Best series/issue

Hey, I was wondering what everyone thinks the best TMNT comic series and issue is, and why....

Best series: Mirage Vol. 1, because of the story's, the Turtles were gritty and weren't afraid to get there weapons dirty, and the addition of Casey didn't hurt either.

Best Issue: I find it kinda hard to pick one issue, but I guess I could go with the first one.

For best series, definitely Mirage Vol. 1.

For best issue... hm... When I was a kid, I always liked Donatello #1. But some of my other favorites would be the one where April is writing in her journal, the Golden Calf, Raphael #1, #10 or 11 (whichever one it is where they escape the burning apartment), and City at War is very good. Also, with the "non-canon" issues of Vol. 1, I like the one with the little girl traveling through time, and The River, and the other one by the guy who did The River.

Best series? Mirage vol 1 no question.

2nd best series, you're not going to believe me but Image. Man at the time I was frustrated that he was killing off turtles and stuff, but I look back and that comic was loads of fun.

Favorite issue, Mirage vol 1 #1. Perfect.

not even in the top 10, but still an honorable mention is #31 (I think that's the #) the one with the rambo looking guy on the cover and the turtles all fallen down with them lying on their logo, that issue was loads of fun (I just reread it the other day).

I find myself enjoying the new tales volume the best.

My favourite issue out of all of them is probably the first City at War issue, just ahead of the the first Return to New York.

I was also a big fan of what Dreamwave did. I liked the different viewpoints, especially in the April issue. The lines between what's really happening and her recollection of events was really well done IMO.

Mirage Vol. 1, definitely.

Raphael #1, #10 or 11 (whichever one it is where they escape the burning apartment)

#11 - The Silent Partner. The issue that follows Leonardo #1 in continuity.

Either of those two just mentioned are my favourite issues.

Favorite Series - Heh, easily Mirage Vol. 1. The stories were crazy! Like the Hall of Legends, Bloodsucker, and of course... The Shredder. That series had so many characters, so many connections, so many tales, and something Vol. 4 has been missing lately... a lot of action!

Favorite Issue - Mine has always been Tales of TMNT Vol. 1 #7. I LOVED Savanti Romero and I LOVED the concept of the turtles facing dinosaurs in the Prehistoric Era. The action in that issue was intense, and the art was great, along with the inking. Not to mention, the story behind it was great. I doubt I'll ever find an issue in the TMNT series better than that one.

I still need #44 though. When I first had #44 my stupid step Mom threw away half my comic collection without my permission and I lost it. A couple of years later I found a comic shop that had a bunch of Archie back issues. So I bought all I could afford! Sadly they only had #42 and #43 but one day I'll get #44! >_< It's my favorite issue too

My favorite series was volume one. I liked the art and the action was intense. My favorite issues from volume one are: #8, Turtle Soup #1(collected book), #30, and TMNT:The Movie Adaption.

Best storyline is easily "City At War" (you can even put "Shades of Grey" in there with it). Perfect, just perfect.

Best one shot is probably "Sons of the Silent Age" (Vol. 1 #28).

My favorite issue is tales of the TMNT vol. #4, because the ratking, imo, is the most intruiging villain.


Best series goes to Mirage Vol. 1 with great story arcs ranging from Return to New York to City at war.
