Hello there,
I just stumbled across that awesome thing. Well, you must know i have a thing for keyboards and I'm using the thing below at the moment. It glows in the dark and stuff (well I gave it a paintjob, it's now all black)...

Anyways, if I had money and nothing better to buy, then I'd buy this thing.

Now that doesn't look too special, does it?
Then I suggest you read the article (http://www.artlebedev.com/portfolio/optimus/). Really amazing...

:o *drools* I want that Optimus keyboard!!!
I'd buy that Optimus keyboard in a heartbeat, but the glowing keyboard is going too far. I'm nerdy, but no one comes to my house for someone to care.

Too far? hey, it is very good for those night sessions, when you're too lazy to turn on the lights and you don't want to ruin your eyes. Plus: it looks rather nice.
And be sure to read the FAQ for the keyboard. It's underneith the link to the MUS-Mouse (which is a rather crappy idea, if you ask me).

Funny they even included eMule button...
But yeah - special covers for keybords designed for Photoshop or Quake would come extremaly handy for me. Smart people of these designers from Art Lebedev. :)

Did you read the article? These are not covers or something you put on the keys. These are the keys. Every single key is a tiny little screen that displays whatever that button does at that moment. You can also customise the buttons so that, let's say the eMule-button, starts up Photoshop or something. of your choice.

Every key of the Optimus keyboard is a stand-alone display showing exactly what it is controlling at this very moment. - damn, you're right, I've missed that sentence before :ohwell: Anyway, that makes the whole thing even more spectacular, wish to put my fingers on it one day, literally.
*looks at his Logitech and sighs*

And now something for the real geeks. Looks quite cool, actually.

For more details on das Keyboard, I recommend reading Der Artikel (http://www.daskeyboard.com/). :D
Most impressive is, I think, this part:
Since there is no key to look at when typing, your brain will quickly adapt and memorize the key positions and you will find yourself typing a lot faster with more accuracy in no time.
