behind at a brisk walk, stopping when she spotted several other cat's in the distance. She sat down and simply stared at them for a moment or two before looking back over to Rosemary and Tugger. Her tail swished back and forth. So these were the ones her Tom always boasted about torturing... she didn't see what he found so fun about it. The feline could understand living her lifeon the outskirts of the Jellicle community, but she failed to see the fun in torturing. What if you needed their help at one point? She sniffed the air, stood and started slowly towards the other cats.

Up on a roof top not too far away, Macavity watched with annoyed eyes. His tail twitched with agitation, his Queen was trying to befriend those... those... cats! It made him so angry! He smirked, though. They'd smell him on her, they'd reject her quicker than a cat rejects sour milk!

Starlight tilted her head at Randi's behavior. "Will Randi be okay?" she asked, sweetly.
Leo stared at Randi as he finished off his breakfast. "Hrm...." he cleared his throat and stood up from the table, plate in hands.

Demeter shook her head and kept silent. Jemima stared at her friend's behavior and wandered over to Blitz. "Hi," the young queen smiled, friendly.

Mars then silently ate the in front of her and then shook her head at an inward thought.


"So...What do you want to do now that we're here?" Rosemary asked, as Tug's ears twitched diviously. "How about I chase you some more?" He teased, as Rose then groaned and got up and the chase began once again.

Starlight tilted her head at Randi's behavior. "Will Randi be okay?" she asked, sweetly.
Leo stared at Randi as he finished off his breakfast. "Hrm...." he cleared his throat and stood up from the table, plate in hands.

Randi grumbled something to herself about never 'being okay' while she ate. Whe Leo cleared his throat and stood she slammed down her fist causing her butter knife to fly up and land blade down into her half eaten pancakes. She had lost her apitite for now. Usually she made it a point to finish her food, (she never knew when and where her next meal would come); but not the morning.

"Got any containers?" She asked to no one in particular, "Either that, or does any one else want the rest of this...?"

Blitz stopped once Jemima reached her. "Hello," She purred in reply, her tail swishing back and forth. The smell of Macavity was still there, but faint. "I'm... new to the area; well, to be more precise, this is my first time actually confronting any of you."

Mikey jumped as Randi slammed her fist on the table. "Containers? They're under the sink...." he muttered, lowering his gaze.
"Randi...is there something you'd like to talk about?" Leo asked calmly.
Starlight remained silent, twirling her fork around in her eggs.

The cabinet under the sink open and a container flew to Randi's hands. "No," She replied, her voice oddly chipper given what had just happened, "Nothing to talk about," and she then began to manually put her food inside and close it. Randi set the container down in front of her and grabbed her plate to take it to the sink to be rinsed off.

Again, if cats could raise eyebrows, Blitz would have. "...I only mean this is the first time I have really met any of you..."

Sensing the tension in the room, Starlight took the opportunity to sneak out of the lair and started to sniff around the sewers, hoping to find a way to the junkyard.
"Boy, I just love these family meetings," Mike grumbled, taking his plate to the sink, not noticing that Starlight left.

Jemima looked back at Demeter and sighed. "Dem's just...been a little nervous...she keeps sensing Macavity everywhere...hopefully she'll loosen up when her daughter returns."

There was the definate sound of a door closing, hinting that Randi had left the lair all together. She walked briskly down the sewer tunnel, her hands clenched in tight fists. "...don't have time for this..." She hissed, memories taking over again. "Cover of night, get the shadow melds and psychics to go first... we'll get in!"

Blitz stood and started walking again towards the junkyard again. "Oh, so she has a kit running around somewhere? Would make any mother nervous not knowing where their kitten is..."

Starlight let out a purr as she watched Randi walk past her. "Jellicle Moon...Jellicle Moon..." She murmured, going the other direction, not wanting to upset the female turtle anymore than she already was.

Mikey walked back into the dining room and groaned upon only seeing Raph and Mars. "Great...now where'd Starlight run off to?"

Jemima paused, placing a paw to her lips. "Well...we know where Starlight...Dem's daughter...is...you see, when she was born, Deuteronomy handed her to Skimble and ordered him to take her to old Warehouse 51 in New York City...he'd wanted her to see the Human World at an early stage..." she explained to Blitz.

[Mars-Chan]

"Don't worry about it, Mike." Mars said, as she then looked at him. "...she goes where she wants to. After all, it's not like she's tied down to you...."




As the queen and the tom finished up their romp for the day, they then turned back to head to the junkyard when Rose paused. "What is it, Ro?" Tug said, as she glanced around. "We're here!" She said. "Where's "here"?" Tug asked, as she nodded to the railroad tracks in front of her. "The railroad yard!" Rose said, as she then leapt up on the tracks above her head and she then waited for Tug, who did the same thing. "...come on! I bet'cha Skimble's just lazing about somewhere!"

Mike looked at Mars. "Yeah, but she's not used to the city, yet..." he started.
Leo entered the room again. "If anything, I bet you she went looking for a way back to the Junkyard..."
"Why?"
"The Jellicle Moon...she kept saying that, if you were paying any attention...Remember what that cat, Skimble told us? When the Jellicle Moon appears, it's almost time for the Jellicle Ball? It get cats crazy around this time..." Leo explained.

Indeed, Skimble was laying ontop of an old, broken down train cart, snoring away, his tail laying on the edge, swishing back and forth as he slept.

" :evilgrin: Heh-heh..." Rosemary chuckled, as she then crept over to the snoring tom and glanced at him slyly. "...time to wake up...." She then pulled her paw back and literally swatted his tail onto his back.


"Yeah, I remember hearing that..." Mars said, looking at her brothers. "...do you think *THAT'S* why she left?"

Skimble jumped up, grabbing his tail in his paws and rubbing his eyes, sleepily. He glanced down at Rosemary and Tugger. "Oh...*yawn* What did you guys want??" he yawned again.

"I'm almost positive that's why she left...we'd better go after her. Er...Mikey, you stay here, in case Randi decides to come back, okay?" Leo suggested.
Mikey just grumbled in reply. Leo turned to Mars. "Let's go, then..."

