I dunno.. but what Don's holding looks like a machety to me.
These are really cool... and look, Mike's chucks look like real chuks! I wonderif that's real chaing linking. I also love the suction cups that come with Leo. It's like, you can stick him on your window, or in the car, or on the computer screen. *snigger*
Can't wait.... ! :dead:

*screams* those are so awesome. I was hoping they'd paint the weapons with a more realistic look and they did! The personalized cards are also fantastic. I've already preordered cases for the entire line from Series 1. They'll be shipping in the beginning of January! Whoo hoo! :D

Say... How come the Toys R Us website has December 15 listed as the release date, while KB Toys has the action figs slated for a January release? :???:

*sob* www.entertainmentearth.com gives January as the ship date for the figs. I guess they've been bumped back a month, or TRU just screwed up when they entered their information. :( Damn. I gotta wait another month.
Of course...my birthday is in February... :D Early birthday presents!

:o Wow! I guess i won't be able to sleep after having seen those maginificent toys. But how come they can be bought if the cartoon hasn't been shown yet. Ot is it only a demonstration? Do you think we'll be able to find them in the shops??
By the way i haven't seen Shredder-toy there. And they should make a Saki toy as well.
Turtles are very cool this time. They are the best comparing with all other toys that have been realeased many years ago. But what do you think about the new Shred? I guess he's not very cool. Just look at these red eyes... I liked Slice and Dice Shredder. He was the best i guess....
PS:Wow,they say these toys are for 4-12 years old kids.lol
 i'm not 12 of course
Anarchistguy

I'm not 12 either, but I need to buy the toys for modeling, 'cause I need
to learn how to draw the characters better.

Since when has age ever stopped a fandom based on a toy-line? Doesn't affect Transfans, doesn't affect... He-Fans? :-? ... and it probably doesn't affect Turtlefans either. *shrug* Kinda sad to see a 20-30 year old fiddling around and complaining with a child's plaything, but what you gonna do?
(I'm 14, BTW)

I still enjoy playing with my older toys on occasion, but only when I'm really bored. Of coarse with the computer around, that hardly ever happens.
HorseTechie
12-06-2002, 11:37 AM
Well.. it seems to me that they usally release the toys a month or so before the actual movie or cartoon airs.

heheh.. at least I'm safe when I buy these during Decmeber, cause then people will think I'm buying em for a younger sibling or a toy drive. :P

LOL! I like HT's idea... I'll just say I'm buying them for my little brother (who doesn't exist). Or, if I'm feeling brave, I'll follow SC's path. I see no wrong in that.

I like the "imaginary brother" idea. Kinda sneaky!

I will have new TMNT toys
Donatello
12-10-2002, 11:49 AM
if there is any misprint about prices it will be kb's because TRU has hiked their prices and 7.99 sounds about right. but kb's is usually pretty expensive so the price is probably wrong. :tcry: One other strange thing is the fact that at TRU the 12" figs are 19.99 while kb is 21.99 which both sound right for their stores.
oh and personaly, i like shredder he doesn't look like the mirage shred, but there are things to be said about the new one. ok the red eyes are stupid, but the rest i thiink looks pretty cool. the businessman idea is new and i think will be pretty interesting.
Donatello
12-10-2002, 11:51 AM
and it gives shred an almost religious presence which is cool

i like shredders new look although he looks like he wouldn't be very agile and kinda looks like a cyborg
Karpo_007
12-11-2002, 04:59 AM
He looks a little too Robotic, but I belive he will be fine.
PanMan
12-11-2002, 02:48 PM
i think he needs his cape back, and yes a little less armour would be better . . . especially around the face :)

12-11-2002, 02:56 PM
my favourite turtle is Raph (i especially like his colour of skin). they all look great though. one question, what are the "Two Ninja Weapon Caps - Plug the Ninja Weapon Caps onto the Staff to create Don's Super Ninja Bo Staff." :-? I like shredder and the foot soldier too (although the "foot print" doesn't look that great. the one in the toon was much better). splinter's also good but not that great . . . although the original wasn't anything to get excited about either

i skipped page 3... sorry if someone already answered but if you look on bottom of machete and axe, they attach onto the bo. Like a weapon attachement. I heard thats the same as Shredders and Foot Soldiers weapons. Meh...
BTW im a newbie

The weapon caps go one each end of Donatello's bo...hence capping the weapon
and yes...these figures look awesome...I'll get at least a Raph and Leo for sure...(I'm too poor for them all)

Wow... that's funny. In my town, it's the other way around. KB is always a few dollars cheaper than TRU.
I also like the robotic looking Shredder... makes more sense to me now, after seeing what they have in store for the new cartoon.
