Ok, I just hit the official site, and they got a new Bishop, Baxter, Nobody, and Rat King and Gamera Don (what the hell?)
http://www.ninjaturtles.com/toys/2006/2006prototypes.html
I have to say, these are... uh.. interesting. Whats with Bishop's red hand, and Don looking like a Jurassic Park reject? I can't wait to see if Nobody's in the upcoming season..
Any thoughts on these things?

isn't that Raph in Vol. 4? :ohwell:
Bishop looks cool, and Baxter is awesome. And who says they don't listen to fans, I see a purple dragon! :D damn...I quit getting the figures on account of them sucking so damned much, but these look cool!

I don't think the Baxter Stockman figure looks too bad...
Though shouldn't his head seeem more holographic?
I like the look of this figure more than the Baxter with all the mechanical arms.
We are seeing Quarry again here....do we think she will make it to the market or not?

Is it me, or does the mutated Don figure look almost identical to Mutated Raph in Vol. 4? Same shell shape, same head features, same everything really.
Quarry looks interesting, and I like the Purple Dragon, they're quite colourful. I don't rate the Rat King or Bishop much but Nobody looks okay.

I would buy the gamera Don fig .. but it upsets me that they cant follow a story right... I mean if the real gamera is Raph why change it to Don :ohwell:

In an upcoming ep of Season 4 it's Don who's mutated into a Gamera. I call him Gameradon.
I am rather excited that there's a Gameradon figure coming out! Since he looks so much like Gameraph I can stand him next to my mini Don figure and say I have a Gameraph and Little Don figures from the current comics!
So for this round I want the Gameratmnt (Don/Raph..it don't matter...they look the same), Nobody (YES!!), and maybe Rat King.
And remember these are the prototypes so the prototypes always look like crap.
Is it just me or is the Baxter figure that of a white guy???

:D I am very happy to see these, especially Baxter Stockman. He's show-accurate and even has his Spider- body. Maybe he'll be a spider again in new season. Oh Yes, Purple Dragon too. I think he's Dragon Face. We desperately need Utrom Shredder.

im wicked excited! karai, quarry, purple dragon, bishop, stockman, nobody. its everyone on my wishlist! Playmates took a year off but they seem to be right where we left them! I cant wait. The new don look a lot like leatherhead. ratking looks old school, but it looks alot like the slayer at the same time. i checked. quarry is the same as the last prototype with a new paint job. is nobody's color scheme off? i thought he was yellow but i might be wrong. so now all i really am pulling for is harry, angel, and the justice force. this is almost as good as a synopsys. i think i was looking forward to new figures more!

Those new figures look great. At least we're gettin' new ones that looks like they are worth the wait. Is that Spider Baxter seperate from the Robotic one? Does anyone know about that? Good to see that we're gettin' a Purple Dragon. Now Casey'll have someone to fight besides Foot Ninjas,Star Wars, and GI Joe figures that I use for punks. I was wonderin' if a Nobody figure was gonna be released just recently. Looks like my prayers have been answered. Rat King looks amaing. I like how he looks similar to his vintage counterpart.

Finally! I can start buying TMNT figures again! It's been a long time since I've seen anything but variants and stuff. I was excited about Karai and Yoshi, but now I'll have to get that P.Dragon, Rat King, Bishop, and of course Baxter Stockman.
I love it that it's interchangable with an accurate Spiderbot this time. Looks like playmates listened to us.

And remember these are the prototypes so the prototypes always look like crap.
The prototypes usually have hand-painted applications and extra details in the sculpts that are lost during the tooling/duplication process. Unfortunately, what you see is the best it could possibly be. The sculpts may not suffer TOO much (how much could it suffer with so few details to start with?), but the paint apps on the wide release figures will be sloppy crap like they've always been.
Apparently somebody took a leak in my Wheaties this morning.
Baxter is a neat idea...the robotic body, surprise surprise, is way too plain, and it looks like a reused head. I AM impressed with the included Spiderbot. Donatello looks to have the best detailing of the bunch. I'll be interested to see if this is actually in the show.
Hell, I'll be interested to see these ON THE SHELVES. I haven't seen new TMNT in stores since last Spring.