Starlight waltzed down the city streets, her tail swishing back and forth, excitedly. A tall, man wearing a black suit and dress pants, carrying a briefcase in his hands, watched the young cat waltz by and stared at her. "Jellicle Moon...Jellicle Moon..." he heard her murmur.
The man, Bishop, raised an eyebrow, a bit interested in the creature and started following the cat.

[Mars-Chan]

"Oh, we're just here to annoy you..." Rose giggled, as Tug then huffed. "Huh. Whose this "We" stuff, Rose?" He said with rolling eyes, ignoring the glare given to him by his mate over her shoulder.

"Right." Mars nodded, as she and her brother walked to the door. "...and do me a favor, Mike...don't overdo it on the speedbag again...we don't want anything to happen like the LAST time, now do we?"

Skimble stared at them, then sniffed the air. "I feel that Star is in trouble..." he murmured. "Munk and Dem's not going to like this..."

"Tch...whatever..." It appeared obvious that Randi's behavior had ticked Mike off.

Starlight hadn't walked more than a few more steps when Bishop grabbed her from behind. "LET ME GO!!!!!" she screamed.

Rose and Tug then sniffed the air, and the fur on her back then stood on end.
"NOBODY'S going to hurt her while I'M alive!!" Rose hissed, slinking off toward the junkyard.

As Mars leapt over the rooftops, she suddenly froze at the sound of Star's scream. "Leo!" She said, helpless to not make herself seen. "...Leo!! Oh, crud...what do I do? What do I do?!"

"You guys keep Dem and Munk company...I'm gonna go find Star..." Skimble announced and raced off towards the city. Misto appeared in front of Skimble. "What's the hurry?"

"What? I'm coming with you!" Misto declared, following after Skimble.

Leo took Mars in his arms, protectively. "Calm down, sis..." he whispered, glancing over the edge of the roof. He frowned upon seeing Bishop grab Starlight. "Terrific..." he muttered. With ease, he landed on his feet behind Bishop and set Mars down.

The two then nodded and took off toward the junkyard. They then entered the junkyard and spotted Munk and Demeter.


"Let...the...cat...go!" Mars hissed, accenting each word with a snarl and reaching for her sais. "...Star, you all right?"

Munk's ears twitched and he and Demeter looked up to see Tugger and Rosemary. The Jellicle Leader looked at them with concern. "What's wrong?" Demeter sat up, ears twitching as she awaited a response from their friends.

Bishop sneered in reply. "You think I'll give up that easily, turtle?" Leo growled.
"Don't you DARE talk about my sister like that!" he hissed, kicking Bishop in the stomach, sending him flying backwards. He grabbed Starlight and pulled her behind him and Mars.
"I'm fine...I jus' wanna go home..." the young cat whimpered.

Mars then gathered Starlight in her arms and then looked at her brother and said a simple: "See ya back home." and she took off like a shot, black mask flowing behind ehr.


"It's something about Starlight..." Rosemary said with a shrug of her shoulders, as her mate then nodded. "But don't worry," Tug added. "...Skimble and Quaxo have gone to look for her."

"You expect to tell a Queen that, and not expect her to want to go herself?" A voice came behind Rosemary. Blitz had taken the oportunity of Rose and Tug's distraction to get closer to the group. She couldn't believe that they would dare leave thier kitten in the city like that; that wasn't how Blitz planned to introduced her children to humanity.

Randi didn't know about Bishop, but she did spot Mars running around with Startlight in her arms. Her little 'episode' over, she was running right next to the other female. "What's going on?" She asked, only then to 'overhear' a few thoughts. Randi chose not to repeat them and simply wait for an answer from mars.

[Mars-Chan]

"I'll explain on the way back, Randi..." Mars said, nodding for her friend to follow her. "...come on!"


"Well, obviously, we thought it was a good idea at the time..." Rose said, as she then turned to Blitz. "...but you can't blame us for trying, can you?"

"I suppose not..." She sat down, yawning a bit. "Well, what does the kit look like? Perhaps I could try and help too?"

"..." Randi simply followed Mars.

Starlight looked up at Randi first, then back at Mars. "..." she bit her bottom lip and kept silent.

Bishop sneered at Leonardo, wiping the blood off his lips. "Heh...you know, once I have my eyes on my victims, I never leave them alone," he smirked.
"Well, I guess this time is an exception...Bishop," Leo sneered back. He sent a flying dragon kick at Bishop's chest area, which Bishop dodged.
"What the shell?" Leo muttered, setting his sights on Quaxo and Skimbleshanks. This was when Bishop made his exit. "I'll be back for the cat later!" he yelled over his shoulder, disappearing on the rooftops.
"Just what did that human mean by that? I thought you were taking care of Starlight, Leonardo!" Skimble demanded.
"I AM taking care of Starlight!! My sister and I just found her; she left our Lair without us noticing and we went looking for her; my sister's taking her back home as we speak!"
Quaxo stared at him, ears twitching a bit. "She's okay, then? That human didn't hurt her, did he?"
Leo shook his head. "Guys, we're protecting her, you don't have to worry..."
Skimble shook his head and sighed. "Okay...come on, let's get back to the Junkyard..." the two left.
Leonardo placed his swords back in their sheaths and ran off to find Mars and Starlight.

Demeter looked worried. "Star's in trouble?" she murmured.
Munk placed a paw on his mate's arm and turned to Blitz. "Star's a bit different from the rest of us...you'll recognize her...she has a white stare birthmark on her forehead..." Munk explained.

The cat nodded twice and turned to leave with out a word. As soon as she was out of sight of the other cats, Macavity appeared next to her. "What was that all about?" He sneered at her, "I was hoping you'd actually do something to them!"

The cat did a half shrug as she walked, "We're going to the city."

"Why?"

"You'll see."

Randi reached the door first, opening it for Mars. "I need more of an explaination, Mars... I haven't exactly been around long enough to really know who it was that attacked her and I don't want to delve into your mind any more than I have to!"

