Welcome to me :)

I'm Sam. I am from Australia & I have only recently looked back into the TMNT action figure lines.

I did watch the Turtles as a kid, but I never bought the toys for some reason.

After seeing some nice figures in the newer line I decided I would start buying both the new & the classic series...

I have been watching the new series when I can...but I unfortunately miss quite a bit.....I'll probably just get them all on DVD one day...

I have to say the Sewer Playset helped in my deciding to collect the line....I generally like some kind of cool playset to go with the figure lines I collect, & the Turtles Lair was pretty nifty & sweet looking....especially with all the mains in there! :D

I only have a few still....The Turtles, Splinter, April, Casey, Shredder, an Elite Foot Soldier & the baby Turtles...oh...plus the giant mouser...

For the classic line, I decided I would buy the women first....whilst I am not going to be doubles odf any other character, I did with April as I wasn't sure which one I'd like the best for display....I am still missing the 'Glamour date' type April still....& I althought I won't delve into the movies at all, I did get Princess Mitsu as she was the only other female produced.

I also got the Channel 6 News Van which came with an April & the Turtles Wagon, although it wasn't in the best shape when I got it from eBay...
I am currently bidding on the classic sewer playset...it doesn't look anywhere near as 'swish' as the new one...but it will still be awesome to display the classic Turtles crew in.

So all in all I am at the first stages of learning about the Turtles & their figures all over again....& It is fun....heaps glad I found this forum...

Ha haaaa! they also produced Irma (the annoying April sidekick), Mona Lisa (fan favorite Raph flirt from the «Raphael meets his match» episode), Kala the Neutrino (cutest figure produced), Vam Mi (a vampire fron the NT:TNM live-action TV series) and a few Venus de Milo figures (the infamous «fifth turtle» from NT:TNM). Guess you'll have to dig out a few extra bucks, mate.

I'm always looking for some gender diversity in lines I collect....so that is heaps good news....
I'm stoked we'll have 3 women in the new Turtle line as of next year some time (providing Quarry comes out, someone questioned that)...

I read that the old sewer playset is a bitch to keep together....does it tend to fall apart on everyone? or just the guy who wrote the review I read??

Do we have a dealer on the board? like the 'Master of Turtle figures' or something who we recommend?
