Karai is out there! I found mine at walmart tonight. Happy hunting. You'll also find some of the earlier figures, such as the sports figures and the triceratons in the new packaging with DVDs in them, the first three episodes.

I didn't realize this until I got the figure, but you can remove all the shredder armor to make it just a basic Karai figure. I was happy about that.

Hey--that's AWESOME! I don't suppose you can post pictures?

Also, are any of the other rare figures shipping in the DVD wave that you know of? Minnetokka Mutant, Gen, Foot Tech Ninja, Foot Soldier, General Mozar, Draco?

Also--where are you located in the country? Without knowing that, it's impossible to guess what parts of the country these have hit...

Thats great nes to hear as a number of people were pretty unimpressed by how Karai looked...that is definately a plus...any pics would be great! :)

Found a Karai at Walmart today. I can't take pics since my digi cam finally crapped out on me. She looks good, a little thinner that I thought, going from the online pics I saw of her. Still, I am happy to finally see new figures out. THey had Usagi, and Triceraton Warriors in the new packages. Anyways I am in ILLINIOS so keep an eye out .:D

So they finally reissued Usagi...thats good for the many that missed him the first time around...and i've been seeing the Triceraton Warriors (and buying them) already which is sweet cuz I'm still workin on the army (curently at 40)..hopefully , they pull out more utroms...didn't get enough the first time around...

The figures seem to be coming with a random DVD from the 3 available. I wonder if there are 3 diffrent stock codes per figure depending on the DVD :|

If anyone can get a few Karais or Minnetonka Mutants I'd love to make a deal with them so I could get one of each in time for Christmas (after aramconbrat of course, she asked first:) )

It's weird how hardly any Utroms came out in the US, there were tons available here! I think I pretty much bought them all to send to people overseas. There were tons of Gens too, the last time I checked there was still one in each toystore that I go to. A lot of Usagis are around these parts aswell. Maybe someone will want to trade for a Karai or Minnetonka Mutant?

Yep, still haven't seen the Utrom here... I got mine and my sister's bf's Utrom from Jed... One of my favorite figures by far!

I looked for her when I went to Wal*Mart to buy the Star Wars Episode 3 DVD, with no luck at all. I hope I find Karai soon. I don't go out to the stores as much as I used to so it may be awhile before I find her.

I've been seeing all of the figures with DVD with some regularity lately, except for the Minnetonk which I've only seen once (and bought)...also only have seen 2 Gens (which I bought both also)...

$20? That's fairly dear, I got mine for $12 when she was still hard to find and you can probably get her even cheaper now. I'm sure there's BINs on ebay for $10, or someone here would help you out and sell you one at cost.

Yeah, a friend at the Technodrome helped me get two of them for about $6 a piece before shipping so $20 is pretty expensive. I'd only pay that for the Nanotech at this point, and I have dozens of Nanotechs.

If you are overly eager to get the new figures, then I guess the price is reasonable... but if you wait until they aren't the 'newest' thing, then you can get them at cost or find that the amazing people on here will help you get them at cost!

Articulation is basically big five (head, both arms and both legs) but the waist and wrists are also articulated so what's that 8?

Thanks for the reply about the articulation. Yeah, that's 8 points of movement. Playmates should really give these figures more articulation. All the characters know martial arts afterall, so they should be able to do some awesome poses. Well, it's almost 2:00 AM, I am tired.

I just grabbed a Karai off eBay....& I'm excited:D

I have been waiting for her for a while....along with Bishop & that new Baxtor Stockman.

For some reason, the guy I bought her off said she will not be coming with a CD! I'm not sure why, I think he said she didn't have one, but he is sending me a free figure for this! (I think it's because the auction pic featured the disk)

What is on the disk anyway? one of Karai's main episodes I gather?

I am also stoked we are getting the second female in the new line.

The disc that comes with her is a bonus DVD and you get one of three with a figure, they're put in at random so you can get any combination of figure and DVD. The DVDs have one episode each from the new toon, Things Change, A Better Mousetrap and Attack of the Mousers (first three episodes of Season One). I think my Karai came with Things Change but I'm not sure:-?

While I was intregued by the Karai I saw in Target, I was more interrested in the rerelease figures, since I FINALLY got a hold of the Fugitoid.

Remember when people had problems looking for Gen and the reast due to heavy orders of TMNT varients? I've had that trouble since LAST year. Now, if they only rereleased Traximus, The Triceriton General, the Utrom and The Silver Sentry, I'd be happy.

Got a Karai today at K-Mart for $6.99. Also got some cheese-its and a Corpse Bride DVD...but that's not important.

I have to say, I like the Karai toy. Her face sculpt is a little..."ugly", but with the helmet on it doesn't matter much. She has a crap-load of accessories, but only two hands.

Her right hand is too tight to hold the shield, and the left hand can only hold it at a decent-looking angle if you remove her Shredder-blades. Which kinda sucks. So I just have her holding both swords, and despite her lack of articulation, got her in a decent pose.

I really only bought her because I'm amassing a Shredder army and her slender figure broke up the monotany quite nicely.

After seeing Shredder Karai on the toon I noticed that the figure is not 100% accurate. Oh well..... I wonder if this means PlayMates is going to stop making male Shredder figures since he's not on the toon anymore.

How innacurate is she? very noticeable?

I did not really think Karai was that ugly....she cartainly aint pretty but it looks more like a generic asian chick....& nothing like Karai herself.

Seems odd when they did so well with April...