[Mars-Chan]

"The guy that attacked Star is named Bishop. The boys an' I've delt with him many times before." Mars sighed, as she then rested her back against the wall and let Star roam freely about the house, after letting the cat out of her arms. "...about Starlight, they found her in the wearhouse on 51st street...I think." Mars then raised her eyes to the celing to think.

Starlight slunk over to Mikey who was on the couch, playing video games. He hadn't noticed they'd walked in until Starlight sat down beside him. "There you are, Star..." he gave her a short smile.
"Hmm....what's Mike doin?" she asked, playfully.
"Playing Space Invaders 4...you can watch if you want..." Star just nodded and sat back.

Leo entered the Lair just then. He stared at Randi, gave her a small smile and looked at Mars. "Everything okay?" he asked.

"Everything's fine." Mars replied with a nod, as she then walked over to the fridge and grabbed two water bottles and tossed Leo one. "...so, what'd Bishop want? Not that I CARE or anything..."

Leo rubbed his temples, catching the water bottle in his free hand. "Just to toss in the fact that he's now after Starlight for one of his experiments...we have to watch our backs more often now..." he muttered, taking a drink.

Starlight overheard Leo and her ears twitched. "Star being experimented on?" She whispered.

Leo let out a moan and went over to Star, giving the kit a gentle hug. "No, no, Star...you won't get experimented on, I'll make sure of that..." he whispered.

[Mars-Chan]

"Not just you, Leo..." Mars said, as she then knelt by the kit and stroked her back gently. "...WE'LL look after her. So help me, I'll make sure nothing happens to her...even if it kills me!!"

"But...the Jellicle Moon...the ball..." Star murmured, getting anxious.
Leo paused, not knowing what to say.

"Don't worry, Star..." Mars gently said, as she then looked at the kit. "...I'll make sure you get to where you need to be when the jellicle moon rises. I'm sure you miss all of your friends."

"Star misses her parents..." she whispered, staring down at the floor.
"I know you miss your parents, Star...you'll see them again when you return to your home..." Leo added, taking the young kit's paws into his hands.
"Star returning home, but Star come back to her real home here..." Starlight gave them a smile and turned her eyes back to the television screen.

Randi stayed silent throughout all the reassurances. She'd do her part to protect Star when the time came, but saying she was going to do so wouldn't mean a thing until she actually did it. She turned her gaze to Michaelangelo. He was expecting her to talk. Instead, the female balanced on one foot, then the other before turning to go into the Dojo.

It wasn't long before they, (well, Macavity, rather), spotted Quaxo and Skimble. "Ooh, time for a little fun." Macavity grinned, baring his teeth.

"Don't even think about it."

He gave his queen a shocked looked, "Wha' do ya mean don't think about it? I haven't been able to torture them f-..."

"You heard me. If you can't act like a respectable cat for once, then skat!" Blitz snorted and started towards the two cats.

"...why did I ever pick you as a queen." He snorted, sitting down to watch.

Raph stood by the couch, silent. All that needed to be said, was said. He smiled at Star, thinking back at the night when Leo and Mikey had walked through the door with her. Oh, so many memories...

Star smiled wildly at Mikey, then looked at Raph. "What does Raphy think?" she asked, a small smile on the kit's face.

Skimble sniffed the air and spotted Blitz. Quaxo looked past the queen and saw Macavity; he sneered at the tom. "Macavity..." he growled.
"Calm down, Quaxo..." Skimble held out his paw to stop his friend. Skimble turned his gaze to Blitz. "Hello..." he started.

Raph blinked at Starlight, then gave the kitten a smile.

"Hey, you know I love havin' you here," he replied playfully, patting her on the head, "Who else'll be here to look after the "little one"?" He blinked, while pointing to Mikey.

Starlight smiled brightly and hugged Raph. "Thanks, Raphy...see, Leo? I can stay here..." Mike rolled his eyes at Raph.
"Little one?" he repeated, raising an eye ridge. He sighed and set down the controller. "I'm going to talk to Randi..." he murmured, heading for the dojo.

Randi sat herself in the middle of the dojo and closed her eyes. She let her mind expand out wards, spreading out to 'touch' the other items in the room. The swords, daggers, sais... she lifted them all, bringing them to herself. Concentration. Maybe this would calm her, stop the visions? Randi made the swords in circular motions, the blade outside and then brought them closer to her body. The daggers next. She positioned their blades, mentally, outwards and allowed them to twirl. The same with the Sais. That done, she allowed them to move around her in an indistinct, ever changing pattern. Faster, faster... concentrate...

"Hello." Blitz purred in reply, "I was told that there was a bit of... trouble with a fellow Queen's kit, is everything alright now?"

Michelangelo poked his head in the doorway of the dojo. It appeared that Randi was concentrating on the weapons...he decided to stay silent and watch her work. "...."

Leo just sighed and smiled softly at Starlight.

Skimble's ears twitched as he stared at Blitz. "Ah, yes, everything's fine, now...the kit's safe with her protectors," he replied.

The cat nodded, but then frowned. "Protectors? Who are these protectors?" Having been a city cat before she came to the junkyard/train yard, Blitz had seen a lot and also didn't see who could 'protect' a true feline. Felines were independent, and a true cat could leave a place with out anyone ever noticing until it was too late if they wanted to.

The circling blades cut through the air closer to her body, closer but the suddenly stopped. Her eyes opened slowly, the blades till floating around her. ~What now, Michaelangelo.~ She asked him, ~Come to complain bout how angry you are with me?~

Skimble cleared his throat again. "They're mutants...I was given their leader's word that he and his brothers would protect her," he replied.
Quaxo shrugged. "You'd recognize them...if they came out of the shadows, that is...they're ninja's...mutant ninja turtles," Quaxo explained; Skimble nudged him.

Mike merely shook his head and took a few steps closer towards Randi. "No...I just wanted to see how you were doing. I'm not mad at you...just worried..."

Blitz narrowed her eyes. "You gave her to... reptiles? Well, I suppose mutant turtles are better than snakes or dogs -- or some humans -- right?"