You know, I saw the preview for the new season, and I KNEW that was the Rat King! Yeah, I'm a little behind.... didn't know the forum was back up, and I haven't read any Rat King comics yet... but I knew it was him.
I just don't get the Mutated Don... not the figure... just the whole idea. It seems like the worst idea from the last season of the 80's-90's cartoon show. But Someone will explain it to me, right?
All and All, I will actually buy these, provided they actually are in stores, not those cheesy varients.

Terrible as always but as always I'm still excited just because it's tmnt. I swear that if this was any other line I would NOT have sustained it past wave 2 (which is pretty much what ALL of the casual collectors have done, the ones that wouldn't care too much about TMNT normally but still like it).

What's wrong with the new figures??i like'em!design,color.....and there aint much wrong with the articulation either(well...mostly)The only thing that i think is wrong with the line is there isnt enough of the other characters besides the turtles....but thats geting better!I'm just a little amazed with some fans here giving this toy line a hard time.
Im just (really)happy these toys are made! And if they did truly suck as some say....why buy?...or even bother??(we can all still be friends right?)

09-08-2005, 01:46 PM
We just feel that other toy companies have evolved, changed with the times. Playmates seems to have stayed the same, and that's not gonna cut it in a day where people expect so much outta action figures in skulpt and articulation.
Damien Kash
09-08-2005, 02:54 PM

I rememebr back in the late 90's Playmates were really starting to tone down on articulation.
I collected their Star Trek toys for many year, which went from having standard articulation in the beginning, to having very good articulation (Voyager line) to all of a sudden cutting most articulation!!! We lost the knee joints, elbow joints, cuts at the top of the legs & arms....all gone...
I don't know why they did this. At the time they told us that the could only get more accurate sculpts if they limited the articulation....ofcourse we all knew that was BS....
I'm not sure if Playmates will take on wider movement in the figures again....I guess we can hope so.
BigApple3AM
09-08-2005, 07:37 PM
These figures suck because
a) The sculpts are pretty terrible save a few
b) The articulation sucks
c) the paints application is horrible
d) they don't even have many accessories anymore
Actually I think this line devolved. The older figures were more fun. You had a ton more accessories in the old line, better articulation for toys 15 years younger, and better paint applications.
There are exceptions for the new line, some figures that stand out are the regular turtles, nano bot, that purple dragon there, but the rest are questionable. I'm actually glad we've gotten what we have, it was fun to have child like toys again which are SOMEWHAT toon accurate, but it's definitely time for a change. These aren't even the best toon accurate toys anymore, JLU is much better in that regard.
If you don't see what I'm trying to say, here's an example:
http://comicbookbin.com/artman/uploads/varianthulk.jpghttp://img77.imageshack.us/img77/2849/front0jz.jpg
http://img77.imageshack.us/img77/7218/ml200151zq.jpghttp://img77.imageshack.us/img77/7843/front24cz.jpg
Granted these aren't the best comparisons, but just see the difference. Nobody might possible be the most ugly figure ever. Chunky is all I can think of to describe it, whereas in the cartoon they all seem slender. This toy line is not very cartoon accurate and is not articulated or have any gimmicks or accessories or even detail, all it has going for it is a name. The turtle name. I could sculpt better than almost any figure they've released so far.

You cannot compare Marvel Legends with TMNT toys. Toy Biz knows mainly adult collectors and older fans buy them. They're comic legends and have finally received the toys deserved. As for TMNT, they're geared toward kids, but Playmates should also keep us older fans in mind. I'm really happy they're giving us a good Baxter, even though his Spider-bot is overdue, but we're still gettin' it.

Im sick of it. All you people ever do is complain. You should be happy that we get anything at all. The figures have not been that bad. Forever people were whining about a show acurate baxter, and now that you are getting one what do you do. You complain, just like with the show and the comics and the other figures. I can't wait to hear the bad mouthing that goes on when the new movie comes out. You don't like it fine. But enough is enough, If it's so terrible go visit a Yu Gi OH website instead. Me, I guess I'm an untrue fan who expects quality and will not eat **** and pretend it's steak.
The truth is, you can compare marvel legends with tmnt? Why you may ask, oh I know it's because Marvel sells to kids as well and it actually isn't the collectors keeping it afloat. You gasp in horror by the shocking relevation that TMNT toys don't have to suck.
Whenever someone says something like that it always just means they can't come up with a defense for the arguement. Well these toys don't suck, YOU'RE NOT A TRUE FAN YOU DON'T BUY EVERYTHING.
Grow up, give a good explanation on your feelings and then let me know why TMNT figures don't suck. Until then I can consider myself a true fan and not buy TMNT toys.

