You can upload your animated avatar like you'd use a normal avatar. In your User Control Panel (http://forums.thetechnodrome.com/usercp.php).

Animated Gifs in messages can be linked by the IMG-Tags.

Upload the image on an image host. You can not link images directly from your harddrive.
Put the URL to that picture between [ IMG ] and [ / IMG ] (minus the spaces), and that should be it

By the way, may I add that you're the first user of 1337-speak who's not a computer geek I've ever met?