"Or any humans," Macavity sneered behind Blitz, "I've seen these turtles you speak of. They fight these black-clad ninjas, I think they're called the foot. Well, at least the last time I checked they were still in some sort of 'war'."

Blitz's ears flattened against her head, "You gave her two a group in the middle of a war?!"

All the blades turned downwards and fell stystematically about her in a nearly even circle. "You have nothing to be worried about." She stood, "I'm going to be leaveing again soon. The weapons floated back to thier proper places, "I think I have some... business to take care of."

Skimble glared at Macavity. "She's fine! Leonardo gave his word he'd protect Starlight, and we trust him..."
Quaxo nodded, agreeing with Skimbleshanks. "Besides, their little war is over for now."

Mike paused a few inches in front of Randi and looked at her. "You're coming back, aren't you?" he asked, softly. "Maybe I could go with you..." he shrugged, silently hoping she'd agree.

"I... uh... I don't think that's a good idea." She replied, fumbling with something on her belt, "I don't think you'd like the sort of 'meeting' I have to go to."

"Ah... it's over?" Macavity stepped past Blitz to glare down at the two cats. He was nearly the size of a cat and a half and his supposed queen was half his size. "I'm heading down to the city anyways," Said he, "I hope you don't mind if my Queen and myself do a little... investigating of our own. Come on, Blitz!" He started towards the city.

Michelangelo let out a sigh and rubbed the back of his head. "I...um...so...when do you think you'll be coming back?" he asked, looking away from her.

"Shouldn't we stop them?" Quaxo asked.
Skimble glared at Macavity who had soon disappeared from his sight. "No...let's just head back home...Starlight WILL be safe..." he assured the black and white cat.

"...uh..." Randi knew Mikey had a crush on her, which was exactly why she tried to keep a distance from him emotionally... from all of the turtles. "I... I don't know when I'll be back." She replied, "Could be a couple of days, could be a week, I might not ever get to come back."

'Especially if I get caught... or if I die.' She thought.

"So, when were you going to tell me you were going to the city?" Blitz asked, following her mate.

"Shortly after I made the decision." He replied, "We're going to the city."

"And what sort of investigating will we do?"

"Like I said," Said he, "I've seen them before, it's easy to ignore a cat you know..." He told Blitz. "They went into the sewers near Eastman and Laird. There's an old body shop of some kind near there."

"Oh...I see..." Michelangelo murmured. The orange clad turtle turned and paused at the door, trying to find something else to say before Randi took her leave. "I...guess this is...goodbye, then..."

Starlight's ears twitched as she felt the sadness in the dojo. She let out a soft purr. Leo stareed at her. "Something wrong, Star?"

[Jade Green]

Randi's tongue clicked, "I'm not leaving yet... I still gotta prepare, ya know?" She stood on the toes of her feet and let herself down again, "I'll let ya know when I have to leave again. CHances are, I'll be back... don't let it worry you much."

Starlight shook her head, smiling brightly at Leo. "Nothing's wrong!"

Mike nodded, a small smile on his face. "I just, you know...worry about you and I just wish you'd let me go with you to this meeting of yours..." he started, finally looking back at Randi.

Star, then sniffed the air, her ears twitching ferociously. "Someone's coming..." she let out a small hiss as she smelled Blitz and Macavity nearing the sewers.(A/N: Yes, I know she hasn't met them yet, but remember, cats can smell others' scent :D )

The black feline smirked at him, "Oh no you don't, you go first."

Harrumphing, Macavity slipped in. "What I get for trying to be a propper Tom..." She followed behind him with out a word. "Hrm..."

"No one's here, Macavity..." Blitz crossed her arms.


Randi shook her head. "Yeah, I know you worry, and that's why I"m telling you not to. There's a reason why I can't have you go to the meeting, and you just gotta understand that it's for your own good..."

Starlight let out another purr as the feeling became stronger. Leonardo glanced towards the entrance way of the Lair. "...."

Mikey nodded and walked over to Randi. "I just want you to be safe..." was his reply as he gave her a small kiss.

A young figure glided through the sewers, its white skin visible even in the dark. The femine figure has light brown 'patches' around her body, a speckled turtle shell on her back. She made her way, quietly down the corridor, a cloth bag slung over her shoulder. Seeing a faint light up ahead, the girl quickened her pace, before stopping to make sure she was at the right place. Peeking inside the doorway, a smile spread across her face. "Hiyas everybody!" she said with an even brighter smile, "Remember mwah? Oh! Hey!" She gave Star a smile and the peace symbol. "I come in peace?..."

[Jade Green]

Randi knew the kiss was coming, but not in time enough to do anything about it. Instead, she gave him a slightly surprised look and stepped back. Safe, her? "Safety isn't an option for me right now." She muttered, "Hasn't been for a while now and won't be for a while to come... I think I need another walk."

"...Didn't you say something about the sewers?" Macavitie's Queen asked as she watched him sniff around.

"I know they're around here."

[Taking Don since other guy hasn't posted]

The door to Don's lab opened, he had been so deep in his work that he hadn't heard any of the ruckus before; however, he was back in the world of the living now, and was now aware of the problem over head. "Guys, we've got a pair of trespassers in the garage." He pointed upwards, "Think some of your relatives came to visit, Star. And..." At that time, the door opened to show Ana. "...Ana's back."

Leonardo nodded to Ana and glanced back at Donatello. "Star did sense someone coming..."

Star looked at Donatello, ears still twitching. "Star's relatives not here...someone else..." she murmured.

Mike stared back at Randi a bit suprised, then lowered his eyes to the ground. "I'll...just be in my room..." he muttered.

Randi let out a huff, ~What do you want me to do, huh?~ She asked in Mikey's mind, ~Turn into a puddle of giggly goo just because you kissed me? Float on cload nine and sing 'I feel Pretty'? Want me to go dancing in the rain? So what if I didn't react how you'd hope, it ain't the end of the world you know.~ There was a moment of 'silence', ~If you really want to know what's going on, wait until after I leave and ask Master Splinter... he'll explain.~

"Well... Don scratched his head, "They're Jellicle, alright. and one of them is huge..."