No one complains about the new show or the comics. And that's the problem right there. The show is great, the comics are great. The DVDs suck and so do the toys. You can't give someone the best you got to start and then slack off and give us the worst you got. If anything I would expect the first line of toys be be like this not what we have now.
Think about it. The first DVDs had extras, nice menus, and scene selection. Funi just slacks off and now we get none of that. We get ****** menus, no extras, and no scene selection. Their even to god damn lazy to make the intro a scene so we can skip it. They did it on ONE DVD and then after that they went back to the old way. It pissed me off and I'm sick of it. I'm the one out there paying 12 bucks for the DVD and 6 bucks for the toy. I want my moneys worth. I don't want some half ass'd trash I would expect out of bootlegs. To be honest the new games suck too. They did nothing. The GBA games are fine but the console ones are stupid. Battle Nexus was alright atleast they made new cut scenes for it but that still didn't help me like it anymore. I want more in a game and they failed to deliver. Recycled ideas from 10 years ago don't cut with with me.
So don't tell me I'm not a true fan. A true fan wouldn not sit back and let his favorite thing be destroyed like this. It's a disgrace and you know.
No one complains about the new show or the comics.
Um..I see alot of complaining about volume 4 (myself included)...Tales I haven't seen 1 word on, but vol. 4 thats a whole other story...
And as far as the toys go, I love em...sure they are not super articulated like Legends, but IMO, I think articualtion to that degree is bit overrated...i mean sure you can pose some of those guys in every imagainable pose, but thats not what the TMNT toyline is about...it's strictly about play value... playmates is aiming this line at the kids, not collectors...sure they might throw us a bone every now and again, but the sheer utter lack of truly "collectible" merchandising shows their true heart...but you know what? I'm FINE with it... most of us started collecting when we were kids.... I don't recall any sophiscticated articulation...in fact look at the old '88 Shredder fig...one pose and an outfit that they just came up with...but still, I love the figure...why? Not cuz it's 99% toon accurate, or has 52 points of articualtion, or has the best paint appliaction...but because of the sheer joy I get (got as a kid) when holding a TMNT figure that i just saw portrayed in the cartoon/comic....i think to truly appreciate these toys, and any toys really, you have to have imagination..an imagination to take you somewhere else with these toys and enjoy them for what they are: TOYS, not "collectibles".
I just got back from vacation, and the 1st thing I did was go to the ninjaturtles.com..when I saw all the upcoming pics, I was so excited just to have these figs..i mean, Quarry, Rat King, Bishop..even a Purple Dragon!! But I KNEW, i just KNEW, that when i came here to the tech., I would see so much trash talking.... Again, thats your perogative to talk as much filth as some of you do about any and all of the new waves...after all, these are discussion boards so go right ahead...but I'll tell you what, if I was a PLaymates exec. who came to this site to see what the "fans" are saying about the line, I would walk away saying "Well, the 'fans' and 'collectors' out there have pretty much given up on us. They think we're idiots and except for the random person every now and again, they all think we're producing buckets full of sh**. The kids out there love the figures though, cuz they keep buying them making us a fortune. So let's just forget about those 'fans" and keep doing what we're doing: makin' toys aimed at kids."
Again, this is just my opinion so take it as you will...this was not aimed at anyone in particular, but just to the general feeling i get when I've read these threads over the last couple of yrs... :)
EDIT: Oh, and this whole "True Fan" crap...there's no such thing, we all like tmnt to different degrees, for different reasons...the one thing we do all have in common is a general enjoyment of the tmnt (again, in different medium(s) for different reasons)

well put. ok ecto and spitfire, I never said word one about being a true fan and having to buy everything. my complaint is that all I seem to be hearing is constant badmouthing about the state of everything tmnt. read the letters in vol 4. read the reviews of alot of the episodes. the games , whatever. there just seems to be more condeming than praise. so i post the question would you rather have no dvd's or toys or anything else. or are you at least happy that there is something being made right now. I dont read here often but when I do it's usually bad unless its in the fan works section . there are things in the tmnt universe i cant stand, like the garbage man and i personally think that the next mutation stinks like a sack full of buttholes. I'm not trying to start a fight.and didnt intend to shake your little world.

