Earthquake in the Big Apple

The title explains it all :). Even though it is unlikely, I thought it would be fun after I saw this movie called "Earthquake in New York" about a week ago. I will be playing Kawanaha, or Ana, to many of you. All original characters are open.

Well, Savannah's the one who created the RP, so the most logical thing would be her to start it off... Maybe she's just forgotten.

Kawanaha silently roamed the sewers, her mind distant. SHe had come up to New York for a week or so, since Rapheal wanted her to [*evil grin*]. Her wahite, pale skin was outlined by the light light coming from the vents above, her light brown pattern visible.

Raph jumped across the rooftops of New York. over the past week, Kawanaha has definatly livened up life at the lair. it felt good to have some *ahem* feminine company about

"Hey Raph, wait for me!" the feline called behind him, flying closer to the turtle.

Casey follows the Turtles and they go to Shredder's hideout. The Foot Clan is very suprised. ((Hey who's gonna play Shredder?))

-Uh, just a suggestion cowabunga, please try not to speed up the roleplay too fast or playing other peoples' characters.-

Ana, as she was commonly called, looked up at the sun, missing the hot rays from down in the hispanic Costa Rica. She strayed from the guys, still feeling wierd about being around other mutants besides Angel and Rapheal and a few others. Ana still did not trust Raph's brothers although they were very generous to her, welcoming her into their home for a week or two. SHe felt alone, being the only female turtle, feeling as if she longed for a better life but it couldn't be found.

Earlier she had felt some slight shaking in the groud below her, but Ana believed it was only the floor settling. Normal things as usual.

[Kora]

Mike, feeling particularly chipper, roamed about the lair, walkman in hand as he pranced around Donnie's workbench. As many times as he had been warned, told, ordered and beatten to stay at least 5 yards away from the general area... well... lets just say it never worked out for Donnie's benefit :D

Without paying much care or attention, Mike glided closer towards one of Donnie's new projects... only half finished... to Mike, it seemed like a simple heap of scrap metal with wires sticking out of it.... just like the last 4 that he accidently tripped over, knocked over, dropped or toppled... but this time, it'd be diffrent... he only wanted to look at it! Then again, he only wanted to "look" at all the other inventions-to-be. Ooh well!

As he was feeling the vibe of his nifty upbeat tunes... he reached his arm forth for a "better look"... when... all of a sudden...

Casey looks at the project with Mikey. He leaves Mikey alone and watches TV with Raphael. April O'Neil reports on which seems to be an aftermath of a Foot Clan attack. The robbery of Frank's Military Shop leaves everybody puzzled. "The Foot Clan took many weapons from the store. They attacked several customers and employees in the store. It is very mysterious why they would want to rob an army supply store. Maybe its because they needed more weapons. We may never know,"reported April. Raph and I head out and exercise on a rooftop and we see some Foot Ninjas... (I'm not goin' too fast in the RP am I? Sorry if I am. I tend to do that in RPs.)

((One thing's first, cowabunga: Raph isn't in the lair, he's out running on the rooftops...))

Ana silently walked through the tunnel, her eyes closed in thought. The light from above sillohetted her, making her white skin and light brown spots abound as they glowed softly. She often thought why Rapheal cared so much about her, compared to the other turtles.

Suddenly she felt a slight shaking beneath her feet, but it only lasted a few seconds. Shrugging it off Ana made her way quickly to the lair

[Kora]

The ground only trembled slightly... but that was enough to allow the unstable workbench to vibrate... and, right as Mikey was inches away from actually touching it, the vibration on the workbench's surface caused the wor-in-progress in which he was oogling at to gitter and thump to a loud metalic "CHLINK" sound...

Where Mikey was once oblivious to his suroundings, his eyes suddenly grew wide! :teek: He never even got to touch the thing! It moved totally on its own ((or so it seemed))... His eyes then darted towards Donnie's direction, who was staring right back at him, moulth opened in sheer anoyance. From what Don could see... Mikey was at it again!!!! :roll:

[-Savannah-]

Ana heard the crash from out in the sewers, but felt as if it wasn't a good time to see what was going on. She quickly passed the doorway and into the only tunnel.

[Ra]

((GAI! i havn't posted in ages! i've been at a friends house for three days, so please forgive me!))

Raphael looked behind him with a scowl. "Hurry up!" he belowed before a small shock wave rumbled underneath his feet

As more rumbles beneath her quaked, Ana started to wonder what was going on below. "Good lord..." she mumbled, as she gripped to the wall when a stronger one hit. SOme pebbles started falling from above, but it suddenly stopped, just as it came.

()Ra you were tlakin' to Casey,right?If you were then he'll listen to Raph.)) Casey follows Raph and they walk down rooftop. They notice some Foot Ninjas in an alley and Casey beats 'em up with his hockey stick. He follows Raphael and they stick to the shadows. Many Foot Ninjas smuggle the military supplies into their van. Frank goes outside and tries to stop the Foot Ninjas but he gets knocked out. Casey runs up to five Foot Ninjas and fights 'em with his baseball bats. After thet get knocked out Casey hides Frank so no one notices him. The Foot Ninjas drive. "This is really sucky. We shoulda had a better chance at fightin' those Foot Ninjas,"said Casey. Frank wakes up and talks to Casey and Raphael. He decides to stay with them.

BTW, if you wanna be creative, try writing down Casey's thoughts and such instead. You get to write all that you want, without speeding up the RP))

Angel followed closely behind Raph, not noticing the shaking, since sha was flying.

