Bronx was a god, so he had no real lines he was kick butt. Loved the ep were Bronx was highlighted in Scottland(?) better than the Goliath Chronical ep.

I give a 10 out of 10 for the best use of Shakspear

They were in Ireland. Most of the Goliath Chronicles was really bad anyway, except for the first. Then the head writer/creator left. :(

I liked Demona and Xanatos best. :evilgrin:

:nod: I record Gargoyle eps every time I can commandeer my parents' sattelite long enough. :P When it originally came out, I watched it every day, and couldn't stand to miss an episode.

Oh, I loved Gargoyles when I was younger. I actually managed to record some eps before they took it off the air.

Finally glad diseny censors lightened up enough to show that one ep where Braodway shots Elisa. Why TD refused to show it for so long is a mystery, but they cencor Darkwing too. Thank You Halloween Marathon :tparty:

I'm tempted to post the link to Christine Morgans fanfic, they are simply amazing, in their detail,plot, story telling, and overall workings but they are a wee bit......Adult, IE sex, but the over all plot makes it all worth it if you don't like that sorta thing.

Wow, I never knew DW ever got dark enough to censor. 'Cept the bit about Gosalyn's Grandad dyin. Can you give us an example?


And about that Gargoyles: Anyone know what episode it is that Xanatos can clearly be heard saying 'Damn'? 'Cause I can remember hearing it, but I'm not sure what episode it was from.

I don't remember. Remember him saying "Hell" but that was refering to the place, not swearing.

I don't remember him saying that. But 'Hell' is pretty taboo for cartoons, even refering to the place. So that kinda suprises me, too. Especially for a DISNEY cartoon, y'know?

Its the one where Darkwing, Gos and Morgana go to Morganas old school. Gos wants to go but can't be can't because she doesn't have magic and makes a deal with Lucifer(think thats the name he had in the show) and unknlowinly trades her soul for a book a magic spells. Later he comes to collect and DW makes deal with Lucifer and trades his soul for Goses and goes with Lucifer to hell and some how Morge and Gos get him back.
I have never seen that ep on TD, and they also cut parts of Torus Bulbas 3rd ep out

Yeah, cartoons gotta watch anything that might come off as "demonic" or Satanic. They had that problem in Gargoyles. Parents were upset because they thought the Gargoyles were demons and stuff. Stupid parents.

And the Gargoyles quote was "Pay a man enough, and he'll walk barefoot into Hell." From one on the first episodes. Can't remember if it was the first or second.

Well with a lady like Demona tring to wipe out all of man kind I can kinda get the demonic thing. You gotta admit for disney that was ballsey, better that teh shows they try to pas as entertainment now. Seriously these shows(G/DW) are what 10 years how could the censors change whats acceptable so much. We arn't warped what makes them think they'll warp other young minds.

well they used hell as a place so its not that bad I got most of the eps recorded i got all the Galithe Cronicals that was the show after Gargoyles there were only like 7 eps

Shame the series after Chronicals never got made, I wanted to see Dingo and Matrix in action