I dunno what happened to this line. It was great when it first started. Take a look at April, Casey and Hun. FLAWLESS translations from the series to plastic. Now? Not so much. Is it just me, or does Playmates seem to have some kinda beef with regular eyeglasses? Bishop and Baxter do not need sunglasses to look cool. One is wearing a black business suit, and the other has a ****ing robot body. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. And the Rat King? Lame, lame, lame.
Lame.

lmao I keep seeing 'the Purple Dragon is awesome' and 'the Purple Dragon is cool'. Guys, the guy died in the first episode. Geez. They shoulda at least made Dragon Face instead. Might as well make a figure out of the guy that runs around with Nano, or the homeless guy that has alot of theories from the 'Garbageman' episode too.

im glad i can finally check a few figures off my list. it is about imaginiation. sure the variants i might not give the time of day to look at, but some little kid always wanted his ninja turtle to go to midevil times. or they always wanted to use their shark toys with the ninja turtles, bam underwater turtles. its alot like the spidey and friends line. but the thing here is that they are older kids/adults buying the line. this year we werent reconized much, but next year we may be, it looks like we will be a lot more. playmates listens to us, they dont seak us out, but they listen to us. e-mail them, tell them you like how they actually are making another stockman. that takes balls for them to do. I am really happy they are trying to get bishop, quarry and purple dragon out. better late than never i always say. I dont mind the bad articulation, the only two that really bother me are usagi and the fire foot mystic. even then, who would have thought we would have a usagi figure, a few weeks after he premired on the episode, remind you. playmates is doing the best they can, they are trying to please everyone. this year was about pleasing the kids, next year is about pleasing us. please be a bit grateful, and have a open mind? but thats your opinion, and who am i to judge that your opinion is wrong and mine is right? so yea, this gives me hope.

so i post the question would you rather have no dvd's or toys or anything else.
Yeah, if their not going to do it right they can do me a favor and stop making the DVDs. Then I won't waste my money on their half ass products. I dont buy their Burger King toys so I dont care about that. All I buy are comics and DVDs. And the reason I buy the DVDs is because I cant stand commrcials so I watch the DVDs instead of the should on TV. I swear if the DVD price ever goes past 10.99 Im stopping though. Their not worth anymore then that.

Ok....I have only one thing to say and that's this. Sure the TMNT figures are desighned for kiddies...but so is Spider-man classics and those offer awesome skulpts and articulation...I mean there are many Spidey varients and a few villians and allies thrown in, but they are well made and full of "play value" but that doesn't take from their quality. I love the TMNT figs, and I will buy them still, I just feel they could be a bit better quality...That's all I ask.

I don't think it is wrong for fans of action figures in general to say these toys are below par in comparison with other lines...
I also don't think it's wrong for fans of the TMNT & not necessary action figures, to be happy with what they get....maybe not the youngens, but mature fans who don't play....
Personally.....I like articulation, but it's not a necessity to me in most lines as I don't play with the figures (Though some is necessary or I won't buy lines at all).
The figures look really nice to me as they are....The Purple Dragon looks really cool....& more could come....so it doesn't matter too much that he was a short lived guy...
Karai is pretty cool looking, though I'd imagine they'll change it to her regular outfit (or is that rather unlikely?)...
I think this is a much better version of Baxter than we previously received...
Quarry will add some colour & a cool looking character...
I'm sorry....I just don't think Playmates do too badly, but I have been following them for over ten years now....I am kinda used to their ways...

I myself think the maevel legends figures are cool...mostly......but all that articulation??come'on!If you just pose it,it seems to get looser and looser in the joints....and the sculpts arnt that beautiful with alll the joints showing...some even look like.....nevermind :ohwell:(they are fun though)
Atleast they dont break like mcfarlane toys do :-?
Anyway,to say it would be better with no tmnt toys and dvd'(and vol4 comic?)now that frightens me! I dont get the show on tv here,so i need the dvd's
If these new prototypes are anything to go by,then this line will improve and improve!!like that the figures are standing straight and not silly posed...or have so much articulation they can't even stand up after use.....the toys can handle some rough playtimes, cant say that about alot of other figures...
just want to make it clear(cause i said it)the "true fan"bit was a joke,i DON'T consider some here more fans then others!! :D