"Well, gee, wonder when the time's coming for you to leave then, huh?" Michelangelo spat at Randi before turning to leave. Screw this...I'M going for a walk! he thought angrily, leaving the lair in a rush, not even noticing Ana.

Star nodded, then noticed Mikey leave. She shrugged it off and looked back at Don. "Yes, but they're not my parents...I know their scent anywhere..." her voice trailed off.

Leo tilted his head. "Think we should go investigate, Don?"

Ana wandered in, looking at Randi and Mikey going their separate ways. "Did i miss something?" she asked, not really wanting to know but did it anyway. "Am I here at a bad time?"

[Jade Green]

Randi walked swifty after Michaelangelo, "In that case, don't bother!" She stood at the door, watching him leave.

Star nodded, then noticed Mikey leave. She shrugged it off and looked back at Don. "Yes, but they're not my parents...I know their scent anywhere..." her voice trailed off.

Leo tilted his head. "Think we should go investigate, Don?"

"Er..." Don, who had been caught up in watching the scene that some how reminded him of 'Days of Our Lives', looked to Leo, "Well, uh..."

Ana wandered in, looking at Randi and Mikey going their separate ways. "Did i miss something?" she asked, not really wanting to know but did it anyway. "Am I here at a bad time?"

Well, Ana didn't recieve a conventional answer, at least not from Randi. Instead, the other female turtle turned and let out an enraged scream that -- to Donatello's amazement -- shook everything in the lair. Everything then went silent and Randi dissapeared down the tunnel, going the oposite way than Mikey.

"...As I was saying, yes, we should investigate..." Don finally replied, "Think someone should go after them too?"


Up in the garage above the lair, Blitz would not let go of Macavity's waist. The sudden rumbling and what had sounded like a muffled scream had surprised the Queen. "S-so much anger an woe!" She whined to the Tom.

"That's it," He said, "We're going in the sewers -- let go of me!"

Raph looked to the screen with the Jellicles. Most of all, he wanted to go look at these cats, but it seemed the places had already been taken.

"Fine, I'll go check on Randi," he muttered, turning around to leave in her direction. He hadn't heard Mikey and her discuss, not before Randi had cried out and left.

"Let me show you them." Don told Leo, but by the time he reached the survelance screen again, the two felines were gone. "Damn!" He groaned, "Well, they were there!"

Randi continued quickly down the tunnel. "Might as well leave now..." She hissed, "Why not? Mitchel can easily supply me with everything I need... Michaella already gave me the information... all I need to is go!"

Blitz made a sour face as she peered down the open man hole where her Tom waited. "Maybe going into the sewers wasn't a good idea?"
"Just get in here, you!" Macavity hissed and started down the tunnel. Soon, Blitz was right behind him.

"Randi, wait!" Raphael called, running after the female turtle.

"Listen," he stated, "I don't know what happened between you and Mikey, but it sounded - wrong..."

"But why was Michelangelo the target?" he called after her, "He isn't exactly the easiest turtle to tick off."

Michelangelo walked briskly over to the old warehouse where he and Leo had found Starlight and leaned his shell against the wall, his gaze focused on the ground. Why do I keep putting myself through this? I can't keep this up...That's it, I'm done. Michelangelo is never gonna fall in love again., he vowed silently, grinding his teeth together.

"Good idea." Replied Don. "Mars, you stay here with Star, Leo and I are going to investigate."

"Uh, I gotta go for a while. I come back at a better time." Ana said, smiling fakely before walking out of the lair. ~Maybe I should just jump a airplane and fly back to Costa Rica. This wasn't the best time to visit...~ she thought, wandering down the sewers.

"Well, well, well...look at the pathetic excuse for a mutant," a muffeled male's voice snickered to the left of Michelangelo. Mike looked up and groaned upon seeing a handful of Foot Ninja's.
"Great, what do you creeps want?" he hissed, taking out his nunchaku's.
"What do you think? We heard your keeping a mutant cat, and Master Shredder's interested in seeing the feline..."
"Looks like you goons picked the wrong time to mess with me..." With a swing of his nunchaku's and a flying dragon kick, he took down three of the foot ninja's. With another left leg sweep, he took down the last four. "..." he let out a final growl and began walking away from the warehouse.

"Okay, I think it's best if we take the tunnel that leads to the nearest exit closest to the garage," Leo murmured as he and Don walked out of the Lair.

Ana, pulled herself from the hole into the garage floor. The yelling and klanging of weapons made her come running. "Good god! Mikey must really be p****d!" she muttered pulling herself up, scanning over the fallen Foot ninjas. She started to walk out of the garage, anxious to get away from all this violence. Walking through a dark alleyway, Ana was suddenly blocked from her way.

"Ahhh... Look at the wittle sea turtle girl..." he cooed obnoxiously. Ana scowled at them, trying to push by them, "DOnt' leave so soon! We need a dummy to practice on!" The punk grabbed her by the neck and squeezed.

"Let go of me, ya' bastard!" she shouted, kicking him in the groin. He fell ove rin pain, groaning.

"No one disses the Purple Dragons!" one of his buddies said, standing in front of the fallen comrad.

"Weaklings," Mike muttered, letting the guy go at last. He stood up and walked over to Ana, not looking at her. "You all right, Ana?" he held out his hand, his gaze still on the ground. "Come on, I'll walk you back to the Lair. Donny and Master Splinter will help you heal."

Ana took his hand and stood up. She kept her hand on her arm, staining it a crimson red. "God Mikey. I'm sorry about causing so much trouble." she said hesitantly.

Randi shook her head, "It isn't that easy..." She looked at him, "have you ever loved someone so much that you'd do anything... anything if it ment thier happiness? Even if it was detremental to your health? Even if it meant..." She shrugged his hand off of her arm and looked directly at him, "Emotional ties like that... I can't have them. I... was once engaged, did you know that? Of course you didn't." she shook her head again, "He, uh, died... and it sent me through an emotional and mental hell..."

