What characters from the new toon would you say could have worked in the comic.
Me, I'd say...Bishop, Traximus, Hun, Touch and Go, and Silver Sentry.

I haven't read enough of the comics to know who'd "fit in," as you say. But my favorite "new" character is definitely Traximus. Hun is great, as is Bishop (don't like the superheroes that keep popping up :dead: )
Not only does he have gladiator coolness, but Trax also has an awesome-sounding voice. :P
I definately think Bishop could fit....very dark character I think Mirage could have alot of fun with...
I know nothing about the comics. How much does the current series follow them?

Didn't Mortu make it into the comics or was he in the comics first.

Bishop wouldn't work in the comics. Not with the way things are currently. Alot of the new show characters wouldn't work at all. Adding action scenes would be to much to ask I guess -_-

Nah i can't see any of the new toons being transferred maybe if the Archie series were still around but Mirage? no no no.
Theres no Harley in the bunch

Maybe the Ultimate Ninja and his pops, or one-shot villains like Touch & Go.
Bishop is a character that requires a major spotlight, and I don't think Laird would sacrifice what he's working on right now to introduce him.

Let see, try 98% of it.

I don't think there was an Utrom specifically named Mortu.

Some of you might have been confused. I said "could have" worked. Meaning they could have appeared at anytime during the entire run.

I'd say Bishop, Traximu, and Hun have definate Harley potential.

Maybe they could show up in Tales of the TMNT.

Quarry woukld fit in tales i think. tales also would be good for nano, touch and go, and maybe the battle nexus mini series. id love to see angel and traximus in the comic, thats why i wish the show had its own comic. bishop would make a really cool villian. i can deffinetly see all of them in archie/vol 3

So why do you think that? I agree that most of the characters wouldn't fit in the comic (except for maybe in Tales) but I still think Bishop could eaisly work his way into the comics...

Since the Justice Force are regulars in the current Mirage comic (to the point that Stainless Steal Steve is considered to be one of Shadow's uncles) and NYC seems to be full to overflowing with superheroes (so much so there's a hospital for em thanks to Zippy Lad) Im surprised Silver Sentry hasn't appeared yet. He'd blend in rather nicely.

I think he would have fit perfectly in volume 2 of the comics. Or if Mirage did volume 3, maybe he could have been in there.

I'd have to say Hun. I hated him at first, but now I have grown to like him. I especially think that he looks cool in the new season wearing a trenchcoat and such.

I could see Hun, Silver Sentry, Traximus, Ultimate Ninja, Mortu and Touch and Go in the comics. If only we could get Laird to take requests...those characters would be great additions.

The world is open to aliens now Bishop isn't needed....
Considering Bishop's background, he could be added as the person who created those alien-hating pseudo-vampires that attacked Raph. Though Laird’s probably not going to do anything more on that vein.

The Bishop cartoon episodes are pretty dark as it is. Imagine what they could get away with if they put him in Tales.

That'd might be a good way to help explain Raph's mutation. And the fact that these "vampires" can walk around in daylight.

Maybe Hun and traximus , Zog if he was alive Bishop is a good character to keep in mind but I dont know how he would fit in unless it was a Tales comic

Bishop is a New bad guy since last season from the TMNT new toon, he's kind of like a Mr. Smith from the matrix but he fights and makes experiments with "aliens"
How is he like Agent Smith? Because he looks similar?

I'm of the opinion that variations of most of them could work in the comics. If well thought out and written, almost any charachter can be done, and done well. It's all in the vision. I would like to see the Daymio and Ultimate ninja, Traximus, Bishop, Hun, Hell..Even Chapman could be fit in, in some role. It's all in the work up man. But..they could work even better as non continuity stories, sort of elseworldish. Could be a means to revive "Plastron Cafe" Or "Turtle Soup".

I guess they do look alot alike and Bishop did wipe the floor with the turtles when they all met up so i guess he kicks a** like Smith too...

I think Hun would make a cool accomplace to work with Cha Ocha, and Traximus could probably show up at some point to the turtles' aid.
Oh and FYI, Zog was in the original comics during the "Return to New York" storyline where he got ripped to shreds by the Shredder clones.