"See? I told ya! I didn't do it! It was the table!!!" Mikey insisted, flailing his arms in defence... Donnie now seemed as puzzled as Mikey was.

But she shaking did stop... it only lasted a brief moment... but, as our Mutant Heros know, never take anything litely!

((I'll try to keep up with you guys.)) Frank walks inside his store with Casey. Most of the weapons were stolen and some employees lay knocked out on the ground. Casey sees Raphael hiding outside to see if anyone comes by. More Foot Ninjas show up in their van ready to fight. Frank gets an airsoft pistol and loads it. Casey rushes out the door and fights the Foot Ninjas. The Foot Ninjas open the back double doors and Baxter Stockman appears.

[Kora]

"M-Maybe i-i-its an other one of Stockman's giant M-Mousers! Do you think, Donnie?...Donnie...?" Mikey stuttered. But Donnie wasn't paying attention. He was allready sitting by one of his many computer desks, typing away at the keyboard.

Mikey chewed anxiously at his fingernails... This was just like in that comic he read, a while back, where these mole-people got sick and tired of living undergroud, and clawed their way into the city! ... but wait a sec... mole people don't exsist.... then again, Mutant Turtles "shouldn't" exsist, either. Ooh no!!!!!!

Donnie had, by now, rolled his chair over to yet an other one of his many stations, and observed a series of monitors... all seeming to be radars of some sort... but the radars were clean and clear... no actual disturbance was present... nobody was trying to break into the lair. Nobody was excercising an attack...

"Its okay Mikey! Looks like it was a false allarm... dunno what caused it.. but its over now"

or so it seemed. Donnie failed to study the earth's wave patterns... he only did a security.

((Sorry... just wanted to get this moving a little... if you'se planning on the earthquake being caused by an enemy, you can still very easily create something to go against the security check... just use the imagination! w00t!!!

Guess I'll be taking over Donnie for the time being, also. Anyone's free to take over Mikey and Donnie, anytime they want))

((sorry guys. i was talking to Angel *slaps forhead to knock some sence into herself*))

Ra sat on the park bench and sighed. things were to quiet for her likeing. she looked about as she heard a moan of pain. some street punks were beating up an old man. growling, she took out her kyoketsu shoge. just as she was about to brack it up, a rumble shoot through the ground. the punks yelled and left the old guy to get up and run. Ra looked about as her world shacked with a maniac grin. "Now THIS is more like it!"

Raphael looked back at Angel. “Wait! Angel! There’s something wrong here!” as he spoke, a sound like thunder came. Raph wasn’t ready and was knocked off his feet and flat onto his shell. “Damn it!”

[-Savannah-]

Ana fell when another rumble came. She fell against the concrete wall as the stronger shaking continued for a minute of two. "Something's wrong..." she thought, regaining her balance.

-I will be gone about 5 days because I'm going to Washington DC with my parents. Please tell the others who don't, thanks :).

Angel blinked, as Raph fell. She had only noticed the noise, since she was flying in the air. She landed, assuring that the ground wasn't moving anymore and stood behind Raph.

"Need a hand?"

Casey finds a chain saw on the ground and decides to use it to fight Baxter. Frank finds a double-barrel shotgun in a dumpster;along with a box of shotgun shells. Casey slices off Baxter's Utrom exoskeleton arm. The left arm moves on the ground and Casey tramples it. Turtlebots appear out of the van. Raphael,Casey,and Frank are ready to fight them. Angel decides to hide for safety. Frank shoots his shotgun at three of the Turtlebots. "I don't think you'll be able to stop me now,"says Stockman. Raphael helps Casey finish off the Turtlebots. Baxter Stockman punches Frank in the chest. He falls to the ground and grunts. Casey puts the chainsaw over his head and revs it up. "This is for Frank,"he says. Casey slices Baxter's chest in a diagonal manner. "Nooooooooooooo! I cannot be stopped. I will avenge,"says Stockman as he falls to the ground.
Angel comes out from her hidin' place and notices the carnage. Frank decides to drive the Foot Ninja van back to the Turtles' lair. Casey,Raphael,Angel get in the van to get home.

((Please cowabunga, DON'T RP others characters!!! First of all, you're going solo, simply doing what YOU want the RP to look like. Angel and Raph are still on the rooftop, so I suggest you read the previous posts. Secondly, stay to your own char, for two reasons: It's annoying, that our chars are drawn into something, we can't control ourselves, and secondly, you don't know how OC characters react. Angel would never run for cover!!!!!))

Raph scowled. "I'm fine..." as he just picked himself up, he was thrown back on his shell again by another shock wave "well....maybe..."

[Garou]

Angel suddenly felt, the new shockwave hitting her off her feet. She yelped, landing on her tail.

"What is this, an earthquake?"

[-Savannah-]

Ana fell to her knees when another wave hit. "What's going on?" she asked herself, trying to stay on her hands and knees as another one hit.

((Sorry about RPing for other characters. Anyways...)) Casey,Frank and the rest of the gang feel an earthqauke in the lair. Casey sits down and decides to watch Channel 6 News for further information on the earthquakes. "Earthquarkes are coming from mytersious places. The source is unknown. Cheif Sterns and his policemen are wondering if Oroku Saki has anything to do with these repeating earthquakes. The Foot Clan could be using dynamite to trigger these earthquakes. We may never know. April O'Neil signing off for Channel 6 News. Have a safe night." Another earthquake comes and knocks Frank on the ground. It causes him to fire his shotgun at a TV. The bullet makes a hole in the TV but it doesn't mess up anything. "Stupid earthquakes. I wish they'd stop," says Casey.
