rockstar games has taken the domain of both gta london and gta tokyo.
there is already a gta london on ps1, so if they are gonna make a new gta it would be awsome if they moved it to tokyo.

and i still hope that tommy vercetti will return.

GTA has already been in Londan in a GTA style game called The Getaway. Which was 5000 times better. Because it has a story and just wasn't stupid senseless violence. All Rockstar does is add lots of sex refrences, cop killing, and swearing to raise controversy which advertises the game for them. Like this sex/coffee house MOD for PC and Xbox, they damn well know they put the sex in the game themselves, it doesn't surprises me. So if a hacker dug it out that's their problem

They should make GTA: Lancaster, where you can hijack the horse carriages and wreak havoc on the Amish.

I'm sure London could work again. There's a lot more to go on in the newer games. But I'm sure they'd need somewhere huger than a state now...

They could do Tokyo, Kyoto, Okinawa, Shinjiku, Fukui, Sendai, Kyushu, or anywhere in Japan. They're still not getting my money. They can't tempt me with stuff they're going to screw up, anyway. Or maybe they won't screw it up.

I don't see anywhere in Japan working. A white or black guy running around swearing at everyone in english wouldn't blow over very well. I doubt they would make the main character Japanese and I doubt they would take the time to record all the dialog in Japanese. Casual gamers don't want to read subtitles. So everyone in Japan would speak English!

They don't care about the realism of language. They'll just make it where you can go to a few love hotels, then blow the suckers up while survivors fly out of windows on fire screaming in Engrish and consumers will be happy.

GTA games don't typically take place in real cities, right? I wouldn't mind if they did either game in a London-esque or Tokyo-esque setting. The games don't sell well in Japan, so maybe this could be their way of "sticking it to em".

They could try out GTA Moscow. Russian mafia, degenerated ex-KGB officers, drunk street orphans, tons of golden chains and frozen vodka and sulky Kremlin in the background. And that funny accent everybody loves.

Frankly I think GTA New York would make more sense since the whole town is pretyt much like that already, but I suppose that would be the sure fire way to get the Senateors to raise all kinds of hell.

GTA3 and Liberty City Stories are already set in a New York style city.

Yeah me too, Tommy was awesome, and I think the tokyo idea is a good one. I have always liked that city and it would be cool to be able to take control of the crime world there, the Yakuza are AWESOME!
