I say Leonardo. Like Leo2 said, it was Leo that Shredder sent a note to to try to get Leo to work with him. Leo is the ideal warrior, and Shredder knows this.

Think about it... If Leo was evil, he would be Shredder himself. Cool, determand, deadly skillful, seeking to be the best/most powerful, they both lead their own clan. Leo is like the "light/good" version of Shredder, where as Shredder is like the "dark/evil" version of Leo.

Donnie would be a second choice since not only is Donnie a fearsome warrior, but he's also technologicaly brilliant which would make him a good replacement for both Hun and Baxter.

I can't really see Shredder wanting Raph and Mikey since they're both too wild and lack focus. If anything, I would see Shredder only using them as desposable warriors in a futile battle for some kind of grand plan.

I voted Michelangelo since he's the weakest of all four turtles and therefor the easiest to defeat (Leo trains the hardest, Raph has his temper, Don makes weapons, Mike...cracks jokes?). So yeah, Shredder probably likes him best since he poses the smallest threat.

Donatello all the way! think about it Donatello is easily the most useful of all the four turtles because of his formiddable intellect and engineering skills. Heck If Shredder recruted Donatello he wouldn't be dependent on Krang for anything because Donatello could do everything Krang can do only better. And he wouldn't need Bebop and Rocksteady either becuase Donatello is a proficient warrior all his own.

However Donatello as a partner with Shredder wouldn't work out on a full time basis. Mostly because I think Donatello would evetually over though Shredder and go solo.

Because lets face it people, Donatello from the classic series had some shades of grey to his character. He had a deffinate dark side of the mad scientist varity. I could very easily picture him as a villan in the old series. Don't believe me? catch the episode where he makes a clone of himself, and he is all evil. He was an arrogant prick, and he had every right to be. That clone was apart of Donatello and mirrored his personaity and nature, so I think its safe to say that Doantello from the old series had a hiden evil side to his character; Don't let the quite geek routine fool you!

But I still sway with Leo, Donnie as a close second. Raph's probably too rash and Mikey's too childish, but leo's ninja prowless and Donnie's brains would make Shredder see them as the bigger threats.

ahh...Michaelangelo is ever the one turtle that is always undrestimated and disregarded as being threatless in every medium **shakes head**. i really think that if push came to shove that Mike could be a threat. And I beleive this about him in every incarntion of him too (yes even the classic toon).

The fact that every one underestimates him would give him a hellava advantage, since no one would be expect out of him.

But i think Shredder's fave would be Donatello as he is the turtle most likliest to turn to the dark side(according to the old cartoon). Shredder is obsessed of making new devices to destroy the turtles and Donatello would satisfy them with his superior devices. Also, Donatello is the least emotional of the lot, being logical, and definetely the first or second most mentally unstable turtle. I think Leonardo and Mikey are too fixed in their ways.

Well, after hearing some arguments, I have to go with Donatello.

One day as I watched "Invasion of the Punk Frogs" I realized how cynical Don is, how realistic and not so eager to trust he is compared to his brothers. When Leonardo wanted to grant the frogs mercy, Donatello wanted to leave them behind to the mayor's squad--"Maybe you haven't been keeping up on current events, Leo, but they aren't exactly on our side."

Plus, Don is smart. Not only does this make him a good ally, it gives him an edge, like Sage Ninja said. I don't care how good a person you are, all geniuses enjoy being geniuses a little too much at one point in their life. It can give a feeling of superiority.

Well, I think we all know the answer to that. :lol: The Shredder obviously sought out Leonardo because he as the most physically trained, the most devoted, what have you. He takes his practices to a "real" level in a way Don or Raph or Mikey don't. For them it's a way of fighting. For Leonardo, it's a way of life.

Leo and Raph would be way more likely to turn before Don. Just look how Leo acts his mind is set in such a mood where he could fight without a reason. I doubt Shredder would have a chance to take advantage of this though unless he found a way to set something up where he could prove himself to Leo to trick him.

I do agree that Don would be a good ally for Shredders technology for making stronger Foot Soldiers.But I remember an episode called "Napoleon, Colussus of the Swamp". In this episode is where Shredder makes a Mutation Gun and uses it on Napoleon (who was one of the Punk Frogs) to make him seem similar to the Hulk to destroy the turtles.Shredder kidnaps Donnie and forces him to fix the Mutation Gun.But Donnie tricks him and reverses it. Therefore I don't think Shredder would trust Donnie with his technology.

You guys have got it all wrong. I think that Michaelangelo out of all the turtles would be the least likely to turn to the dark side, he is the most morally conscience of the four turtles. this is true in all mediums, classic toon, New toon, Mirage comic, ect.

Michaelangelo is all about fighting for the greater good and doing what is right, and he is naturally empathatic. Mike just isn't the sort of person to harm others for his own gain.

This doesn't mean that he doesn't have one however. But in the scenario that Stryker put out of, if Michaelangelo was some how getting his brain seriously messed around with by Shredder to turn bad I don't think that he would be the first to crack out of all the others. Mike is never given any credit for much; but I think that he is allot stronger emotionally and spirturally enough that a little tampering with his head wouldn't make him go all evil.

And the whole scenrio with the pizza bribing...as pizza whipped as he was in the classic toon it would take hell of a lot more for Michaaelangelo to turn to the dark side.

But you this is a very intersting topic about the turltes dark sides. I think it deserves its own thread.

Mikey or Raph could leave the gang after some huge conflict between one of them and the rest.

Don may find Shredder's/Baxter's/whoever's abode the fine place to fulfill his magnificent potential...

And Leo? Only if he goes insane or misunderstands the code or when he becomes sorta "Bushido fundamentalist", who, for the love of the code abuses its basic principles and rules. Or if he's cheated by Shredder like in Season 1.

Mike on the other hand has a sense of humor that would probably get under the Shredder's skin (or armor I suppose).

Leonardo is a possibility and although the clan needed more leaders, I don't think Shredder would give this right to one of the turtles.

Donatello being the brainiac would be able to create all the gizmo's and gadgets and he wouldn't get in anyone's way when doing it. So I would have to say Don seems the most useful to Shredder.

Actually, DrSpengler, Donatello is the weakest, as the Palladium RPG book (which Laird and Eastman worked very closely with) attests to.

I tire of people who claim that "Mikey is the worst fighter". Whether he's the best is another matter, but he's actually quite skilled, and he's also the most agile of the bunch (an important skill in ninjutsu).

I see this poll in two ways. Way 1) Shredder has expressed an interest in Leo because he(leo) is so similar to shredder. ((don't kill me. But come on, in the new toon with all the extremes you can't blame me for saying he's dark)) Raph is also high on his list because of the anger quote but I'll leave the star wars to MN. In my opinion Mikey and Don would be most useful to shredder though. Don cause we got the genius thing going on and Mikey because he has such potential. Leo is already on his own "path" but Mikey being the trusting guy he is could be a valuable asset.

I say Leo for this reason: It was Leo that made the challenge to Shredder in Return to New York. Raph wanted to, but got burnt out, so Leo took over. (Attack on Leo in the one shot issue)

I only say this because it just seems that way in the comics. However, in the new show, also, he seemed to favor Leo, yet again. After he was defeated, Shredder had Leo hunted and nearly killed, yet again, proving that Shredder's Favorite... in terms of wanting to kill the most, would be, in my opinion, Leo.