Don move silently in the sewers along side Leonardo. He pulled out a device and looked at it. Not too far away in another tunnel were the body heat signatures of Raphael and Randi, and up ahead were two body heat signatures of two mamals...

"No, I haven't. All that have meant something to me was my family..." He looked away, closing his eyes to think.

"I didn't know about your past, but - It explains a lot." He looked back at the girl.

"Just remember, I'm always here, if you need someone to talk to..."

"Thank you for everything, April," Splinter smiled, exiting the red head's apartment.
"My pleasure, Sensei. Maybe on your next visit, you can bring the guys and Starlight. I'm sure she'd love to have a tour of my place," April replied, returning the smile.
"I'll keep that in mind." Splinter turned and started walking away from the apartment and stopped upon seeing Mikey and Ana not too far away. "Michelangelo?" He whispered, seeing blood on his youngest son's left hand.
Mike stopped and stared at Splinter. "Sensei...Ana's injured real bad. A lot of stuff has happened, and..."
"We will talk about what happened after we get Miss Ana back inside the Lair," Splinter nodded, holding out a furry paw for Ana's hand.

Ana hesitantly took his paw with her good hand, so she wouldn't get blood on him. She didn't know what to think, everything was happening so fast...

Splinter helped Ana climb down the ladder, Michelangelo following closely behind them. "Come, child," He urged, his voice almost in a whisper.
Mikey stopped, sensing Randi and Raph nearby. He closed his eyes. I'm sorry, Randi, if you really must go, then I guess I can only wish you luck...I love you, he sent the female turtle his thoughts and continued walking beside Splinter and Ana.
"Something wrong, my son?"
Mike shook his head. "It's nothing, really, Sensei," he replied as they neared the Lair.

As they were walking towards the lair, Ana fell, her legs crumbling under her. Her legs failed to hold her up.

"Ana!" Splinter kneeled down beside her; he noticed Michealangelo refused to look at her. "Michealangelo, please, assist me with Miss Ana!"
Mike grimaced at the harshness in Splinter's voice, yet he complied and picked Ana up in his arms. Splinter stared at Mike as they came close to the Lair, noticing his Son's eyes were focused straight ahead.

"We shall talk about your behavior later after we heal Miss Ana's injuries," Splinter announced, entering the lair first.
"Yes, Sensei..."
Starlight's ears perked up when the door opened and Splinter and Mike walked in, with Ana in Mike's arms. Splinter motioned for Mike to place Ana on the couch. "Please, retrieve the first aid kit, my son," he ordered.

Ana knew she was being picked up, she wanted to object but she held her self back. Once they sat her on the couch, she held her breathe, hesitant and embarrassed at what happened. "I'll leave as soon as my wounds are treated, Mikey." she said in a calm voice.

She frowned, catching the thoughts Michaelangelo had directed at her. The turtle's heart clenched and she winced visibly. "...appreciate the gesture. Uh, I'm going to visit a few associats of mine, you can come with if you'd like... you might actually like them."

Meanwhile, Don waited along with Leo as the two felines neared them. They had just come into sight when the male stopped and sniffed the air. "I smell 'em."

"How can you smell anything in this place?" Whined the female, wrinkling up her nose.

"Try again." He gave her a slight sneer, "The leader has a distinct musk about him." The female grumbled and sniffed again. "How many of them did you say there were?"

"Four, that I know of." Replied the male, "Maybe a female or two."

Don gave him a slightly annoyed look. He had stopped, he was using stealth. Why did it seem that sometimes Leo thought that Don didn't know how to be a ninja? "I know this." He replied in Ninja's cant, deciding not to speak verbally for the two felines might hear. The purple-clad turtle then drifted more into the shadows, wandering if he should get a closer look.

Macavity knew that Leo was close, his scent, even covered up by the sewage, was still fresh. He motioned for Blitz to stay behind him and he started walking again. Claws ready to extend at a moment's notice.

Raph smiled at Randi. The female turtle was actually warming up to him. All thoughts about the Jellicles in the garage were gone. Afterall, his brothers could take care of them selves, he knew that.

"Sure," he replied, "That sounds great."

Nodding, Ana took the bandages gingerly, and walked out the lair, into the darkness. She walked along for about 5 minutes before she heard Rapheal's voice. "Wonderful..." she thought walking towards the voices, "Well, might as well know I'm leaving..."

"I know you're there, blue masked one." Macavity grinned, showing his sharp canines, "Why don't you come out and meet us? Or would you rather hide in the shadows with your brother?"

"I didn't want to challenge them..." Blitz hissed to him, "Just see if they were worthy an' if they'd bring the kitten in time." Don clenched his Bo tightly, not liking this at all.



"Alright, follow me..." She turned and lead Raphael down the tunnel and ultimately away from Ana whom she didn't even realize was near by. Soon she crawled out of a man hole and adjusted her hat. "Do me a favor though..." She said to Raph, "If they ask, say we went to visit some friends of mine, but don't say who, or where or what happens... okay?"

"We don't care about the Kit. I simply came because I have been wanting to actually meet you and yours face to face." Macavity, who was over six feet tall stepped closer to Leo.

Splinter pushed open Michealangelo's door and stared at his son who layed on his bed, staring up at the ceiling. The rat turned off the boombox, causing Mike to sit up instantly. "Oh...Sensei..."

Randi lead him through alley way after alley way and reached the back door of an unknown shop. She knocked three times, paused and knocked again. "Who be it!" Shouted a foreign sounding voice on the other side.

"Colorful and friend!" Came Randi's answer and, after a moment, the door opened. There, standing before them was a dark eyed, dark haired man.

"Who he?"

"Raphael." Randi replied moving to step inside. The man side stepped to let her and Raph in.

"Raph, this is Mishka."

"Ah! You too are mutant!" He grinned closing the door and offered a hand to Raph, "I too are mutant!"

Macavity's ears perked up. "That would be interesting..." Blitz groaned slightly, not wanting to stay in the sewer any longer. The Tom ignored her and motioned for Leo and Don to follow. Don wasn't sure this was a very good idea.

