That would be Return of the Technodrome, since I like both season finales and Krang's mobile base.

Return of the Technodrome. The most memorable for me. It also leaves you thinking if Krang and Shredder have survived after sinking into the lava. I also like Case of the Killer Pizzas & the one where Apri becomes a cat.

A hard vote, there were alot of good episodes.. Though I picked Case of the Killer Pizzas because of all the great one liners. My least favorite is probably Teenagers from Dimension X.

So hard to do. I didn't really like any of them. My favorites start in either Season 3 or Season 4. *doesn't vote*

i love them all season two was just awsome and had wonderful continuty and fighting. i'm going to have to go with Attack of the Killer Pizza's. When I was a kid this episode kind of scared me because it was creepy. And now as I watch this as an adult I can really appriciate the slight sence of horror they put into this episode.
Particularly the scene wear they try to trap the little minster in the carpet and they find that it burned a hole through the wall, and Loenardo is on all fours looking for it and says that it vanished, and the little monster in right above him on a ceiling peeking behind a celing laughing all sinister like. It kind of mildly reminded me of "Grimmblins" the movie great eppisode.
i also liked the eppisode where April gets turned into a cat mutant. I don't know I thought that the intencity of her confrontation with Splinter and her trying to kill him ( and yes she actually says the word "kill") was great Splinter fear of her was pretty genuian and convincing; i felt sorry for him. One scene in particualr was when Splinter was trying to run away and she grabs him by the tale and drags him toward her. And also when Leonardo comes in with his sword to save Splinter and you think for a second that he was going to actually cut her down.
And of course "return of the Technodrome" was just spectacular One of my favorite episodes. I'm not even going to go into how much i love this eppisode or this will turn into an essay. I really enjoyed the back ground music in it. :D

"Case of the Killer Pizzas", is a good action episode, but compared to every part of "Eye of Zarnoth", "Enter: The Fly", "Splinter No More", and ESPECIALLY "Return of the Technodrome", it's inferior.

I've watched up to "Splinter No More" now, and it's been about 10 years since I've seen these, but some of these episodes have huge time inconsistencies. "Case of the Killer Pizzas" has one of the longest pizza deliveries in history. No wonder the kids thought those pizzas were cold. I'd heat them without checking them too. And Shredder goes to Florida and back in record time in "Invasion of the Punk Frogs". They're still good, fun episodes. I just like the "yeah, right" moments.

Hello. Since I'm working on these "favorite episode" polls on the 4Kids board, I'd like to give the chance to share on what was the best on the original series. I'll start with this Season 2 necrobump for the members who have joined since 2005 and for those who just didn't vote. It will be weekly as well. For Season 3, I'll do it by volume (Volume 5 was done several years ago as well and look for a bump there as well). Season 4 will be done by the following: Syndicated, CBS Shredder, and CBS Non-Shredder. Season 6 won't have a poll since that one was recent.
I voted for Return of the Technodrome. It's just a great finish to a very good season that had a good mix of action and comedy and really defines an era. The "Star Wars-esque" Shredder & Splinter reappears in the Big Blowout as well.

I was about to double post, but instead I'll rank these episodes from best to worst. BTW, today I won on eBay both Seasons 2 & 6 DVDs for just $1.98 plus shipping (hopefully around $7 total with combned shipping).
Overall, I'd rank them:
Return of the Technodrome 10
Enter: The Fly 9.5
Curse of the Evil Eye 9
The Incredible Shrinking Turtles 8.5
Return of the Shredder 8
Invasion of the Punk Frogs 8
The Mean Machines 7.5
Splinter No More 7.5
It Came From Beneath The Sewers 7
Case of the Killer Pizzas 7
The Catwoman From Channel 6 6.5
New York's Shiniest 6
Teenagers From Dimension X 5
PS: Here is where you can vote for Season 1 of the OT if you wish. It was made 7.5 years ago, so there's lots who haven't taken part in that! It's been talked about countless times, so I'm not going to post on that link. http://forums.thetechnodrome.com/showthread.php?t=9052

This is one of the view times I can say there is no stinker of an episode. I am not crazy over the second Neutrios episode mainly because of a lack of interesting plot and April acted like she never met The Neutrinos. They were also intimated by a gang which seems odd. It was fun to see an arc with the Eye of Sarnath four episode set. After this only Planet of The Turtoids and The Power of Three can be considered an arc. While we see the Neutrinos we meet The Punk Frogs and Rex-1 for the first time. The Punk Frogs and Slash were always my favorite Other Media characters yet I can't explain why. Its always ablast to see the Technodrome actually moving on the surface and it is interesting to find a character piece with Splinter No More. Its why I like him as Hmaato Yoshi. April was more interesting as a mutant cat than fish as well. *Whew* That was a mouthful and then some.:tgrin:

I'm gonna say The Incredible Shrinking Turtles, as it was one of the first episodes I saw.
AND it's one of the only episodes of the OT where Shredder gets the best of the Turtles one-on-four without the aid of Rocksteady, Bebop, Foot Soliders, or Baxter.

Invasion of the Punk Frogs. My favorite episodes were the ones where we saw more mutants, and as a kid I always wanted to see more of the frogs.
The catwoman episode actually creeped me out as a little kid. If that episode was on, I changed the channel. I don't think I liked April suddenly acting villainous, it weirded me out.

I agree about the more mutants. I understand people want a set limit of mutants running around but you have to admit they are a number of better characters in TMNT lore. I hope the Punk Frogs and Slash can return in some form soon.
It was the mind control collar not April herself. Did you perfer her cat mutant form or her fish mutant form? While I am not a fan of either and gald it was one episode thing I would perfer the cat even if you include the Wasp Baxter turned her into.

Actually, mikeandraph87: there was that "The Big" arc at the end of Season 3 with the Technodrome being repowered, and some can consider Seasons 8-10 having Season long plots ala Spiderman.

True. Your quite the insightful one!:)
In season 8 it could argued that there were two season long plots. One with Shredder and Krang and the other with Titanus. I guess I am thinking like directly part 1 of 2 and part 2 of 2 or something like that, but then again it doesn't need that in the title as you point out. Justice League is an example of that afer it evolved into JLU.

I wanted to see those episodes so bad back in the day. They were U.K. released and not U.S. so I ordered them off Ebay around 2001 from Birkenshire area of England I think and going through International transit it got magnetized and I got nothing. :tgrumble: It took another four years to see these on DVDs. So if I can wait four years to see those episodes I can wait an extra few months to see the likes of Shredder and bonus characters in IDW. Moral of the story is be patient and don't order from anywhere outside of Canada or the U.S. because if its a video/DVD it will not be viewable.

They were all good. I picked Return of the Shredder because it was the very first episode I watched and it drew me into the world of TMNT.