I don't think the comparison can be made to Marvel Legends anyway, but yes there is too much articulation on ML figures. It's why ToyBiz is notorious for loose joints and broken figures.
On the other end of the spectrum is McFarlane, with not enough articulation(or rather, pre posing, which is the real issue there), and still lots of breakage issues(but in this case it's due to the plastic used).
I have no problem with either of those extremes, and I own lots of ToyBiz superarticulated figures, and lots of McFarlane statue-figures also. But somewhere in between is always preferred IMO. And articulation needs to be decided on a figure by figure basis anyway.
Would I like more articulation on the TMNT figures? Yeah, a little more would help. And some of the sculpts could use some work(but only some, most are good). But you can't expect lots of articulation on animated characters, even most of the characters that need more would only benefit from 2-4 new joints(usually knees & elbows basically). What I'm saying is, Playmates does an acceptable job, all things considered. The figures could be better, but they could be a lot worse also.
Specific things I think need to be avoided are:
pre-posing- Usagi
action features that ruin a figure- Traximus
Sculpts aren't much of an issue. Scale is an issue, but one I can understand. Paint is an issue that makes the sculpts seem worse than they are. If these were painted better and with more detail, I don't think there would be all the complaints about the sculpts. Honestly the only figures that I really think need to be resculpted and rereleased are the ones no one ever complains about, the 4 basic Turtles and Splinter.
The real problem is that the releases need to be more consistant. Last year we got tons of secondary characters, and this year almost none. But these new figures will make up for it, to an extent.
Yea, they have been a bit slow on the releases this year but this next line looks promising...hopefully they'll be some more before the year is out

I'm sorry I was in a bad mood I didn't mean to snap. I really don't even care about these toys anymore I just buy them when I see them and throw them in my closet.
Honestly I think the turtles and splinter are fine, it's the others that need work, but that's just me. If all the secondary characters had at least the purple dragon's articulation the line would be acceptable, but what is up with the cut legs on rat king? Kids have imagination and they like to pose their figures too, like in the vehicles, a lot of tmnt figures can't even sit down let alone strike a pose.
Usually I'm an advocate for the TMNT figures, I'm just upset that they have a new batch of figures and they're worse that the ones we've already got.
I don't want Marvel Legends TMNT, and I don't want McFarlane TMNT (that company is overrated anyway), I don't even want DC Direct TMNT. I want what playmates is doing but I want them to IMPROVE for once. I've seen a lot of toy companies start out junky and get better and better, Jazwares is almost as good if not better than playmates and they're a new company who started off with some VERY questionable figures.
Though I think TMNT figures could get away with the ball joint articulation when Spider-man can't. They're shoulders and upper legs can come out of their shell making the ball joint appear more normal. Personally I don't see the problem with most of Toybiz's articulation choices, it's mostly they're face sculpting I rag on (mr fantastic, black widow, sue storm in the FF boxset, all terrible).
Remember that TMNT figures used to have ball joint arms and legs in the old line (next mutation figures, movie star turtles, etc...). Though Next Mutation was a crock of sh** the toys were pretty advanced for their time and showed true promise for the future of TMNT toys, and then we got this.
Once again I apologize for getting snippy, didn't mean to piss anyone off or pick fights, just very strong wording that probably didn't need to be. Carry on. :D

Hmmm...... All I want is really good sculpts, really good paint apps, and at least 12 points of articualtion.
My Articulation Idea:
1. ball joint neck
2. ball joint arm
3. ball joint arm
4. ball joint elbow
5. ball joint elbow
6. ball joint wrist
7. ball joint wrist
8. waist that turns
9. ball joint leg
10. ball joint leg
11. ball joint knee
12. ball joint knee
And maybe some figures could have ball joint ankles, which would add 2 more points of articualtion. 14 points is no where near Marvel Legends articualtion. 14 points is, IMO, the needed amout of articualtion for really good poses.
Add Edit: I also wanted to add that turtle figures wouldn't have waist turn articualtion becasue of their shell. It just wouldn't look right. I also wanted to add that I think hand/finger articulation would be over kill, IMO. So pre-posed hands that allow the figure to hold their weapons properly and could also pass for being fists would be good, IMO.
Lastly, the JazWares company still has a way to go. Yes they have improved, but their new Mortal Kombat figures could have had better sculpts and paint apps. The articualtion is great on the Mortal Kombat figures though, probably too much articulation for some people.