Once the door was closed, the human looking Mishka fumbled with something on his belt and his body flickered to show something beneath. It flickered again and was then completely gone to reveal a gray-white ram. He winked at Raphael and followed Randi into a back room where three more mutants sat. A ewe, the same species as Mishka, a cat, and what looked like the mix between a human and a iguana. All three gave Raphael a startled look and the cat gave a small wave. "'Allo."

"Ah, Tezlof..." Said the Ewe, "When do you leave this time."

"The way things are goin' might leave as soon as tomorrow night..." Randi muttered sitting down.

"You leave tomorrow?" Mishka asked, "We come too then!"

"Mishka..." She rubbed her cheek.

"I say always, always I say... you hear me." He began to rant, pushing a button to reveal several choices of melee weapons, guns, and etc. "You listen. Act, you do not... I say you lead, we follow!" The other three nodded.

"You are not only mutant here, we all mutant. As great man once say, 'together we fall, devided we stand'." This caused the Ewe and the feline to giggle while the hybrid rolled her eyes.

"You mean 'Devided we fall, together we stand'." The hybrid replied, sounding feminine.

"I say that, no?" Mishka furrowed his 'eye brows'. "What I say? I say what you say! Graysight we should-..."

Randi groaned, rubbing her temple. "Fight together, fight as one... yes, yes, yes... I know. I know... but..."

"You!" Mishka pointed to Raphael, "She good leader, no?" He didn't give Raph a chance to answer, "She trained soldier, she know Militia, she know weakness. With her we fight them and win!"

"Mishka!" Rand snarled, giving him an angry glare from behind her shades. "He doesn't even know what you're talking about!"

"Hrm??? Leo? Donny?" Starlight purred. The kit jumped slightly, seeing the other two cats that followed them inside.

Starlight purred silently, staring at Macavity. There was just something about that jellicle the kit didn't trust fully.
"What is going on in here?" Splinter demanded, walking out of Michelangelo's room.
"Oh! Sensei!" Leo gave a short bow as the old rat came into view.

"It's not about keeping a secret." Randi shook her head, "It's about the fact that you don't need to know..."

"Tezlof..." The Ewe spoke, "He is mutant, the right is his to know."

Randi sighed and then spoke in Russain to the Ewe who said something firm and calming back in the same language. "Fine..." She finally said and looked to Raph. She opened her mouth to speak but then frowned, "Uh, where should we start from?"

"The mutant militia is the military group for a group of islands in the pacific ocean." The cat began, "The Benning islands. As you can guess by the name, they are mutant in nature... like us."

"They not all start out mutant. Some like us." Mishka nodded, "Born human or animal made mutant one way or another... some like Randi too."

"Born human, mutated for the special abilities that I harbor. Pyschokinetics..." Randi muttered. "They run and control the island and are on constant search for other mutants as prospective citizens and militia members... they are also after me for several crimes, most of which I did not commit."


Macavity's eyes narrowed in on the rat. "That is your sensei!? he's nothing but a piece of over sized meat!" He took a step towards Master Splinter only to have his tail be pulled on by Blitz.

"If the turtles are as good as they are, that rat can kill you with one stroke!" SHe hissed.

The hybrid was right, but so was Randi... Raph kept his mouth shut. This wasn't his home field, though it was about fighting. But it was about a war, he had never been introduced to.

"I was an Esso," Randi argued, "I was trained to go in alone, do my job and get out..." She chuckled darkly at Raphael, "That's something you an' I have in common."

"This is war different! They know you, an army against one. Unfair odds." Mishka replied, "Let us do more than offer guns... I am sure he would want to help too!" Mishka motioned to Raph.

Splinter scanned his eyes over the two felines and started to say something when Michaelangelo stepped out of his room and entered the living room. "Mikey!!" Starlight smiled, happily.

Splinter cleared his throat, watching his youngest son stare at the two feline's. "Why are you two wandering the sewers?" the rat inquired. Leonardo was about to respond for the feline's when Splinter held up a hand to silence him; he'd wanted to hear from Macavity and Blitz.

Leonardo looked to Don, then back to Splinter, wondering if he should tell him about their run in with Bishop when Starlight had tried to find her way to the junkyard. But, he decided to keep silent.

Starlight, who was standing behind Splinter, noticed Blitz coming closer towards her and heard her purr. "Hmm?" the kit tilted her head, ears twitching.

"You're right." Don confirmed, "Who knows what it might do to you..."

Macavity swished his tail back and forth, looking to Blitz. She had addled up next to Star now. "They were right." She said to her, "It would be easy to recognize you... My son would have been a little older than you by now..."

"Just out of curiousity, when is the ball?" Don asked.

"It is in the time of the Jellicle moon," Blitz replied, "Which is not tonight but is soon coming." Don frowned, not liking the answer.

"You mean the game?" Raph said thoughtfully. His brothers probably didn't miss him, since they were used to him strolling on the streets alone. And, to think of it, it sounded pretty fun.

"Whoo hoo! Finally some one to play with!" The cat grinned, tossing him one of the control. (I can't remember what his name was, drat!) "I'm the white team!"

Randi made it to one of the old gothic cathedrals and sat next to a gargoyle. "So, Fredrick, what should I do...?"

"Just out of curiousity, when is the ball?" Don asked.

"It is in the time of the Jellicle moon," Blitz replied, "Which is not tonight but is soon coming." Don frowned, not liking the answer.

"But after the ball, I want to return here..." Starlight purred, a frown crossing the young kit's face. "I'd like to visit my parents, but this is my real home..."

She looked at Don and the others before looking back at Blitz and Macavity.

The Jellicle tom looked to his queen and then back to Star before looking at the rest. "Fine, we go."

Mike smirked and patted Star's head. "Starlight, you KNOW you're more than welcome to live with us!" Starlight purred, contedely and raised her eyes as Leonardo stood. "Leo?"

The door to the lair opened and in stepped Randi. She paused a few feet from it and adjusted her shades. "Did anyone else see the two Jellicles wandering about the sewer arguing?"

