Anyone see if LGE had a booth at comic con this weekend? If so, I'm hoping someone asked them about season 3 of the classic series on DVD :)

I'm wondering if volume 2 will come out on dvd. And also when will it come out. I loved buying volume 1 and 2. I should try to buy them all, if they do. I would like it if they would get those Burger King episodes onto dvd.

The majority (if not all) the BK episodes were from season 3. That means if we got a complete volume 3 (following the past releases this means all 60 whatever episodes of season 3) they'd be on there. Since season 3 was the biggest season I bet they'll take their time on this release. They might break it up (which I hope they don't). I'm hoping for a rerelease of season 1 without the season 10 episodes. I know it sounds dumb, but I would honestly pay the same price for a volume 1 with just season 1 episodes on it (maybe instead of season 10 eps they could put real bonus features on there).

Same here. I would love for a new season 1. I think they ened commentary for all 5 eps so you can listen to the creaters talk about what they were planning on doing and how it all came together. I don't care for commentary on anyother episodes except the first 5.

From what i hear, I hear that Season 1 is considered the best of them all because it was dark.. It became more kid-friendly by the 4th season so the show had some not-so-hot episodes..

I love watching the 1st and 2nd season of tmnt on dvd.. It has so many classics episode.. If they release seaosn 3, that would be even better.

The first season is not really "dark" per say, but it's not as light hearted as the other seasons. Actually it goes to a downward spiral for the goofiness by each season. 1 obviously being the lest, 2 not as bad but starting to become more goofy, 3 pretty damn goofy, and 4 is unwatchable if you can't stand the goofiness.

Third season was probably the most tolerable of the goof-ridden seasons up until Season Seven, where the writers gave a damn again (truth be known, Wise could write a damn good episode when he wanted to even during the goofy seasons, but with Seven, he started doing it consistently again)