i do miss the ball and socket joints. look guys i really just wanted people to not be so militant and agree that its not all bad. there are some valid complaints about these figures. I personally cant stand action features. and where as i dont want marvel legends articulation the way the first wave at least had something was good. i wish thatfewer figures were like hun and I hope they never use that collapsing feature again. but back to articulation. a little elbow, shoulder, neck, waist, and wrist rotation and ball socket hips like the old figures and I am a happy camper. I'm not new to the figures. I am probobly older than most of you and remember well when the first figures came out that comic fans were dead set against them. and that they looked like crap. I guess the more things change the more they stay the same. anyways peace guys no reason for us to get all nutted up over hunks of plastic.

Personally, I'm far more worried about the toys not getting released at all in decent quantities than buying toys that other fans think are "crappy"-- if these toys are truly crappy, that says something indeed about our society, since TMNT is one of the top 10 (or was it 5?) boys' toylines being produced right now.
I really want General Blanque. But now it seems I may not get him.

PlayMates just refuses to make their TMNT figures modern, they are stuck in the early 90s.
Add Edit: That is a FACT, they are stuck in the early 90s. Just compare some figures made in the early 90s to these figures and they pretty much look the same.

Turtle in the Shell: Which is weird since the Next Mutation figures were released in 97 and where great and they were improving so much and then we got these. Like I said it's like they reverted.
Utromx: Yeah, I know the old turtle figures weren't what Mirage fans wanted, but then again the toys back then were actually ground breaking by the fact that they had way more articulation and detail than most toys at the time, and like I said this line started out okay and I was satisfied but eventually it just become old and outdated and I realized they were never going to improve. If anything they just get worse with every wave (with exceptions of course).
CJJohn: Yeah are society is pretty crappy though. Like I've said before just because other people buy it doesn't make it great. Same goes for EVERYTHING, including music. Do you listen to backstreet boys because for a while they were on the top charts thanks to little girls.
Popularity means nothing about quality, though don't get me wrong something can be both popular and very good quality, this isn't the case with TMNT. Plus our society is going down the tubes, but that's a different discussion altogether.
I think we all need to agree to disagree, though I think the majority realize that these are not what they could be though many think they're still acceptable.

While I agree that they aren't what they could be, I still find the line as whole more than just acceptable. Just in the fact of the diversity of characters they have released, with some not even prominent characters, shows that. Sure we want MORe. Heck, we ALWAYS want more characters, but i think PM has been doing a very good job on that end.

I'm glad I'm not the kinda person that complains about the articulation. You people have better things to worry about. The Army of Darkness figures are four inches tall and they have about the same amount of articualtion as the TMNT figures do. They might have a little more but it isn't that much. I'm glad there's action figures out there that are four inches tall and have the similar amount of points of articulation. I guess that's a fair compairson. I'm not really sure about it.

Is it just me or is the Baxter figure that of a white guy???
I just noticed that.....he's lilly white....
Which is rather white.....for a black guy!!!!
Well that would have to be my biggest problem with the set...

My thoughts, in order of seeing them.
1) Don? That should be Raph. That'd be fun to mod, if I could actually pose it.
2) Rat king should look like a hobo. And he'd be fun, if I could pose it.
After that, I stopped looking at them.
Seriously, people arn't buying these toys anymore because they look and move like crap. The toy isles here used to have 5-6 rows dedicated to them... now they have 2, if that. Playmates has seriously dropped the ball.

Hmm. Quite interesting. I'm still trying to figure out when I'll see some new figures in stores here. I still haven't seen anything past half of wave 2 and some random figures from wave 3. Damn Canada.

I am with all the Canadians. Although I found it weird when we got the Air Ninja and Meck Wrekkers. Although not as cool as the other characters, it satisfied my TMNT craving for a little while.
I regularly phone Spin Masters and they have assured me we can expect a "whole bunch" of new figures for the Xmas season. I want to believe them, I really do.
And there seems to be support for the turtles no matter where I go in Canada because they are always picked through and often there are only a handful on shelves. I just don't get why we are being treated this way. Overseas, even in the Middle East where my parents live, they have newer ones than we do. My parents in SAUDI ARABIA got me my Leatherhead, Giant Mouser, etc. That is what makes it so aggravating.

I don't get it either. I guess they're just determined to alienate the Canadian fan base?