"Last I heard, he was playing Halo." Randi pulled off her shades with her eyes closed and began to clean them.

"With Mika. Sweet kid, Star here might like him... Nearly Jellicle, if you catch my drift."

Mike gave a short nod to this and finally ended his game. "Anyone wanna give a go at this?" he asked. He stood up, not waiting for an answer and made his way back to his room, closing the door behind him.
Starlight stayed silent as she watched him leave.

Mika blinked, "Well... is he any good at games? I've been wanting to have an all nighter gamer party, but there aren't many mutants in New York my age."

"We are not in Nevada any more, Mika." Mrs. Mishka pointed out, "We told you few are here."

Ten minutes later, Randi stepped out of the bathroom with a towel wrapped around her waist. Her skin, still slightly damp, shined in the light. "About time." Don, who had been waiting for his turn, sighed and stepped in. Before he closed the door, he looked to Randi. "Hey, where's Raph again?"

"Playing video games." Randi replied.

"...Oh... Randi?"

"Maybe you should..."

"Be nicer to Michelangelo?" Randi snapped, "You don't the reasons for it, so keep out of it."

Mike layed down on his bed and closed his eyes. Why did she seem seem so upset when I kissed her? True, I don't know what happened in her past, but... he shook his head and began to drift off to sleep.

Meanwhile, Starlight had taken the opportunity to try out Mikey's game. Everytime the game screen flashed the words: "GAME OVER", she let out a low growl. "How does Mikey play this game, anyways? I can't even get past level 3!" she turned off the game in a huff and sat back.

"Wish I could help you, doll." Randi sat down next to Star with a huff, "But games like this and I don't get along. It usually ends with me throwing the console against the wall and I'm sure Michelangelo wouldn't appreciate that."

Raph was lead into the kitchen where Mika made sure that the turtle sat down next to him. The Hibred, whose name he still didn't know, sat down on the other side of him. Mrs. Mishka set out the food, There was a huge salad and other vegitables but also a plate full of fried chicken.

Mr. Mishka sat down at one side and his wife took the other. "Now we bow our heads in prayer..."

It was a stupid thing to ask yourself, but it somehow seemed weird to thank someone, you didn't believe in. But it was the most right thing to do, wasn't it? He bowed his head like the others, all the time keeping an eye on what Mrs. Mishka did.

'Geez, who'd think, I'd act like Leo...' a small voice smirked in his head.

It was a stupid thing to ask yourself, but it somehow seemed weird to thank someone, you didn't believe in. But it was the most right thing to do, wasn't it? He bowed his head like the others, all the time keeping an eye on what Mrs. Mishka did.

'Geez, who'd think, I'd act like Leo...' a small voice smirked in his head.

Mrs. Mishka held out her hands, and the ones sitting next to her took them. The Hibred and Mika both offered a hand to Raph. Once he took it, the prayer began. "Dear lord, we thank you for all that you have provided for us today and every day. We thank you for what will come and for all those we consider friends and allies. We pray for Miranda, and ask that you be with her when she will allow no one else to be. We pray for Raphael, a new friend in our midsts and ask that you guide him lovingly as you have us. We pray for our enemies, Lord, for you have taught us to 'love thy enemy'. Now please, bless this food as you have blessed us and let it be nurishment to our bodies. Amen."

"Amen." Mishka said.

"Amen!" Cried Mika, "And dig in!"

"...right..." Muttdered the hibred.

"Wish I could help you, doll." Randi sat down next to Star with a huff, "But games like this and I don't get along. It usually ends with me throwing the console against the wall and I'm sure Michelangelo wouldn't appreciate that."

"So why are you going to Chicago?" Don asked, arms crossed.

"Yes."

"To visit old friends."

Don blinked, "And that's a reason not to want Mikey to go?"

"You take my words too literally."

Starlight sighed, still upset, then shrugged it off. "So...why Randi so upset?" she asked, innocently.

Raph grabbed the hands offered to him. One thing hit him though - how can you 'love your enemy'? It didn't make sense to him at all, but he held it to himself. When the prayer was over, he couldn't help but smile at Mika.

"I'm not upset." Randi replied with a grunt, "I'm annoyed. I'll get over it."

"She's upset." Don confirmed, "She doesn't want Mike to come for some reason, and judging from her responce about 'visiting friends' I'm guessing that-..."

"Leave your logical deductions for someone else!"

Mika began shoveling in the food, while Mr. and Mrs. Mishka began to eat their salads slowly and began talking softly in Russian. The hibred looked to Raph with disinterested eyes and finally said the first thing actually directed to him. "So, how do you know the 'almight and infamous' Graysight?"

"It's a long story," Raph muttered, "We bumped into her on one of our night patrols in the city..."

Starlight tilted her head in confusion. "Randi worried about Mikey?" the kit asked, innocently.

"Randi seems to 'bump' into a lot of people." The hibred replied, "She makes friends in the oddest places." She ate a bit of food, "But she doesn't seem to understand that these friends want to help her..."

"Us especially." Mr. Mishka added, "Mutant Miltia giving us problems too... one cannot fight war alone, yes."

"She just doesn't want anyone hurt." Mrs. Mishka replied softly.

"And so she going to get herself hurt... killed!" He put down his fork, "Or vorse! Captured! I say I have enough of this sillliness! I help her no more until she let me come with!"

[Mars-Chan]

"Well," Mars said, as she then turned to the door to make a hasty exit. "...I would love to stay and chat, really I would, but my dog needs me and it's been a long day. See ya'll." With that, Mars slipped out of the door and down the sewer to her home.

"Hm... Yeah, she does a lot of things by herself," Raph commented in a thoughtful voice. He couldn't blame her. He was the solitary type too, but he had learned that his brothers were always there for him. The trail of thoughts made the young turtle quiet for a while. Wouldn't Leo have loved those thoughts....

As Mars strolled into her room, closing the door behind her, she was greeted by Munkstrap, her 2-year-old German Shepard. "Hello, pup..." She said, kneeling by her dog and scratching him behind the ears as he whined sofltly. "...did ya miss me, huh?"
