The Hunt for TMNT Collected Book One

Now I have been searching for this TPB for at least 3 years now, I've tried ebay in fact I once bid 73 dollars for it and lost. and the official website has it listed as Sold Out. Now can anyone tell me if Mirage has any plans of re-releasing the first collected book.
or if any of you are willing to part with it,you might want to put it on ebay and I will be willing to pay a fair price for it.

I believe Laird wants to reprint the first what he calls essential or something of that natrue in graphic novel format.... I doubt it will happen any time soon perhaps in a years time.

Try ebay I got lucky I got on soft cover first 13 issues I belive for like $20 USD I was incredibly suprised no one else bid on it its an awesome book and has all the issues that I have not been able to find. Oh it has all the micro series also with the 13 issues. Just check ebay and you might get lucky like I did other wise there are always the color ones that dont have the micro series in them I have those also....

Believe me, I check ebay nearly everyday for it.I guess I just have to keep my eyes open for this one.
p.s Does the collected book(1-12+micro-series) have the covers to the issues?

i ordered a used hc at borders took 4 weeks for them to find it but it was ten buck so try that

there are no covers, there is a little picture of the turtles and says what book it is at the begining of them I believe. No covers unfortuantly...

I got it four years ago from the official website when I wanted to replace the really old ones I had. Unfortunately I didn't take great care of them when I was a kid. I didn't realize it had become so hard to find. I know some people who probably have it. If I get the chance I will see if anyone is looking to get rid of it...

The chapters are seperated by small illustrations but the cover is so cool with real old school April and her mega perm haha

I really want to see more collected books and graphic novels. It's an easy way to catch up when I fall behind, or replace...

Now that Ive won those fortunate enough to have it, I have a question,Is it phonebook size(like the Marvel Essentials)? if so are there cheap newsprint pages?

It is very large... it encompasses 15 books which is a few less than Marvel Essentials usually does, but it is the veritable Turtle Bible.

It's on really cheap newsprint, yeah.

Yea it is a pretty sweet book...and very convient cuz you can just plop down with that one book and go back to back with some great stories without having to open up individual comics/bags... so congrats! :)

I forgot to mention but I got the first print,the black and white cover. Now there is nothing to do but wait..

Is it standard tpb comic size or is it sorta oversized?

It's standard modern-age size.

Would the spine get damaged easily?(exp. opening it wide)

Hm, I suppose if you opened it wide it would probably crease. It is a pretty old book, and it's just a thin cardboard cover. My advice would be to see what condition the spine is in when you receive the book. I wouldn't think an average one sold on ebay would be in perfect, pristine condition, and if you take good care of it, you prolly wouldn't hurt it anymore than what's all ready done (which I'm sure isn't much).
