I was checking Rob Paulsen's (OS Raphael) IMDB site to see what new stuff he's gonna be in and noticed that the 2 movies he's gonna be in next year are both animated musicals! Now he's been in a musical before and even sang (dude of course he sang! he was the villian! *L*). That movie was "Charlotte's Web 2" (he voiced an evil red fox named Farley).

Now mind you that one could easily consider all the Land Before Time movies as musicals....altho Rob doesn't sing in em as he's the VA of Spike.

Anyways, altho he's in a couple movies this year, those being "Jimmy Neutron: Attack of the Twonkies" (Rob's the VA of Carl), and "Tom and Jerry Blast off to Mars"(he voices a computer). Next year...next year is the major stuff.... with all the movies about rats (there's at least 3!) there's also a couple musicals:

The Barnyard: Which stars both Rob Paulsen AND Cam Clarke(OS Leonardo)!!! Rob voices a Gopher and a Rooster (Peck the Rooster *L*) while Cam voices a Ferret named Freddy.

The plot for that is:
When the farmer's away, all the animals play ... and sing, and dance. Eventually, though, someone has to step in and run things, a responsibility that ends up going to Otis (Kevin James), a carefree cow.

The movie also stars Maurice LaMarche (the current VA of Yosemeti Sam but more known as the voice of Brain the mouse, with Rob Paulsen as Pinky of course ;) ), Courteny Cox-Arquette, Andie McDowell, Wanda Sykes (She voices a cow *lol*), Jeffrey Garcia, Danny Glover, and a couple others.

That premiers January 13th, 2006
Here's the official site of it... I think that's Cam's character next to the pig...*L*

And 2 days later (seriously!) another movie premiers...this time Rob Paulsen voices the title character!!

This one is called "Bongee Bear and the Kingdom of Rhythm"
Rob voices Bongee Bear....

Here's the plot:
In the tradition of the classic fairytale, "Bongee Bear and the Kingdom of Rhythm" tells a story of good vs. evil. In a Kingdom ruled by a good King and Queen, a young orphan bear named Bongee becomes the lifelong friend of Princess Katrina. When the witch Bandrilla casts a spell on the people of the Kingdom preventing them from doing what they love most, dancing, Bongee Bear and his friend Myrin set out to break the spell. They seek the help of the wise owl, Mindy, and the other animals of the Magic Forest in this tender, fun-filled musical romp;"Bongee Bear and the Kingdom of Rhythm."

The movie also stars Jeff Bennett (the current VA of Daffy, VA of Petrie on Land Before Time, but probably more known from Gargoyles where he voiced Brooklyn and Owen Burnett), Ruth Buzzi, Bill Farmer (the current VA of Goofy), and June Lockhart (Lassie's mommy!!).

Here's the official site...a 2D movie from the looks of it.

Meanwhile we can all hear Rob's voice currently in the following things:
Danny Phantom (he's the dad)
Doom 3 (seriously!)
Jimmy Neutron (he's Carl)
the new double mint-apple gum add (he voices the boy gum, there's also a girl gum...*L*)
Lilo and Stitch (he voices Experiement 625)

And you can see him in "Comic Book: The Movie" :P

And soon in a series that'll be on Nickelodeon called Catscratch.

It's about 3 cat brothers who's super rich owner dies and leaves everything to them. Rob voices the cat named Gordon. His brothers are Mr. Blick (Wayne Knight *L*), and Hovie (Maurice LaMarche).

Rob Paulson has an excellent singing voice, that's for sure. I always loved listening to his songs on Animainiacs; so good I didn't even notice they were educational.

That's great that Rob is involved in a lot of upcomin' projects. Maybe I'll see some of the movies that he was in. I really wanna get Comic Book:The Movie. I didn't know he was in that movie. Bruce Campbell's in that movie. I think he also did a VA for some guy in Metal Gear Solid for Gamecube. I also saw him on a game show on Nicktoons TV. http://www.mikeystmnt.com/images/screens/cast/paulsen_r.gif

Rob's always been one of my fav VA's. I remember I first discovered him from watching Gummi Bears, and was always mad that like half the episodes didn't feature Gusto Gummi. It was on at 3:00, and I wouldn't get home from elementary school 'til around 3:30. If I ever got home any earlier, I would race home just to make sure I wasn't missing a Gusto ep. :P
Later, when I started watching TMNT, I noticed that the same guy who voiced my beloved Gusto was also voicing Raphael! After a few months of squinting at the credits for both shows, I deduced that the fantastic voice belonged to the one and only...Jim Cummings! Then a few months after that, I learned I was wrong and figured out it was Rob.
And then there was Animaniacs. What a great show - great cast, great music.
Always glad to hear Rob's voice on a new 'toon or movie. I really wish they would rerecord the eps of TMNT he missed when they are released on DVD. Not neccessarily the season 10 eps, since he had left the show, but the episodes he missed, and the Europeon Vacation eps.
Okay, that's enough gushing for one night. ;)

I love to pick him out of random cartoons. I've heard him in the most random things. He's in the new wendy's commercial.
He was the voice of the singing troubadour in Disney's Three Musketeers.

wow I love Rob Paulsen he always does such good comical characters. I can always reconise his voice. Except that I didn't reconise him as being the Dad on Danny Phantom :o. He was also the voice of the Mask, on the short lived animated series the Mask. And also the voiced the main character of one of my all time favorite cartoon series Mighty Max :D Man I loved that series to bad they can't show reruns, it was actually rather dark.

He also played along side Tony Jay ( the voice of Dregg from the red sky arc) as the voice of Virgil the fowel; who Max dubbed as the chicken . Oh him as Max always got a few cracks of laughter out of me. As Rob Paulsen always does with any charcter he plays. But I don't think I've seen him sing before.

Its good that Rob's involed in a lot of Nickelodeon stuff. He gets the regonition he deserves from that network. I guess they really like how he does VA's. For Animaniacs he did a great job for the VA he voiced. Is he gonna do any VA's for any shows that are like gonna be on Nickelodeon?

i see that Rob Paulsen and Cam Clarke are still active and doing projects. what about Barry Gordon ( Donatello) and Townsend Coleman ( Michaelangelo) doing right now. I really don't hear much of them recently, are they still acting at all.

I know that Barry Gordon has gotten into politics. But What about Townsend Coleman, has he done anything recently. If he has than I really don't know about it. i can't pick out his voice for anything :dead: I've seen his name in another carttoon and he I didn't know it was him, he sounded nothing like Michaelangelo.

Accordig to IMDB the latest thing Townsend Coleman's done is an episode of Batman Beyond in 2000. :ohwell:

Barr Gordon has been doing the odd tv guest spot here and there, and I believe he's still the voice of the Nestle Quick Bunny.
