According to Tales Of TMNT #8 Quarry wasnt released because she was way smaller and lighter then the other figures. Playmates assumed she would sell poorly because she wasnt as big as Stone Biter and Razor Fist. They said she MIGHT be released as a Toysr''us exclusive but TRU might become a Barbie only store in the future
So there you have it. Go pick up the issue if you want anymore details but that's the meat of it
Got any scans?
That doesn't make sense to me, some of the TMNT figures are fairly light, how much lighter would she have been than Utrom for example?
They should have her as part of that "Get Green" program if they're worried about her selling well.
And TRU as a Barbie only store?!? :o That sucks.

But u don't know she's a girl untill.....ahh never mind...:P
This only confirms my suspicion that she will never be released...again, its so late (in regards to the toon) what would be the point? I mean, if these toys are aimed at kids, i HIGHLY doubt that any kids would even remember her, mush less want to buy her. If they do release, it would be for the collectors, not the kids...

She's lighter then the other Notes FromtThe Underground Monsters. Which Playmates thought would make people feel like they were getting ripped off since the other ones were larger and heavier. Im guessing her release at TRU would just be for fans as long as this Barbie onl thing doesnt happen. Ill buy 2 I like Quarry

just to clear things up TRU would not become a Barbie only store, it would become a BABY only store.... meaning they would focus on Babies R Us since that's the only store doing well enough to continue staying in business at the moment.
I read this as well and I think it's a crock of ****. Look at Yoda in the Star Wars toy line, for some reason they pass that little piece of crap off as a normal figure and charge from $5-7 for it the same as they charge for someone like Chewbacca, and Yoda still sells out! I dunno, we'll see how it goes. I'm not Quarry's #1 fan or anything, but I wouldn't mind owning one just to complete the monster trio.

Now i'm not a huge Star Wars fan or anything but I don't think its quite fair to compare Yoda to Quarry...I mean, everybody and their grandmas knows about Yoda..unless you've seen those few eps, most would have no idea who Quarry is...so I can see why Yoda would sell out even in that price range even though the toy itself is a small piece of nothing virutally..i mean, its FREAKIN Yoda! :P ... I do agree with that bein a crock though about the reason to not sell Quarry becuase of it being such a slight figure...I presonally think it was a manufactoring error and somehow the figure just got missed...

Phoned up a friend who talked to someone in the toy business... I am not sure how correct this is but I was told that they are expecting to release Quarry in the 2006 line.
My friend works for Spin Masters which imports and distributes the TMNT line throughout Canada. I guess in the end we can hope that they release her, even if it takes a few more months

2006 for Canada means earlier here so that's good news. Maybe we can get more updates from the comics
Thanks for the news

Sorry Spitfire666xXxXx, guess I didn't make it clear what I meant. My friend at Spin Toys led me to believe that Playmates is releasing it in the 2006 line which means... a long wait for us Canadians if it is indeed true... Will just have to get an American counterpart to buy me one! =P
