I just got this game and enjoyed it alot. The pair that I make, that is my favorite, is Bowser and Kid Bowser.

Hell yeah, that game owns. It's easily one of the most fun racers ever.
I don't normally play racing games, but it's the added fun and sadistic ways to mess up your fellow racers that draws me to this game. I've been playing Mario Kart since the SNES version, and man, it never gets old. Definitely a classic.

DD was fun... but to me, it just lacked the Mario Kart spark. It felt too slow and clunky =\.

Agreed. The main reason I never bought it. It didn't feel as Mario Kart-ish to me.

Probobly the new engine and glossy graphic style.
The DS Mario Kart looks to be running on a modified Mario Kart 64 engine, and I think it'll mark the return of the legendary Block Fort Battle Mode stage Online. *dances happily*

Yeah, I noticed it looked to run a lot closer to MK64 then MKDD did... or maybe we'll get a totally new engine? Who knows...
But I'm so gonna pw0n you all :).

Regardless who wins or looses, it's gonna be sweet.
I gonna pewn you all btw. :D
*sets Mario Kart phone on desk*
The block fort thing came from Jeff at GCA who played it at GDC, but I've also seen screens showing the good ole water battle track from the original Mario Kart. That means two things. One, the feather's gotta be back, and two, it could be a best of thing and have all the old battle maps for online play *prays*. It's already got at least 25 new race tracks, and I've seen new battle maps, but Mario Kart Super Curcit had all of the original tracks so you never know what they could include. 128MB is a lot of possible track data:D:D
Btw, Jeff on GCA told me that the block fort had been scaled up to a larger size for 8 players. HOT DAMN!

For some reason, I didn't like this game anywhere near as much as I LOVED the first two. Mario Kart 64 still remains my top 3 favorites, this game didn't even make top 20.
My favorite pair, Birdo and Baby Bowser. Birdo nearly always gets homeing gets, which Red Shells seem more rare. And Baby Bowser's Bowser Shell, perfect for back attacks. Birdo when I'm behind, useing Eggs to get ahead, and Baby Bower when I'm in front, throwing Bowser Shells back, makeing sure I STAY in front.
The older games, I always used Toad, Yoshi, and Koopa Troopa.

I played this once at a birthday party. There were like 12 people there so we had a turney. I ended up winning somehow o_O. I had never played before. I think my friends all sucked because they have had it for awhile by that point. Anyways it was fun I was going to buy it but I dont play video games enough to buy it

I play games just so seldom...I mean I had DMC 3 for a month before I got my butt in gear and played it all the way through. Took me two weeks to get around to playing RE 4...I just spend most my time sitting on my computer wasteing time. I blame AIM everytime I go to work someone IMs me and then Im stuck talking to them and who ever IMs me in the process
