Cartoon Voices?????

I was wondering if anyone here thought that the voice for Rapheal in the cartoon series voice sounded like maybe he was a wuss, i mean comparing to the movie he makes ralph sound a bit to funny. The movie otherwise is the fit voice for ralph, he sounds mean,angary and he never takes any bull Shizzz from anyone.

that is because both Raph's and Mike's characters in the cartoon series were horribly bastardized. they changed Raph from depressive, angry loner to smartass. They changed Mike from relaxed, goodnatured creative artist to clumsy party dude.

the voice chosen to convey raph in the series was in line with this character malignment.

Yeah the Voice in the Movie was perfect for Raph. I hope his voice in the new series will be something like it.

Despite the obvious character flaws, I thought Rob and Townsend did great as Raphael and Michaelangelo. When you think about it though, Mike was still relaxed and good natured in the toon, wheras Raph's personality was changed the most.

All the TMNT in the cartoon were totally diffrent characters. There were few similarities of course. Like Leo being the leader and Don good with machines.

They kinda hammed it up with Leo though. He always said those cornball remarks about putting someone behind bars.

As I said they had very little incommon with the original TMNT. The New show luckily seems to have pretty much right profiles. Exept for mike.

I thought the voices on both the cartoons and the movies were great! But I guess I'm just biased since I've been watching those forever. I like Raph's voice on the cartoon and Michaelangelo's might be kind of annoying to some, but I like it anyway. They were voiced very well on the movie in my opinion, Raph's character came out very well at least for the first. He was alot more angrier, but Mike's personality seemed to match his cartoon one to me.

i always found that Leo's voice is too whiny...in both cartoon and movie. it gets a bit high pitched sometimes. i dunno, maybe since they're supposed to be 15 years old he might not of hit puberty or something...but considering hes supposed to be the leader he never really sounded like it.

Leo's voice in the first few episodes was nice. From what I remember, it's mostly noticible on the episodes, Turtle Tracks, Enter The Shredder and Case Of The Killer Pizzas. His voice was deeper in the beginning, soon after they butchered it with that whiny voice. Why oh why did they do that? :flaming:

The other guys voices didn't really fit them either, oh well at least the voices weren't as sucky as those on Next Mutation. :lol:

Yeahm The Next Generation realy killed it, The theme song was alright but other wise, whoaaaaaaaa buddy. I think them bringing in venus was retarted.

and did anyone know that Krane will NOT appear in the New Turtle cartoons, But tricertron will.
