Has anyone here bought a Scratch figure from this seller ? The reason I ask is because I wonder where he aquired them.
And I wonder excatly how many he has. He has listed them 1 at a time since I started collecting almost 4 years ago.
He says there from a promotional case. I think thats why the figure is rarer then most. They were never packaged and shipped out.
Another interesting note, Ive never seen them go for less then $30.00. Always somewhere in the $30-$50 range.

I bought the figure from him a year or two ago and asked the same thing. From what I understand the Scratch figure ended up being mostly used for promotinal reasons. Meaning they sat in display cases of comic shops or boxes instead of being packed out to the stores (possibly were meant to be used at toy fair or a convention but never made it). This also means that there is a huge box full of only Scratch's accessories somewhere (probably a landfill) and these are sold without them.
More than likely he aquired them from a warehouse buy or estate sale or something, where a comic shop owner (or even Playmates themselves) had them put aside or buried under other stuff. I think mine was like 40$ exactly when I bought it with shipping. It came in fine and fast, he sits proudly on my shelf with the rest of them, but I still need his accessories and loose cardback. I was lucky enough to get him MOMC a couple years ago on ebay for 170$, but I dare not open him for the accesories. I doubt you'll have any problems if you order from him, mine was great and I still love finally having him. Only one I never had as a kid (besides the Shoguns), so 200$ altogether for a loose one and a MOMC one, was worth it to me.
