Uhhh... crap. It's er, my 1-year anniversary with Shadow on the 6th. It takes 3 days for an average letter to get there, so I have to come up with a gift idea in less than three days. I have NO idea whatsoever about what to get!! I need help so badly!! I want to get him a good present but I don't know what >_<

Pleeaassseee someone help? X_x

Hmmm you could look for maybe games he doesn't have? Or DVDs?

When in doubt, 25 dollar gift certificate for Amazon.com. There's damn near guarenteed to be something there he's been wanting.

Well, you could just do something special with your letter and send him a card or something.

When KROW and I were doing the long distance thing, that's what he and I would do. Of coarse since he's an artist his doodles were much better than mine. :P

I'd decorate up the paper with colorful pens and what-not...since I didn't really have any source of income I was quite limited. I actually picked some wildflowers out of my yard once, pressed them and sent them to him. heh.

Write a poem or something if your not quite sure. Small sentiments can mean more than gifts sometimes. :)

He appears to be missing alot of TMNT DVDS. 2 Leo ones, 2 Mikey ones, all the Don ones, and the newest ones that have no pictures on the spine. Would he like those? And like DH said Gift Cards are always good

Go with Damnhooligan's idea. You can't go wrong.

Oh, and a card like what Storm Wolf suggested is a good idea too.

That does sound like a good idea. There's almost nothing better than going into a bookstore (I still prefer real bookstores over online ones) knowing that I have X bucks to spend for literature of some sort.

... I like books. :D

Storm Wolf: Oh, we always send each other cards. We both like drawing, and his cards are awesome. I just need a present to go with the card.... and I can't write a poem for him because he doesn't like poetry.

Well, I can only tell you how I feel about book gift certificates. To me, they're not money, they're more like something I'd never have expected to get. I walk into the bookstore, usually head to the politivs-department and then I am surprised by something I'd never have expected to find. And that surprise-book is what I got for whatever occasion.

I that case, quite honestly, I feel very sorry for him.

But you don't have to get him a book certificate, you could get him an amazon-certificate and amazon sells everything (excluding people and their souls) that makes money.

..I want to get something really memoriable though.... i mean, id buy something like the DS for him if he didnt already have it x.X

If you're looking for something memorable, I don't really think something like a video game is the right option, particularly if its one of those that you beat once and never play again. Technology like that has the tendency to become obsolete once something bigger and better comes around.

Maybe a picture frame and a shot of you, or both of you together. Or a nice leather-bound journal with a nifty new pen for him to collect his thoughts or draw in.

I got my girlfriend a necklace for her birthday. Something like that is rather memoriable. Guys aren't really into necklaces so maybe a wrist band instead? Get something put on it. I had the necklace engraved with a special message. You could try something like that

Whatever you decide to get him, Hannah, DO NOT forget a cake.

Cake is always good for anniversaries. Especially chocolate. :)

Ermmm... Knit him a nice woolly sweater :P ;)

In case he doesn't like nice woolly sweaters or you are not trained enough to knit one within 3 days - make a funny or personal image with some witty remark included (like - your devilish photo with a sombre font: "She's stolen my soul and keeps it in Arizona" or else, I'm not feeling creative at the moment :ohwell: ),then find a place where you can print it on a T-shirt for a reasonable price. And then dispatch it!

T-shirts are neutral, can last years and everybody wear them.

I got my boyfriend a high beer glass from Ritzenhoff ( I don't know if you know it? ) with three different styles of beer: one from Australia, from Jerusalem and Ireland I think. He was very happy about it :D

These glasses have many different pattern styles and look really cool, so you can collect them, too.
